@@motorinc yes keep it as a pill box in the right left bottom and keep the contents scrolling up inside it if you want but the bottom banner is a NONO for sure. I've come across a couple of reviews from youtubers from UK and US which appear to favour the stiffer chassis and suspension on Shotgun. Must be the difference in infrastructure. Glad that Motorinc exists to give a clear perspective on how vehicles behave on Indian roads and conditions! Thank you 😊
Owner of the Shotgun 650, few things i would like to mention. Firstly, the suspensions are good if you have good roads in your city. You can adjust the rear to soft if you want but they work nicely if you like to cruise on the highways(atleast for me) and provide better stability and confidence. Also if you dont want to changes suspension then just the ride the bike as the suspension will get adjusted by themselves after few thousand kilometers. Shotgun shares the chasis with SM650 but they provide really different riding feel. SM650 provides very calm riding experience and shotgun on the other hand is sporty. Ridden all RE 650, personally i felt Shotgun has the best of the handling, even better then GT 650 because as soon as you start pulling speed on the GT the front gets lighter as I experienced it during the test rides multiple times. The looks are smashingly good and people will turn heads when you ride past them or stop at the traffic light or in the parking. Its a big bike and it does weight 240kg but as soon as you are on the get go it becomes nimble. It leans and corners really well. Mileage depends on your way of riding and maintenance of the bike(tyre pressure/chain condition etc). I got 25 to 26 KMPL in city and on highway i got 33KMPL even when i was riding between 80 to 120KMPH. The place where shotgun has issues is the tyres. As good as they are on the dry condition they are bad in the wet. Gravels on the road also creates problem with the grip of tyres. Thanks to Shumi for inspiring confidence to me to get test rides of the bikes as I used to feel nervous to walk into the showroom itself. It was because of his words that I went upto to RE to experience their 650. Today i test ride any bike i can get my hands on thanks to him for this. Please go to showroom, take test rides and decide for yourself what you would like to own. I have waited for 2 years to own this amazinnnnngg gooood lookking ever since i first saw it on the Gagan's video of EICMA. So my review might feel little biased. One more thing RE engines get smoother with the services so you will feel the changes after the services are done.

This bike might not belong to the bigger segment you often explore, but it’s a marvel in its own right. Its refined engine, impressive mileage, and modern features make it stand out in the commuter segment. Hello, fellow shotgun rider here. Did you have any issue with the stock tyre grip? I use recommended tyre pressure. But my bike skids a little while breaking in slightly sandy roads.

A suggestion to the editors, the bottom bar animation is very distracting and borderline annoying. Perhaps its better to keep it static and slightly smaller but present throughout the video without any animations so that it doesnt crop into the actual footage and not feel intrusive or distracting.
Hey Guys, Great video! I do have a criticism though: Could be just me, but the repeated banner at the bottom of the screen for the new app can get in the way of the video watching experience that you all clearly worked so hard on. I have the app myself too, but still it is distracting. Wishing the best for future videos! Thanks
The banner at the bottom is really distracting and makes the video less engaging to watch, please trim it down as much as possible. Cosider it as constructive criticism for us who watch it on youtube for that big screen experience on a PC/TV.
The ad banner is too intrusive. I found myself clicking away from the video, even though the topic is very interesting to me. I would suggest , making it less intrusive and be visible when there is no information being presented on camera. I really enjoy your format and style of videos, this however is not a constructive way to promote the app.
Feedback: The banners are waayyy too intrusive into the excellent videography and editing the review has. The frequency of the banner showing up also intrude into the video watching experience in a negative way. It had made the video less about the review and more like an annoying ad. I bought the a year's subscription since your videos set the benchmark for automotive reviews in India and abroad. But this is so annoying that I believe it would actively irritate and dissuade people from checking out the app.
It was a tough battle to constantly ignore the huge bottom banner throughout the video. Very off-putting and distracting while wanting to focus on the video. Please do something about it. Thanks!
The bottom banner is horrible. It’s distracting. Also kills the vibe and aesthetic of the video’s colour palette. I suggest keep the banner static and change the aspect ratio so that the banner doesn’t cover the videos.
One more short and crisp review from motorinc 👏👏👏 . One request.....If anytime shumi gets a chance to ride after market suspension of super metor 650 with yss or any other suspension brand...... plz share his experience in a short video
Hey Team MotorInc, I highly think you should make a video on helmet of different companies with different certifications. What would happen when one purchases a helmet of top company of lower certification as opposed to low company of higher certification.
Roads in Belgium ( and I here in the UK too) are getting terrible . I ve ridden my Shotgun 4500 km on all kinds of roads, also bad ones. I cannot complain about a thing concerning this bike. Would not change a thing. I am almost riding 40 years with all kind of bikes. My GT is the first bike I could NOT sell because it such a charm, so it has the shotgun as a sister now. Two amazing bikes and me, I have injured my neck 37 years ago. Some nerves are completely gone, so I have no feeling in my fingers. 37 years I have a lot of pain and still I think the Shotgun is a fabulous machine with lots of comfort. Just ride it and find out.
I took a test ride some months back and didn't find it uncomfortable. Probably was not paying enough attention, but if it is not obviously uncomfortable then I think that is an OK price to pay for such a smashing bike.
Arguably one of the best looking bikes from RE. However, the annoyingly stiff rear suspension asks too much for a compromise for the looks. As a highway tourer, I'd personally gravitate towards the Interceptor 650, obviously with the alloys. 😅
For the love of God, stop it with the banner ad for your app in the bottom of the video. Yes we get it. You want us to check out your app. But this is getting real annoying.
@0:40, @0:45, wow. Showing the compared bikes on screen is making so much sense now. Thanks for considering and implementing the feedback! While this is one @1:28 is one step better!! Wonderful short video! 👍
I have owned a Shotgun 650 since June 2024, and here are some things I have changed. 1. The Mirrors are horrible, replace them with Barend mirrors. 2. The footrests are quite uncomfortable, I replaced them with the Deluxe footpegs, which are amazing. 3. The headlight is weak, so I installed RE Foglamps. Either way, the bike is amazing and definitely an eye-catcher. The Suspension is definitely stiff, and the fuel meter is not at all accurate.
Thanks @kevindcruz5283, by deluxe footpegs, do you mean ones from the Super Meteor 650? 🤔 Also, are all of these RE accessories or did you try different brands?
Hey !!!! Shumi, gotta say, I love your reviews-the way you break things down with just the right amount of sarcasm and humor, it’s pure gold! That aside, I’ve been curious-what kinda shoes are you rocking in all your ride reviews? 👟
It's very annoying to see the bottom banners continuously bombarding which is hindering the experience of understanding the product. Please take it as an honest feedback! Cheers
Shumi when you review the classic 650 please let us know what are the options to swap it's suspension with. I'm sure the stock one is as bad as not so super meteor.
Hi Schumi, Shotgun Rear Shocks aren't that hard as you have said. SC Team says they will soften after riding 2 to 3000 KM. Secondly RE has changed tyre pressure for Shotgun and SM650. It is 41 in front and 36 at Rear. This was displayed in the SC at Thane, Maharashtra.
Great view as always. Btw I adjusted the rear preload of my hunter 350 from maximum which was 5 to 2 ,so now its not jarring and became a bit more smooth .It may work on shotgun too . Hope it helps.
Can you try a video on topic of headlights on sub 500 cc bikes being meh and what are the ones that are doing a good job at what a headlight is for? Just writing this because most of the bikes today under 500cc dont have a good headlight. Hope this topic makes it in a video!
some people changed the handlebar with super meteors bars onto shotgun, it makes it more comfortable for our back…….if i buys it, id change the seat too, changing suspension will be costly and i dont ride long
Hi Motorinc team Great information as usual. Would like to share my experience. After I saw your T4 video, I’m more inclined towards buying T4 rather than speed 400. You may wonder why I am posting this on RE video. Well, recently I spotted RE Scram 440 and couldn’t help myself but take a test drive. Ride quality has been exponentially improved and I loved the way it connected to me. And indeed it has a big bike feel compared to Triumph speed T4. Now I am confused between Speed T4 and Scram 440. Would love to hear your suggestions and it would be helpful if you guys can make a complete review video on Scram 440. I am currently residing in Bengaluru and mostly I use my vehicle for commuting and occasional coffee ride.
@@motorinc Thanks for the reply. Looking forward for an unbiased review video as usual from your end. Coming to your query, I have listed them below as a subjective opinion. Kindly note that I have ridden this vehicle only in horrendous traffic so I do not have much idea about highway touring. 1- It gave me a big bike feeling. 2- Pillion had a bigger room to adjust and more comfortable 3- Felt more connected with the bike than with T4 4- My father drives classic 350 so leaning towards brand loyalty I might plan on taking the bike on rent and riding it more to jot down more points and come to the conclusion before buying. I am open to suggestions and would definitely consider your opinions.
Hi eventhough i know what the answers are gonna be, i would like to know why jawa yezdi bikes are not recommended more, cos i love the way the yezdi scrambler looks
I don't understand why the exhaust flares out of the line of the motorcycle, creating a half opened wing like appearance. Often, you'd find hitting and scratching the exhaust with other vehicles or walls in case of narrow passages you take for shortcuts. It should have been further neatly tucked to the rear side alongside the shock absorbers or make something like the super meteor.
I am curious why Motor inc does so many reviews of the Royal Enfield bikes when in general they dont like any of their bikes except the Himalayan 450 It would be nice if they focus more on the other options in the 400-800 cc segment in india.
Hey Mahesh! Please do check the channel, we have stories on almost all of the bikes already. And as to whether we like them or not - there's no way to tell until you test them, right?
@motorinc valid point. Have been following your channel for over a year and like the content there. However, i feel the channel is more focused on the single cylinder bikes till the 400-450cc range. It would be good to see more content on the middle weight section covering the twin and triple cylinder bikes in the 650 to 900 cc range. It would really help people having a 400cc 40hp bike who are looking to upgrade.
am looking to upgrade to the shortgun from my og dominar 400, need suggestions on options available for upgrading the rear suspension. i have zero knowledge on modification or upgrading, my 2017 dominar is still as stock as it could be, please suggest
Hey Motorinc! It is still not clear when the Android app will be out, are there any updates... (we feel almost like a broken record asking about the Android app but there is never any clarity)
Hey! Just wanted to know if the Pulsar N150 is a solid option for me. I'm a beginner, and I want a bike that's smooth, refined, very easy to use, has good fuel efficiency, comfortable suspension setup & can also be a fun bike to enjoy when needed!
Hi, Shumi! I'm going to buy my first bike. The only bike I've extensively ridden is my father's HH Splendor+. So I'm looking for a reliable and comfortable 150-200cc bike. The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V at 1.11L (ex-sh. Delhi, single disc with ABS) seems like a good deal right now. Your thoughts? Should I go ahead with it or spend a little more and look at Apaches and Pulsars?
Hi team i have a conundrum in my mind, about which tyre to get for my 390 adv, metz or apollo trampler or reise. What do you guys recommend? Please let me know thanks......will apollo and reise give me that confidence as metz?
Apollo is a good value for money I also recently got those i only ride on asphalt But if you are looking for more performance especially off-road then be sure to check out something else
@ontheroad8149 i have driven it for around 1300km. For first 800 km it was giving a mileage of around 35kmpl. Now it is giving a mileage of around 25kmpl.
Get your timings/ spark/ fuel/ air systems checked. The 650s have a tendency to start misfiring very subtly which reduces mileage but isn't noticable enough in normal riding conditions.
Why does RE have so many models? Do they keep making them after two years? Would people who buy these models have proper factory support after models are discontinued?
Fellow riders, i just purchased a helmet, the SMK typhoon, it is ISI and ECE 22.06 rated. It cost 5250 rupees, is it good enough for the time being? I'm a student and I can't afford some of the premium brands like AGV Shoei Arai etc. I will however buy more expensive gear once i start earning
You don't need expensive gear. You need safe gear. The expensive helmets usually have higher quality materials and comfort. But if the safety rating is same then get what you can afford
As per my understanding of you, Shumi, the latest two avatars of the 650 are only better in rear suspension compared to these two disasters. Are they still also disasters in their own right?
Hey...I am 6'3" and thinking about buying my first bike...been riding 100-150cc segments since 17...What beginner yet sit in for a long time bikes are recommended for people who are tall like me?
I don't know Shumi what's wrong with RE. I yet again saw another short the other day wherein I saw latest edition of RE roadster silencer fell off. I've never ever heard or seen any other bike silencer fall off. Once I myself witnessed it, and it got recorded in my video log. I mean these guys in RE cannot be depended upon for sure. I'll never never never never × buy a RE. And no one should. A manufacturer who cannot make a silencer stay in place, doesn't deserve to make bikes at first place.

@motorinc hope you get it soon!! 🤞🏼 I've been waiting for your final verdict on RE350 vs CB350 😄

Love it
Naturals has one of the best Chilli Ice creams here in Bengaluru
🤜🏽🤛🏽
The design is just wow. Lovely bike. The buttons are hard to reach
Thanks for sharing your take!
Can you try a video on topic of headlights on sub 500 cc bikes being meh and what are the ones that are doing a good job at what a headlight is for? Just writing this because most of the bikes today under 500cc dont have a good headlight. Hope this topic makes it in a video!
Still waiting for this topic, appreciate the channel on the topics covered! 👍
some people changed the handlebar with super meteors bars onto shotgun, it makes it more comfortable for our back…….if i buys it, id change the seat too, changing suspension will be costly and i dont ride long
I came very close to buying this and then ended up with a H450. This bike looks very big and muscular on the streets though.
Hi Motorinc team
Great information as usual.
Request noted @SiddharthRIyer, we assume that you've test ridden the T4 as well? In what ways was the 440 better than it for you?

Thanks for the reply. Looking forward for an unbiased review video as usual from your end. Coming to your query, I have listed them below as a subjective opinion. Kindly note that I have ridden this vehicle only in horrendous traffic so I do not have much idea about highway touring.
1- It gave me a big bike feeling.
2- Pillion had a bigger room to adjust and more comfortable
3- Felt more connected with the bike than with T4
4- My father drives classic 350 so leaning towards brand loyalty
I might plan on taking the bike on rent and riding it more to jot down more points and come to the conclusion before buying.
I am curious why Motor inc does so many reviews of the Royal Enfield bikes when in general they dont like any of their bikes except the Himalayan 450
It would be nice if they focus more on the other options in the 400-800 cc segment in india.
@@maheshsri Feedback noted!
Pls review the 6E 🙏 🙏
Could you please make a short video on bear 650
Please cover xtream 205 r and the rest of the lineup
May i ask for a disconnect episode on formats of motorcycle & cars and their use case? 😊
Request noted!
Hi guys! Not related to the video, but why did you guys not cover the Auto Expo? What's your reasoning behind the decision?
We prefer to talk about vehicles that are on sale, have prices and you can actually buy, DS, that's all
Waiting for Škoda Kylaq review
Not allowed to drive till now😊
Thanks for waiting @vipulnair282! 😊
Please make a detailed video on the new RE Scram 440! its very confusing
Noted @YourPetalParadise!
Can you please tell which suspension (aftermarket) we can opt for supermeteor. TIA 🙏✌️
Dear Motorinc team,
Is the android app in the works still...when can we expect a release? Please reply.
With love❤️
am looking to upgrade to the shortgun from my og dominar 400, need suggestions on options available for upgrading the rear suspension.
i have zero knowledge on modification or upgrading, my 2017 dominar is still as stock as it could be, please suggest
support pls @motorinc
Why there's nothing about Yezdi adventure on your channel?
Please let me know why it's soo underrated
No test bike yet. That’s all.
@motorinc is it a good bike to consider?
I noticed that you guys haven’t done the xpulse (not the T) is there a reason for that? and do you plan on doing the 210?
Hey Motorinc! It is still not clear when the Android app will be out, are there any updates... (we feel almost like a broken record asking about the Android app but there is never any clarity)
Great vid!
Glad you enjoyed the watch @elijahnissi
I wonder what the shoes are which Shumi was wearing during riding...
Hey! Just wanted to know if the Pulsar N150 is a solid option for me. I'm a beginner, and I want a bike that's smooth, refined, very easy to use, has good fuel efficiency, comfortable suspension setup & can also be a fun bike to enjoy when needed!
It can be @maverick1726! What'd you think of the test ride though?
0:31 kumbh Mela brother 😂😂
♥️
Can the rear foot pegs be removed?
Requesting for scram 440 review please
Which are those shoes shumi used in the riding video clip?
What rear suspension do you recommend for super meteor 650?
Great video but Bottom banners are similar to the Shotgun’s rear suspension 😆
😜
Scram 440 review pls....!! 🙌🏽🙏🏼
Meteor 350 owner here. My mileage has dropped suddenly from 35 to around 25. Is this normal or should I complain to the service center?
Suddenly meaning?
@ontheroad8149 i have driven it for around 1300km. For first 800 km it was giving a mileage of around 35kmpl. Now it is giving a mileage of around 25kmpl.
Get your timings/ spark/ fuel/ air systems checked.
The 650s have a tendency to start misfiring very subtly which reduces mileage but isn't noticable enough in normal riding conditions.
Android App. Kab laaoge ?
Does RE have any plan to launch cruiser in 440 cc engine?
No word officially, @aks008, and we don't guess or speculate either
Why does RE have so many models? Do they keep making them after two years? Would people who buy these models have proper factory support after models are discontinued?
Hey motorInc when can we see BSA Goldstar 650 review ?
No clue yet. Classic Legends doesn't seem keen to have their products on MotorInc at the moment
Sg 650 another name in the segment but not much hyped as the twins.👍
Indeed!
What is the shoe that Shumi sir is wearing?? I have seen karthikeya sir also wearing this shoe, can anyone drop the name of these???
What is your expectations from new 750 CC?
No expectations Sangam. We don't like guessing and speculating. We're happy to wait for RE to reveal _all_ the details before we have an opinion
They need to add the TFT display to this bike
I want Shortgun with Bear 249 ka exhust !!!! i am sure it will look DaddyCool
As per my understanding of you, Shumi, the latest two avatars of the 650 are only better in rear suspension compared to these two disasters. Are they still also disasters in their own right?
Offtopic but please can I get a link for the shoes at 0:50
Will fascino 125 have a new model in 2025?
Please do a review on Honda CB 350 RS/Highness
No test bikes,. Debjit! Honda's not had test bikes - we've been asking for two years+ at this point
Hello team, I would love if there's an app for android users as well
8:41 You can't stand up for an influencer 😅
Hey...I am 6'3" and thinking about buying my first bike...been riding 100-150cc segments since 17...What beginner yet sit in for a long time bikes are recommended for people who are tall like me?
What are you considering, @EverythingAndAnything-BSSG?
@motorinc I am considering Bajaj pulsar NS200, KTM Duke 250 bullet 350...I am still exploring...I want a good but challenging bike for starters.
Please make yezdi adventure review
Noted! Awaiting test bike.
