    We love Machrie Moor and it's stones. people often ask what would you go and see if you had a time machine. Go and see the stones being built and used is my answer. Thanks for sharing and both of you are well.

    • @roaminginraymond
      @roaminginraymond  6 місяців тому +3

      Gotta agree. It would be amazing to see first hand how they were built, why they were built, and how they were used. And also what the landscape looked like back then too.

    Fascinating seeing those groups of stones in the wilderness Helen. Like David said, i think standing at a place where someone stood several thousand years ago, is why i love this stuff.

    I’m sure standing stones in there day would have been very important, the locals would have borrowed most of them, so they don’t make much sense to us now.

    • @roaminginraymond
      @roaminginraymond  6 місяців тому +1

      You're welcome Mary and I agree, they are mystical and magical and located in such beautiful places too. The surroundings will have changed from 4000 years ago, but the mountains and the sea will still be where they were then.
