Pickup, mileage, interior space, boot space, dependability, brand value of HONDA JAZZ Vs Just interiors of HYUNDAI i20 and i20 wins??? I have seen auto car India giving the same kind of verdict which is being copied/followed here. Try to be yourself ZigWheels.... As the sales figures are going up month by month, Jazz is definitely the winner.

Still i20 is having the cons:
-> in Millage as compare to jazz gives 27+
-> Comfort Driving In Highways.
-> Power Delivery is good as compare i20 pickups only from 2500 rpm vs jazz picksup in 1500-2000rpm
-> i20 may wins only in Engine Sound, Since thats not issue in JAZZ since all the Diesel Engine Produces the Sound as not like in VW, Skoda, TATA.
-> Ample Space as you said, Big Boot space in this class, Great Look you never feel like ur driving hatch back car, ON TOP OF THAT RESALE-VALUE is MORE for all HONDA Brands.

elite i20 diesel engine not only refined but also very punchy compare to jazz and same thing apply on transmission try both cars in 2 gear and u feel the difference and i20 take 12 sec to 0-100 were jazz take 14 sec

we are buyng cars for travling comfort nt for the race so it dosnt matter whether it takes 14 or 16 sec...

When are Indian reviewers are going to talk about safety. Disgusting. IMO .... What about the elite i20's downgrading from 6 airbags to 2 and all disk to only front disk setup in elite i20? Honda is better in all aspects with EBD and 2 SRS airbags as a plus over Elite.. Interiors, Start stop and keyless entry is mere chutiyapa... I accept Honda's build quality has gone down recently but elite i20 just seems better in quality but it is same as Jazz... I agree on Jazz unsafe AC controls though.. But Jazz SV variant has got chunky AC nobs and doesn't loose on safety either Elite's MID is useless, No distance to empty, No average fuel economy.

honda diesel...does it really horrible in terms of nvh levels? I mean what you think does it really unacceptable & the nvh should be consider as deal breaker? some people says that it sounds very loud.
I love the jazz n want to buy idtech vx trim, please suggest me yaar.

No, the NVH levels aren't that high as diesel motors are more noisy than petrol motors . However, it is always advisable to take a test drive before you go for it for you will be able to identify whether the NVH levels are tolerable or not through a test drive.

get all the details right .... u can set auto lights on/off option in JAZZ , something it misses is just push start and key less entry which is fine as it not a big issue , U get a better product , space, looks and protection ( two air bags, ABS+ EBD) and yeah its powerful than i20 , also the gear box is better than i20 i donno how you found I20's better than Honda's ....all and all Jazz all the way .

hello sandeep. Power delivery is okie in city/highway. Though CVT lags in steep uphill drives. But engaging the S mode gives some respite to somehow cross the stretch. Rest CVT=much comfort as your one hand and one leg are free. so less fatigue.

Jazz offers a 14 inch Spare steel wheel in all variants, the other 4 tyres in V & VX variant are 15 inch, AC is not so powerful and the Thick A pillars causes blind spots in winding roads and during cornering in ghat sections. Whereas, i20 elite offers 16 inch spare steel wheel in top variants, AC is decent (compared to Maruti) and there is no A pillar issue..... These things too should have been discussed and included in the Review.
