Agree! Less distracting and tempting to read the English. Also, the fact that it’s yellow makes it slightly harder to read, and I’m more drawn to reading the German! I really enjoy these videos. My German teacher recommended it to me.
Most immigrants into my country say they learned English through sit coms, watching reruns. The series is outdated but so useful and fun to learn with. I watched first only watching the english subtitles then just the German. Then I slow the video down slightly and try and say the lines with them. Most people get the listening and the reading and writing but the spoken is harder to master, this is how you do it! Thank you so much for posting on your channel!

Yes you can watch Türkisch für Anfänger on youtube it also has english subtitles except for the 1 and 2 episode other episodes all have the subtitles in English.
