Interesting vid. Don't really agree with the tyre widths or sizes. Depends on the vehicle, the terrain and you goal. Narrow is sometimes better than wide. But you might still want it fairly tall. E.g. 7.50 x 16 or a 9.00 x 16. A 7.50 x 16 is slightly taller than a 31.10.50R15 usually around 32" tall, but only 7.50 wide.
Pie cutters do well in some limited situations, but its generally a narrow margin. In the situations a wide tire is better, mud snow etc its drastically better. That said there is an optimal point and some people blow right by that.
Not limited at all in the UK. Many treads designed for the US market and terrain don't work very well in large parts of the UK. Just a different kind of mud.
You think bias ply will be worse on fuel off road despite being lighter? No man bias ply tires are easily better for pure off road use. Which is what your stating this is targeted at. If its a multi purpose tire sure by all means go radial. BP wont do well on the high way or last nearly as long. But if its pure off road bp is better and will handle better in worse situations.
Too many people get hung up on inches of lift. Some kits will list say 3" but under weight will give less total lift then a 2-2.5" lift. Aim for maximum wheel travel instead of inches of lift.
Bias ply in 12, 14, 16 ply have much stronger side walls to resist staking than any radial junk.

Ok here's one for you. Lower lifts 1-2" with fender replace w/ metal cloke tube fenders.
Sounds good :)
