If you notice for the Children of Vistula area in the 476 start date there is Lech, Čech, and Rus. Who are supposedly the founders of Poland, Czechia, and Russia.
Thank you for featuring our mod! It's really great seeing how the mod has come together over the years through the efforts of a lot of developers, researchers, artists, musicians, and more who are quite passionate about the lesser known but consequential and fascinating period in history that is Late Antiquity. There's a lot of random little details some of our devs/researchers put in I'm sure only a handful of people in the world would get lol. For those interested in other areas with a lot of flavor besides Rome, Persia, and Britain which were the main highlights in the video, I would also recommend looking into India (especially northern India as it has its own struggle), Illyria in 476 (Julius Nepos flavor), the Slavs and their migrations, the steppes particularly the Rouran in 395 or the Gokturks in 532, and anywhere in the Silk Road and Tarim Basin especially the Eastern Chinese part of the map in 395. And, as the creator of RICE, I also can't go without advertising RICE since it's 100% compatible with TFE so you can also tack on RICE for additional flavor for a lot of regions.
Oh I didn't even realize RICE And TFE were compatible!! Thanks to you and the team for doing such phenomenal work. Do you have somewhere people can support you like a patreon?
@@RagumeatsauceYeah, playing Belisarius rn is just super weird. You essentially wait around before you get your titles revoked, legitimacy destroyed, and sent off to fight the Vandals or Lombards
@@randomelite4562 Yeah, I’m hoping that with Roads to Power we can have it so he doesn’t have to keep title-hopping and can just be, well… a general 😅 so there will be more liberty to do what you want and less restrictions around having to keep the player assigned to a title. Hopefully that will be a bit closer to my original concept that I had when framing the events.
This mod is gonna go crazy when the new expansion comes out and gets its features integrated. For example, as the Emperor you can direct a governor to make war on an enemy, and you can order other governors to lend their troops to the effort. They could use that system for Belisarius and not need to script things so heavily.

Probably most polished from all historical overhauls. A pitty Ave Maria mod didn't get there. Irony of this game atm is that if someone wants to play historical mod in actual high medieval timeframe, a collection of dozens of different mods is needed.

Such a gigantic mod i love it. I was pleasantly surprised to see Lech Czech and Rus - the legendary founders of northern slavic countries - as playable characters for children of vistula bookmark.
