All of ur reviews are spot on and really help people choose their car in a highly competitive market like India. But apart from car reviews, you can also introduce new video segments like mechanics, engines, and aesthetics ... I want a review on the various types of automatic cars available in India today... especially when transmission is concerned and many more cars are packing in the automatic element, that becomes a far more decisive factor while buying a car than just taking displacement or platforms on which the cars are built... I would definitely like one episode on types of transmissions like AMT, CVT, Dual Clutch transmisssions, their advantages and disadvantages and particularly, why there are less automatic versions in low cost diesel cars... let alone paddle shifters which gives an enthusiast that F1 gear shifting experience...waiting....

Probably the best hatchback... More mileage and power than elite i20 (diesel)...
owned sv diesel car and trust me fully satisfied. it's a great car,ride quality awesome,handsome mileage,stunning looks,strong built quality,I think best in this segment. completely happy with this car😃😃😃

hello everyone... I bought New Honda Jazz V CVT variant.. After lots of research, comparison and test drive of Honda Jazz, Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai i20.. I bought this car.
reasons for buying this car:
1. Great mileage in this segment
2. Lots and lots of space in this segment(including boot space)
3. Great Power compare to i20 and baleno
4. Smooth and comfortable while driving
5. Look wise- no one can beat this car
6. Paddle Shift function in this car is awsome..
7. AC is damn good. no need for rear AC vents like in i20.
8. No one can beat IVTEC engine... Best Engine ever..
I don't care about keyless entry and rear AC vents.
and trust me... I already owned hyundai santro, suzuki baleno, HOnda CIty, and right now I am having Grandi10 Sportz... among all.. HOnda provided me the best services, best performance, after sales service etc etc...
Go for HONDA JAZZ. this is the best car in this segment..

+dukes king In terms of power, Jazz is having more power among all three of them. I didn't felt that its lack power in pickup, whether it's automatic or manual transmission.And if you talk about the petrol version, it's the fact that diesel variant is always powerful than petrol variant in many of the cars. Believe me this car won't disappoint you. If you are planning to buy this car go for it. You will simply love it. And
I love Honda cars. I was having Honda City for 5 years, as I had already mentioned above... they provided me the best services, performance etc... well what to say... U can't ignore Honda once u own Honda cars.

dude. thanks for ur suggestion on this ...actually have alread booked one :) yes we love the spacing inside and the looks which is superb. yes power in terms of bhp also as u told is bit above than other hatchbacks in the category, but during test drive i felt th initial pick for say few seconds is slow only, there after it picks up well. so thats what i was thinking about, but i have not driven other hatchsbacks though....

hey I bought a new honda jazz ......i am having V ivtec cvt automatic variant .....this car is having 7 gears in both sport and drive mode!!
the paddle shifters are awesome...so guys who are asking that which car to take "polo or jazz' or "i20 or jazz".............sooo guys u should definitely buy honda jazz ......best car believe me !!!!

Honda's jazz designs are back to the basics.
First jazz design are more pretty design than the latest version. Fuel economy and cost are the fact need to consider for the latest jazz.

Good review Renuka, but im always piqued on why reviewers dont have a newer version of the car right beside the older version? I am sure in this case finding an Old Honda is not that difficult. Ust makes the comparison so much more easy?

After doing hell lot of research bet. jazz, elite i20 & baleno, I have selected jazz (Petrol SV model) despite of being the expensive amongst the lot. The car has super ride handling, decent features & lots n lots of space in cabin. But the problem is waiting period which in my case was 2 months. Trust me this car wont disappoint you. Its a pleasure to drive despite of gear shifts being a bit rough as compared to other 2. The engine comes alive in the mid range 50kms/hr & above. Thats when u will enjoy the ride quality. I fell the car is a bit under tyred but thats where the fuel efficiency comes in to picture for Honda. The magic seats are available only in top end variant. Overall an awesome package....:)

Honda seems to have got a winner here, average Indian user doesn't look for excellent drive ability, may be ride quality is considered which Jazz will deliver, people look for comfort and space for family purpose with good features. Magic seats is the USP, only if Honda improves the production capacity they can win the market in this segment as well.
Each other car in this segment hold an individual benefit but I believe with good pricing and less waiting period Jazz can dethrone Elite i20 and may come close to Swift.
please suggest out of honda jazz and VW polo...i am looking only in petrol

165mm. I drive Santro Xing which has 168mm, not much difference and no issue faced in 14yrs usage

which is better buy now.. hyundai elite i20 still top the charts with the amount of festures it is offering then the jazz.. like push button / smart key for keyless entry , rear ac , arm rest , 16 inch allow and much more refined diesel engine then jazz.. jazz accoridng to review is spacious and even on IAB it says that elite interior quality is much more better.. and now as i20 elite is coming out with AVN .. i feel i20 is better car

Givenhow they've priced the Mobilio, I think NOT. The sales numbers resonate in those lines too.
And why only the puny 1.2iVtec !? It could really do well providing the 1.5iVtec option to give us a hot hatch!
Else people who wanna mainly use it for daily commute to work will simply compare this with the Brio.
The iDtec isn't great, it's noisy & will take a while to prove itself as reliable as the 1.3MJD.

Akhil Karkhanis Let me give you a neutral answer. Do not go for Polo since the cost of maintenance is higher than the other 2.
i20 has a few things which are better such as rear AC vents, push button start, better music system. But comparing all of this to the features in the Honda, it doesn't come up as the best one.
I would say go for Jazz

Update. After buying the jazz (CVT) and using it for 2 weeks now, i would say its a really good car, shifts are really smooth, interiors are amazing, the music system was unexpectedly very good. The only drawback which I found was that it doesn't go upto the speeds that I want.
My suggestion would be, if you want speed go for Polo GT TSI (slightly higher maintenance and inferior interiors than Jazz)

got a chance to drive the all new Jazz petrol variant, and I must say it looks fantastic, has lots of space but was really disappointing when it came to performance. I stopped any further evaluation after I found that its really under-powered for the class it competes in as well as the price segment in which Honda has placed it, as the pick up is poor. Forget any quick movements in the traffic or even on highways. Its too clam for a car in its class.
The power of petrol engine in Jazz is much similar to the tiny Brio, pulling such a big body. My friends call this car Inzamam coz it finds running(fast) very uncomfortable.

Honda Jazz is a good car but unfortunately the sales part is bad as they sound very rude when asked for any additional accessories.Its like say this is what i have got take it or leave it. Apart from this since its manufactured in Maharashtra i heard customers get good offer there than other states in India is MH our of India.But Hyundai team goes ahead in customer satisfactions that's great. I was on my way to book a Jass today but i am now booking a Hyundai I 20 as i do not intend to support a company who shows such arrogance against there customers.

car suckss... 10 months old..... tyre burst 2 tyms.... avg 11.5km/l.... pickup is very low if we compare swift nd i20.... S variant 7 lakhs.... i dnt think so that car is worth buying in 7 lakh u had more options.... nd... according to reports.... last old jazz onky 5000 units were sale.... nd new honda only 3000 all over india... in 1.5 years....

+ANUJ GOYAL ARAI claimed is 19.0 kmpl for CVT and 18.7 kmpl for Manual versions in Petrol. Given that, you should be getting 15-16 kmpl in City and 17-18 Kmpl on highway.
