I wrote it the day before seeing Steve Reich's Music For 18 Musicians in concert, it came in a kind of anticipatory excitement.
It samples a Bulgarian man I met on a mountainside wearing a green shell suit clapping... and the sound of some mead that my brother Merlin and I were making bubbling away in a demijohn among many other things!

I'm inspired to do my best when listening to your music
Sometimes i feel like I was never able to have a childhood, but listening to your music, I feel like a little kid! A little kid with bruises and scratches on my arms from tripping over tree roots from all of my adventures. I feel like a little kid dancing by a pond while the sun sets and fireflies come out. I feel young and happy and naive and fun and I'm so thankful for finding your wonderful music!!

I keep drawing to your music since The Moss comed out, and it never ceases to amaze me. It's alive and full of colours; in it you may hear forests and seas, rocks and skies, bugs and birds, all the shapes of life in all it's fullness. If I were a music, I wish I could be played by Cosmo Sheldrake.

Honestly discovering this song has been such a blessing. I don't think i've ever listened to a song so much on repeat for years. Something about the lyrics and melody make me want to cry and dance and I'm forever thankful it's in my life

@@Goat_Eye Believe it or not, I've been thinking about goat eyes for a while, and almost wrote an essay with the title. It was about the time I went out at night *without* knowing that animals reflected flashlight beams in a way that gave them zombie eyes. Scared the crap out of me. Anyway, I agree in that life is based mostly on sentiments and such. Doesn't mean I would die for the man, but even that depends on circumstance.

There's a beautiful balance of energy and calm here. I love it
The rhyming in this song reminds me of a kind of poem called ambahan wich is basically seven syllables in two lines with the last syllable in each line rhyme,and the two lines can be interchanged but still make sense.
