Great video...did you consider the popular alternative AXP plate? If so what made you decide in favor of the BDCW plate? Looks like the BDCW may be significantly heavier?
That’s a great question! We didn’t really consider them at the time but I’ve been running an AXP skid plate on my KTM 300 and I’m a huge fan. Def pros and cons of each but I do like the AXP a lot more than I thought.
The sides of the skid plate curve upwards around the oil screens so you would need to remove the bottom portion of the skid plate for oil changes. But it's quick to get that portion off.
