This is great. Thank you. It’s the most fun way to learn Spanish that I have found yet! I just wanted to mention that divertida does relate to the English word “divert.” One of the definitions of divert is “to entertain or amuse.” It’s a little old fashioned, but in historical English books, people find things “diverting” all the time. I like that the two words are connected.

I don't know why, but I love watching this kind of channels teaching Spanish to English speakers/foreigners. I'm Mexican and I completely adore my mother tongue, which is Spanish, of course, so if you have any question or wanna ask for a tip on whatever, just tell me in this comment so I can help you learn my beautiful language.
    *Some extra tips*
The word "bochornoso" does mean "embarrassing" and does mean "muggy", but the word "bochorno" itsel can mean "embarrassment" or also "muggy weather", "muggy heat (wave)" and even "summer muggy air current".
    Examples with "bochornoso":
    1. Ayer viví un momento muy bochornoso cuando tuve una caída sobre un charco de lodo que me manchó la cara y la ropa. Toda la escuela se burló de mí (It was extremely embarrassing when I fell down on a mud puddle staining my face and all my clothes. Everybody laughed at me in the school that day).
    2. Ayer estuvo superbochornoso el día, y para sobrellevarlo necesité un baño con agua helada y un refresco con hielo para refrescar mi calor (Yesterday was a very muggy day, so I took an ice-cold-water bath and drank a cold soda for refreshing myself).
    Examples with "bochorno":
    1. ¡¿Para qué me hiciste pedirle su número a la persona que me gusta?! ¡Cuando todos me oyeron pedírselo y comenzaron a reír me entró un bochorno ingente! (Why did you get me ask my crush for his phone number?! When everybody heard me aking for it and started laughing I felt like dying of embarrassment!).
    2. ¡Este bochorno es insoportable! ¡Estoy sudando por todas partes! (This muggy heat is insane! Every inch of me is sweating!).
    3. Los bochornos llegan desde el sur, dirección en la que se encuentra el desierto de Sonora, razón por la cual pegan tan fuerte y hace tanto calor aquí en verano (Summer muggy air currents arrive from the south, which is the direction the Sonoran desert is located in, so this is why we feel it so hard and it is so hot here in the summer).
The pronouciation of this two words can be kind of tricky (as well as the one of another words having "rn").
Some speakers pronounce the "r" in "rn" sofly, but this is more difficult than pronouncing "rn" rolling the "r" instead of pronouncing it softly (I'm a native Spanish speaker and I pronounce "rn" with rolled "r" allways).
    For example:
-Ca*rn*e: /karne/ instead of /kaɾne/ (for those who don't know IPA, most of us pronounce "carrrrne" with rolled "r" instead of "carne" with soft "r").
-E*nr*rique: /enrike/ instead of /enɾike/ (we ALLWAYS pronounce "nr" with rolled "r", it was just an example that it doesn't matter if the "r" is either before or after the "n", you shall pronounce it "rrrrr" (/r/ in IPA).
The construction "quedar como" means "to end up as", "to end up being" (remember that "quedar" doesn't have an English translation).
If you have any question, I'm here to help you pleasedly!

No está mal. Es que el español al ser hablado en tantos países similares muchas palabras no tienen el mismo contexto y depende de cual español se guíen para traducir.
Por ejemplo, en donde vivo bochorno nunca se usa para referirse a algo del clima o el calor, siempre es usado tanto como bochornoso para situaciones que te dan vergüenza.
Es lo que mismo que el ingles americano y británico que una misma cosa se dice distinto o tienen otro significado.

-¿Cómo es que pasó? (Can't believe something like that happened! But please tell me how it happened because I need to know now!)

After watching this, I was really hoping that my digital version of this series contained Spanish audio but it unfortunately doesn't. I find this much easier to understand than native spanish programming since the speed is much closer to English. What's also interesting about videos like these is how often you hear the same vocabulary over and over again. What I struggle with most at the moment is recognizing what tenses are used and the prepositions.

Omg, I absolutely LOVE this! It's been bugging me for a while now that there are no Spanish channels on TV that have English subtitles, because if there were, many English only speaking Americans would have a more natural, almost mindless opportunity to learn. Just watch it before bed every night, and you WILL absorb SOMETHING. Children's shows especially, so any parent that chose to have their child watch, even just for half an hour a day, 5 days a week, would give their child a nice headstart. I honestly don't know why it hasn't occurred to me to come to UA-cam for this. I will be an avid watcher of your channel from now on. Thank you so much!

I do wish that the laugh track was more quiet, as it sometimes is louder than the dialogue. I realize that this is out of the creator's control. I never noticed how loud the laugh tracks were until now. Often when we're watching TV, we barely even notice the laugh tracks at all.
