Hearing they're going back to what got me hooked is exciting. Musically I've always been a fan some songs I like better than others but I don't ever hate on any of their choices. Yeeeeeah lol, in all fairness Andrew wasn't really present for the constant torture Jonny put them through. I do think Jonny would put forth an entirely different vibe these days in a good way, but you can only burn so many bridges before the foundation itself is turned to ash.
@@atomdecay yeah there's definitely something to be said for giving people second chances and acknowledging that they've grown and gotten better, but at the same time you can't discount the painful memories that person is a part of. Plus, I'm really excited to see what Jonny does with his new band. Their first couple singles have been SOLID and I'd hate to lose that to get slightly better DGD when we could have still awesome DGD as well as damn good Old Flame.

Dude that tour holds one of my greatest memories. I saw them at the New Daisy in Memphis & let me just say, if you want to hang with this band, BRING WEED. My friend who's a girl & I got to hang with everyone on the bus until 4am, & these dudes are THE coolest ever. Seriously. Not to mention the show itself was beyond amazing. Seeing Jonny, Kurt & Tilian all sing Uneasy Hearts at the end all together was like a fever dream but in a good way.
Finn you always have such great and nuanced discussions with artists. Straight to the point but without being blunt or opinionated about things, I really feel like that helps people talk from the heart about these subjects and get to how they really think and feel. Big love to you.
Will being excited and smiling about the band being unrestricted and able to go into a more heavy experimental direction and back to roots is a dream come true for someone like me who was burned out on the poppy Tillian era.

Absolutely loving the direction these guys are heading. Andrew's so well-spoken and you can tell they all really care about preserving their legacy as opposed to "new lineup, new band," which is a trap so many bands in this situation fall into.
The Jackpot Juicer tour was legendary, sad that Tilian won't be singing for the band anymore, I would have gone to more surrounding area shows had I known it was the last time to see it live.🥺💮

I have always loved the juxtaposition between Jon and whoever is clean singing in DGDs middle to layer works, the crazy and whacky nonsense goofiness met with serious or more emotional material.
