I love my rugged obsidian so if the oculouse is antything like that its definitely my next rimfire can i would never buy another can made of aluminum there is no way to clean them I'll take the extra weight over ease of cleaning any day.
@lakesidearmory what I have learned with my obsidian 45. Running it in the K size but greasing the 3rd baffle with Vaseline gets it within 2-3 DB of the full size configuration. Considering 22lr burns much cooler you don't burn off the Vaseline very fast and get to run it in K with an almost indistinguishable difference from the full length. I have a liberty regulator for 22lr (monocore) and when I put grease in it I get 50 rounds before it's burnt off. With my obsidian 45 I get 12 9mm or 8 45acp before it burns it off.

Yes, those were my thoughts exactly. Although the Q would be a great choice for a pistol because of the weight. Rifle I would go oculus all the way
