Call me old fashioned, but this is what happens when consent is the highest standard for sex. This is what happens when love and understanding and wisdom is entirely disregarded. I think there’s a wisdom in waiting til marriage, where love and consent are a given, and you’ve progressed enough in the relationship to know what eachother wants. Just plain consent with a random stranger can be subjective and open to interpretation. Clearly it was in this case. Dudes need to stop coercing and raping chicks and on the flip side chicks don’t go home with a random stranger expecting he’s going to show you his Pokémon card collection and talk about his feelings. That’s not what he’s trying to do.
He’s admitted to being intimate with both girls. The second girl he apologized to and then said he’s going to get help. What makes you think he didn’t do this?
1. He literally admitted that it happened (but said he thought it was consensual). He stepped away from the band and is "entering an intensive therapy program to address this issue head on...doing the work necessary to ensure this never happens again." I'm not sure what part of that makes you think he did nothing wrong. 2. From what I can tell, the women aren't pressing charges which means this issue isn't going to court. Without a trial, he won't be "proven guilty." That does not necessarily mean he is innocent.

In 2017, numerous women accused him of sexual assault and rape, which led to Artery Recordings dropping Slaves (the band he was in at the time). So no, I don't think he would be a great choice.
