Salems Lot, which was supposed to come out in September of 2022 and was heavily rumored to be written off, just got announced to be releasing on Max this October. Coyote Vs Acme, unlike Batgirl and Scoob Holiday Hunt, was actually rated by the MPPA last July so it is truly finished. It's definitely not a cash issue as WB has been signing all these deals lately with directors and more to look attractive to a potential buyer.
How about he talks about how we almost got a movie of Marvin the Martian it would’ve been a live action Christmas movie about Marvin the Martian and we almost got a live action movie of Hong Kong phooey I wanted those movies to happen and wanted to see both of us live action movies but no they had to be canceled and that really is annoying and I wanted to see sly cooper movie, but they canceled that to attack. Therefore, in that scene, it’s extremely likely Road Runner testified by holding up signs. He even ends his testimony with “Will you come back?” 🥲 A couple of remarks regarding the movie’s leaked synopsis: - 9:52 Wile E. hugging Road Runner in that movie would’ve been awesome to watch indeed. However, in the leaked synopsis, there is no mention of a hug: it only says that Wile E. chooses not to drop his trap on Road Runner because he is moved by Road Runner’s friendship. Maybe Wile E. remains seated and emotional, perhaps even holding up a sign to answer him that he will indeed come back; or maybe he does go toward him and hugs him and the synopsis just doesn’t specify that. I hope this second possibility is the true one. - After the asylum section, there’s a scene where Paige argues with Kevin about his methods and lack of enthusiasm, and then another whole scene with Kevin telling Wile E. all about his backstory and the reason why he is so jaded with his lawyer job; then Wile E. takes him to the edge of a cliff and tries over and over to jump to another cliff edge (falling every time), to show Kevin that no matter the setbacks, you must never give up. - After Wile E. leaves Kevin in Washington DC, the synopsis says that he angrily hitchhikes to go back to the desert, but he sees so many Acme logos and products that he decides he can’t give up now (probably going back with now the sole goal of making Acme pay). - 10:35 the synopsis says that it is Dr Lorre who sends the anonymous tip, but your version makes more sense, as it shows a redemption for Tweety, and it says that later Dr Lorre finally reunites with Granny and that Tweety secretly observes them remorsefully. Also, it says that Dr Lorre’s anonymous tip was to a cache of videos proving Acme’s decades-long wilful negligence. There are other parts of the synopsis that you didn’t mention in the video, but I suppose it was in order not to make the video too long, which is understandable. Personally, I’m sad to see what this movie did with Daffy and Tweety, making one clinically insane (at least so it seems) and the other “older and bitter” (according to the synopsis). The truly insane thing is that they are not making money by writing the movie off they just lose somewhat less money, the value of the write off is less than they already spent on the movie up to this point. Also they could have lost less money by selling the rights to some other distributor who would then have put the movie out (they apparently got offers that would have guaranteed them more money than the write off if less than the production money spent so far), but they won't presumably because they think it would make them look worse than this debacle does (that seems impossible to me).
not sure id call it a built in audience, considering the failure of most theatrical looney tune related films. still who knows, with this creative team, maybe it would have worked out unlike space jam and looney tunes back in action, this seems to actually be about the tunes

I'm not someone who likes to go to theaters anymore, and I would have happily gone out to show my support of such a film, not just to spite Zaslav, but because I love the looney tunes and enjoyed their previous live action/animation hybrid films. It seems to be the reason Zaslav's not however is for a simple reason; it would prove he's a moron who failed upwards. Pride seems to have screwed him, so we can only hope for his removal as Warner Discovery continues to tank, as at this point the only reason he's still there is he has yesmen on the corporate board...but that can only last so long in the face of how bad warner stock values have gotten.
I want to see this movie so bad! Honestly, I would say this is just a corporate strategy to hype buzz for the movie but that would require someone competent in charge to do! Davis Zaslav has done great harm to film and tv, inspiring other studios to start doing the same. In all honestly, it doesn't matter whether something truly is a masterpiece or utter shit. No one deserves to see this happen to their work and everything, whether good or bad, has fans out there, whether for genuinely loving the product or loving to hate it.
If you want to really stick it to WB, find a screening of Hundreds of Beavers. This is the closest I've seen to a live-action, feature length Looney Toons episode and it is phenomenal!

At this point, the only hope I see for Looney Tunes is the Day the Earth Blew Up, and I might just scream if that gets shelved as well. I'm not someone who likes to go to theaters anymore, and I would have happily gone out to show my support of such a film, not just to spite Zaslav, but because I love the looney tunes and enjoyed their previous live action/animation hybrid films. It seems to be the reason Zaslav's not however is for a simple reason; it would prove he's a moron who failed upwards. Pride seems to have screwed him, so we can only hope for his removal as Warner Discovery continues to tank, as at this point the only reason he's still there is he has yesmen on the corporate board...but that can only last so long in the face of how bad warner stock values have gotten.

I want to see this movie so bad! Honestly, I would say this is just a corporate strategy to hype buzz for the movie but that would require someone competent in charge to do! Davis Zaslav has done great harm to film and tv, inspiring other studios to start doing the same. In all honestly, it doesn't matter whether something truly is a masterpiece or utter shit. No one deserves to see this happen to their work and everything, whether good or bad, has fans out there, whether for genuinely loving the product or loving to hate it.
If you want to really stick it to WB, find a screening of Hundreds of Beavers. This is the closest I've seen to a live-action, feature length Looney Toons episode and it is phenomenal!

At this point, the only hope I see for Looney Tunes is the Day the Earth Blew Up, and I might just scream if that gets shelved as well. No matter what ends up happening, I just hope the movie gets released in some way without hurting any workers in the process. Hell, at least make it free if it becomes a tax write off. Being deleted and becoming permanent lost media just hurts.
