Great looking Power Wagon...cept it has the wrong engine emblem on it...should be a V0, not a V8, slightly missing a very important piece of it HAHA!! Someone's been doing some very nice work on that one, looks awesome.
I have a bunch of LED lights I bought to attach to the ladder rack on my 2011 Ranger supercab. I deliver pizza and some of the rural driveways I drive on are very hard to see when I back out.
Check out the OPT7 48" Redline Triple LED Tailgate Light Bar I am posting a link to in this comment. It is what I plan to use on van build cause Auxbeam no longer makes the one on my ranger. amzn.to/3kxzNYQ
"The whada ya want stupid look"...so that's what that look is called HAHA!!! John wasn't even there and I could just envision that look from him LOL...I think just about every kid has some form or another of that same look it just varies.
Just saw the video. I just installed my badland 2500 winch to my backrack. I am getting ready to run the wire to my trucks battery. I was going to leave the reciever under the hood so it wouldn't get wet because it has 20 foot range and says do not let get wet, are you saying it probably wont work if under the hood in the engine bay? If so where do you reccomend I install it where it will work without getting wet? 2013 Silverado 1500 long box. Thanks. ua-cam.com/video/F-D-fD4WctQ/v-deo.html
It will not transmit threw metal but will go threw glass. I would mount it in the back window of the truck. As I point out in the video you need line of sight.
@@redneckcomputergeek That's what I figured. That just made things more complicated, because I was originally just going to run the wires straight down between the bed and cab, down the bottom along the frame rail under the cab straight into the engine bay to the battery from underneath without having to go into the cab. Your video came out just in time, I was just getting ready to finish that install, it saved me from having to re-wire over again. If I don't go into the cab, I'll figure out another spot, too bad that box isn't waterproof or doesn't transmit better. Maybe I can make the box more waterproof and just bolt it right by the winch, I'll figure something out. Thanks for the reply.
That is an idea. You could go over all the seams on the box and rtv the wire out areas. then mount the box in the corner of the headache bar on a metal plate. In the corner where the crane is on my truck.
@@redneckcomputergeek I was using my winch today to pull a tractor up into the bed of my truck and about halfway in, it just cut out on me, stopped pulling. After that it would not pull, it was just making clicking sounds in the control box, just like a bad solenoid on a lawn tractor does, click, click, click. I had to run a jump pack directly to the posts on the winch to finish pulling it in. After that, I hooked the box back up and it was working again. Any idea what would cause that, is it possible that control box is faulty? I still have time to take it back and exchange it if it is, but I don't know for sure thats what it is, but thats where an issue appeared. The box is hooked directly to my trucks battery, it had plenty of juice, because the vehicle started just fine afterwards...

Hope you get feel better soon
Living in the Rust Belt can definitely suck, only difference is here in Ontario we don’t have annual inspections.
