that bass player is peaking
I wonder who they are and how they're doing
@@zachsmith3 they're dead
@@franciscopartida4167 Wow the mood just dropped right there 😂
@@franciscopartida4167 If that’s true, they died knowing they did this bass line and that is a life well spent
For real. You don't hear people writing walking bass lines anymore.
50 years later this song lives on and on
I walked down aisle to this song on my wedding day.
Best Disney movie ever. This song plays in my head at least once a week since the very early 90s. My childhood
Just heard this in an Amazon commercial and had to look it up. I dig it.
It was also in the 2009 film Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Me too and I had to find it!
Same. I was just lying in bed watching Criminal Minds and that Amazon commercial came on.
Big same
Same! I couldn't place it, but it was very familiar. Looked up the lyrics, then found it. Cute movie, too.
I definitely want this played at my wedding! ♥️♥️♥️
I went down the aisle to this on my wedding, 7/18/2020. We also had “Someday My Prince Will Come” from Snow White and “So this is Love” from Cinderella. There was at least two others I can’t remember.
@@cmndrkool321 How memorably romantic! 🤩
@@cmndrkool321 be blessed
@@simonvollenweider2530 Thank you! You as well 🙂
Thank you

It seems like only yesterday
You were just a child at play
Now you're all grown up insight of me
Oh, how fast those moments flee
Once we watched a lazy world go by
Now the days seem to fly
Life is brief, but when it's gone
Love goes on and on
Love will live
Love will last
Love goes on and on and on
Once we watched a lazy world go by
Now the days seem to fly
Life is brief, but when it's gone
Love goes on and on
insight of me ;)
@brad6742 Lmao I was looking for it!! I listened to that & was like 😌😳 wait, what? Lol
Happy 50th Anniversary Robin Hood 1973
Once we watched the lazy world go by.
Now the days seem to fly.
Life is brief,
but when it's gone
love goes on and on
So live life to the fullest with the love of your life
Who’s here after the Amazon commercial?
It was also in the 2009 film Fantastic Mr. Fox.
"good job Ash, remember to keep your tail tucked."
This is such a lovely love song, through n' through.
The french version is also very sad, if we translate it's called "Yesterday, two kids" "We were just a child at play" is translate by something "two new hearts at their spring time", the rest of the song is "unlighting my sky like a sun it gives birth to wonders, if the days must have passed, I din't forget, and I know this love can last forever, beautiful love
sweet love, you will always follow me" ❤
This song is the Best in the Robin Hood soundtrack. A real relaxing song, So beautiful to listen, I feel like I'm in Disneyland at Night hearing it.
This song is timeless and will never ever age. The message is relevant to us all. "Seems like only yesterday, just a child at play, now you're all grown up, how fast those moments flee ect. Live life to the fullest like every moment is your last
I always felt like “grown up inside of me” was an odd lyric though. Besides the obvious lewd joke, what does that mean??
@mj6962 the lyrics are speaking to their inner child
0:00 Maid Marian: Oh, Robin what a beautiful night. I wish it could never end.
Seems like the 70s love songs are so romantic. And I grew up in the 90s-00s
Sigh…
I wish my life was like a Disney movie sometimes.
Don't we all.
Gotta love the Disney it used to be
Disney used to genuinely have a magical feel, as if they made the magic in their films really come to life. Now they're just a cash grab and that magic is dead. And the only way we can get even a slight feeling of what they used to be is in masterpieces like this. 😢
@@FennixGamingYT Aw man, definitely.
got to know my first girlfriend with music like this haha
Even my cat likes this ballad💖🎵
This makes me cry
This song is romantic and beautiful. Very peaceful with a loved one hehe c:
Oh my god, I wasn’t expecting it to appear in that commercial, I honestly am in tears.
It was also in the 2009 film Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Indeed it is, I was just telling my parents that while watching the game.
Ahhh...my childhood memories ♥️♥️
Does anyone think Karen Carpenter could have sung this, and who wants to hear Lea Salonga, or Idina Menzel sing this?
Karen carpenter should have sung this. And Lea salonga has an amazing voice
I never cared for idina menzel
I’m getting major Karen Carpenter vibes from this.
No Idina! Definitely Karen C. But there’s something beautifully soothing about this woman’s voice.
This one of my favorite Disney tracks, the Latino version of the song is also wonderfully done
Oh so beautiful romance thank you 💋💗❤
Love goes on and on
Good jump, Ash. Remember to keep your tail tucked. Still painting thunderstorms, I see.
Looks like so this is love ain't the only romantic song used at weddings 🥰🥰🥰
One of the best love songs from a Disney cartoon
Beautiful Robin hood marion 💘💗❤
Just used this as our 25th anniversary song. This song rings true for all of us. The movie is so good and reminds me of childhood.
*_'Now you're all grown up, inside of me.'_* 👀
Disney used to genuinely have a magical feel, as if they made the magic in their films really come to life. Now they're just a cash grab and that magic is dead. And the only way we can get even a slight feeling of what they used to be is in masterpieces like this. 😢
Yeah I think that point is partially why this song makes me quite sad deep down too. Knowing the days of quality nostalgic magic feeling disney movies are practically over
What’s crazy is that this song was used in a Wes Anderson movie.
Which one? I got to know now lol.
@@reuellucas7187 Fantastic Mr. Fox
@@cooperwolfe5478 that's ironic especially both are in Disney+

Beautiful.
This song would be used a lot in TikTok, something tells me so

Nah he had hiss.
This is one of my shower songs
Imagine if Karen carpenter sang this

I came here after hearing Tennis’s song Robin.
But does anyone know who this is? I mean, who is singing?
Nancy Adams
This song could've been perfect for Smooth Jazz radio.
YESSS I FOUND ITTTT
I thought this was the song I've been hearing on this one current commercial.
Amazon took me to this song.
My summer of 2010, 2007, and 2002 in a nutshell
Reminds Me Time With My Grilfriend in The Moon light
Lrycs, please
I think this part of the movie was when the furry part of me started to develop
I think the reason this movie in particular is common for that is that while other Disney movies have anthropomorphic animals, this is one of the few where every character seems like a real person. Rather than just a fantasy character, I mean. It's a lot more "grounded" while still being about talking animals.
@@allenholloway5109 yeah, just to demonstrate the power, my mom once expressed a negative take of the idea of furries when she learned why they were selling animal costumes for adults at the store, but later she admitted to having a massive crush on Ribbon Hood as a kid. She still says this is the best film version in her opinion. 😂
@@MonaLisa-zz5cv And for me, Maid Marian was pretty. (And this is when I was young enough where I had absolutely no sexual attraction to anything, period. Just a vague "that is a mom-like entity.") And there was a long period when I knew about furries, but never really connected "thinking of animals like people" to Disney products like Robin Hood at all. Because it was so natural to do so there.
@@allenholloway5109 yeah same for me.
where is robin’s version?
This needs to play if Mike and Eleven have a wedding in Stranger Things. They should ask Disney for permission!
Lol
Does anyone have bass tabs for this?
This song also works well with the Japanese cover in my opinion.
name?
@@truiteteam3428 for the song or the movie?
@@Eohll japanease cover title ? :P
@@truiteteam3428 honestly I don't know but I can guessed who singed this song is same Japanese VA for Maid Marian.
what genre is this?
It’s just 70s singer-songwriter pop.
What if this song was taken from the original soundtrack of The Little Mermaid (1989), even though it takes up too much space and there's not enough space to go around?
No
@@Ayumuobsessed Not enough space to fit inside a Disney animated film.
Isn’t the lyric “Now you’re all grown up inside of me” a tad bit suggestive?
Yes
I think it’s “insight of me” lol
