I used three or four, staple, throw away working mens club lines, in the whole 22 minute set, one in the intro about the mic stand, and why wouldn’t I? I’ve been a workingmens club comedian for thirty six years, I said that in my set. Everything else I wrote and put together two weeks before the gig, including a poem about poverty in this country, called “The other side of comfy”, which I did as an encore and which saw large sections of the audience give me a standing ovation for. It’s on Twitter on the comedy Unleashed page, but they didn’t put that on their UA-cam channel. Peace always…
