Let be honest if Disney didn’t buy 20th Century Fox, X-men 97 would’ve never happened.
He is right, if you can't get as much of the original elements back, it's hard to consider it a continuation. The song being the most important part.
Thankfully, Eric and Julia Lewald, the original showrunners, returned, as did producer/director Larry Houston. The executive had some ideas after the MCU’s popularity on Disney+ took off and then crashed.

Well based on the timeline that would make sense, think about black panther one when tchaka found his brother in America, he was in charge, and that was close to the years of the animated series, so it actually makes sense to not have his son having taken over the role of Bp yet

i love how quiet the grifters & rage-baiters have been about x-men '97 'cause it completely destroys their whole "get woke go broke" narrative - i've actually seen some of them coping by saying the show isn't actually woke at all 🤣
At least one member of the OG cast DIDN’T come back, though. Jubilee’s voice actress tossed her role due to wokeness.
No, she did in fact return in episode 4, she literally voices the older jubilee around the end point of the episode where she fights mojo with our jubilee. As far as not returning to voice jubilee all together though, It’s a bit disappointing but I’m okay with the reasoning for it? She wanted someone asian to voice an asian character. Me personally, I can careless what your skin color/ethnicity is when voicing these characters, as long as you sound good and give a good performance I’m game, however I don’t see no harm in her reasoning for not staying as jubilee.
Wokeness isn’t accuracy
Wokeness is an agenda, which jubilee never defined herself as Chinese, or said it’s important to who she is, or anything, it’s literally by definition not woke 😂😂😂

Woke requires an agenda being pushed, not a narrative that there is one 🤣
Here’s an example, Kennedy belives the force is female, then she makes decisions to do this in the show, makes all male characters look incapable compared to her, she how that’s a person putting their agenda into it, a Chinese voice actor voicing a Chinese character isn’t woke my guy, that’s just a casting, and if she can sound good and do the role, why does it matter?

It was a great series...Just disappointing how they treated TCHALLA...This is a disrespect to the fans of TCHALLA...We all know he should be there...Recast TChalla live on
Timeline wise tchalla hasn’t taken the role of king or black panther yet, so it’s actually accurate to be tchaka, but I do agree with the recast, it was the guys wish if he couldn’t play the role, they should’ve honored his wish for the character to be recasted
