New 2024 Audi RS3 Is The Most Exciting Performance Sedan For $65k! Prove Me Wrong!

- 👋 Now that we have owned the 2024 Audi RS3 for about 6 months, lets do a full review on my real thoughts with the 8Y RS3! Overall the RS3 has grown on me. My biggest complaint in the beginning was the steering feel and odd handling since it has a FWD biased AWD system and wider front wheels. However, after adding the H&R Springs and Spacers, along with an AWE exhaust, midpipes and intake. The 8Y RS3 has come alive and is a super unique sport sedan like nothing else! I love the power with the inline 5 cylinder turbo engine. The launch control is crazy fast and rockets this car to 60 MPH in mid 3 seconds. It's so fast to drive and just a fun rocket! The styling looks really bold and aggressive with the lower stance and front lip. The Turbo Blue paint pops so much and this car is just cool! The interior has nice Audi refinements in it and feels premium. If you drive this car normal, it's pretty normal and comfortable. But in RS Performance mode, the RS3 comes alive and is a blast to drive. Truly a special sedan that combines a performance focused car into a luxury sedan. Really good blend of a car and the only sedan that comes close int he BMW M3 Competitions which is about $30,000 more expensive. So We are really enjoying what the 2024 RS3 has to offer!

Wow! Y’all have done a great job with this car. It’s like a little rocket and the exhaust note is awesome. 🚀
Thanks! It's such a cool little car!
Really informative and well put together video! I want to admit you were correct about the steering not changing to a bit heavier feel in sport or dynamic mode, but I still like it overall! The car is a bit of a Frankenstein with the tire set up and the mechanical feel in the steering occasionally, but we can't deny it's very effective at going fast everywhere 😂 I'm just getting caught up on a little content today.😄
Yeah there are some weird aspects. But definitely a fun car overall!
Love that color. Now that I think about it I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a car that has wider front tires than back!?
Yeah I can't think of anything. Maybe the Type R and other FWD cars. But certainly no AWD or RWD cars are like this
I can’t wait to get mine in the near future!😭😭 I think that car is almost perfect imo!
Nice! Super fun car!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yeah man! I can’t wait!
Do you think the mods you’ve done have made it any faster or increased power?! Also any thoughts as to what the 25’ RS3 would like like design and power wise? 25’ S3 getting power bump
I've seen some mods make a bit more power with the stock ECU. As they unlock these cars and develop more tuning, that's usually when you get the real benefits of the bolt ons. However the car does feel more responsive and quicker with the few basic parts. The suspension mods have drastically improved the handling tho. We'll have to see what the 2025 has to offer
Definitely my favorite sedan on the market
Yeah it’s definitely a super cool car!
Since we talked about wheels briefly 👀, would you guys ever go for a squared set up and or 18s on a staggered setup or keep the OEM sizes in the future ? IE. I went on tire rack and they didn’t have a lot of options for tires , I prefer All seasons since this would be my daily driver .
I think I'll do a 19in square setup. From what I've heard I can do same offset too and just use a 10mm spacer up front. Then I can still rotate the tires and have perfect fitment. And should improve handling
@@BrosFOURRSpeed what tires will you be using? How will a square setup affect handling? I AX my car and some track days. The original set up is perfect for track but horrible for autocross.
Will any 18” s fit?
For an all season, I highly recommend the Continental DSW 06 plus. had these on my S3 and my new 24 RS. they’re really great in the snow almost as good as a winter tire and their excellent in rain and dry. Stopping distances are perfect.
can you give me the exact upgrades you did on this car? Looks like you did an exhaust without a tune? Sounds great. Can you confirm which exhaust. Your links seem to have more options than what you did to this car.
Should be good! Even more products are on our website that I don't have yet on the car
Looks great, all u need is bbs LMs
Yeah once our stock tires wear out, we'll be looking for a cool new set of wheels!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed gold LMs on turbo blue would look fierce
I Autocross my RS3, what tires are you using? The Potenza sports are horrific. I need something with a 200 tw rating.
Stock tires right now. Once they need replacing I'll be goin to Michelins like my other cars
I have a 2024 M2 on order and I’m having second thoughts about it because of this car. I have a wife and kid and I could use the utility and practicality of a small sedan but it’s not 100% necessary considering I also have a Tundra which is a pretty good family vehicle. I’m really looking for something sporty and quick and also live somewhere that the AWD of the Audi could come in handy if I got caught out in the snow. But typically I would be driving the truck during the winter anyways so this might not be an issue. I would be getting the auto in the M2 anyways so it’s not a selling point between the two. I do have a question about the seats between the two? I know you have compared both cars. How would you compare the two. Also I find myself hating the giant screen in the M2 and whether that is the difference between one car or another, I don’t know. Any and all information comparing the two would be greatly appreciated. Having a really tough time deciding. Thank you!
Here's my review comparing the RS3 to M2. ua-cam.com/video/ItiFiS6vdiY/v-deo.html
I do like the climate controls and screen in the Audi a lot better. You do get used to the BMW tho. If you don't care about the manual they are both very close options. If you truly want the rear door practicality, you might like the RS3. But if it's really only occasional back seat use, M2 probably won't be too bad.
I plan on buying an M2 after my Supra to be my practical car. But the RS3 will be our dedicated 'family' car. But at least the M2 can do it too. So definitely see if you can drive both to see what you like better. I like sitting in 2 door cars better. So for me I'll be happy with an M2 as my future dad car lol. But my wife loves sedans and it's definitely more useful. Both are a blast to drive tho.
Hey, I appreciate the response. I did watch your other comparison video and it was excellent information. These two cars are very hard to get a hold of to test drive and it has been a big challenge to get a short test drive in each. That being said I was not about to push the pedal all the way down in either car with the salesman sitting next to me. Or whip it through any corners. I think both cars are good looking so aesthetically I’m not too concerned and could go either way. I do like the shorter hood on the RS3 as well. It seems like an overall more compact car which would be a nice change from driving around a tundra. But it’s been so long since I drove the M2 I can’t remember what it felt like. How would you compare the M2 (non carbon bucket) seats vs the RS3 seats? I liked the RS3 seats a lot and they seemed to fit me well. I know in your review you said the M2 seats were roomy. Sorry last question, part of me wants to go with the RS3 because of the 7spd dct for super quick shifts but if you have driven the auto M2 how did it feel compared? Any thoughts on this? Thanks again
@@dylanrosen2200 I think the M2 seats are a tad more padded to be honest. RS3 seats feel just a bit stiffer. But not enough to be uncomfortable. ZF 8 speed is super quick to shift as well and will be a bit more conservative to drive in comfort mode. The RS3 has a more mechanical feeling to the transmission when driving like normal. So id say the RS3 is slightly more raw feeling, yet still easy enough and comfortable enough to drive. M2 can tone down a bit more and feels like a basic BMW when driving conservative, and still gets very exciting when in sport mode.
Best bang for the buck out there. However I heard they can be expensive when it comes time for long term service or issues due to that 5 cylinder. I’d still get one over anything else in this class.
From what I've seen these engines are pretty robust and should hit 100k miles easy. After that I'm sure replacement items could be a bit. But probably nothing too crazy
The 5 cylinders are fantastic engines with 100k not a problem. You want engine reliability? Then don't have your You Tube buddies show you how you can "mod an engine" Keep this stock, don't abuse it everyday and use good quality fluids ( including gas) and you'll have a great ride.
It's great when you are married to a fellow car enthusiast because it means more cool cars in your garage. Still love that 5 cylinder engine noise.
For sure! My wife loves the cars just as much as I do. Fun Sedan!
It really is a great car. Better than the M2 imo, vastly better than the Z Nismo.
I did a fun comparison with those cars! Personally I like the M2 since it's RWD and has a manual. But I love what this offers for a sedan. My wife loves it!.

Jb4 - Burger Motorsport +80 to 100hp. Br Performance have Stage1 470hp (Ecu Unlocked)
Oh cool! Yeah there are some cool ways to go for a bump in power!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Vag Performance Dalmatia owner have rs3 with 550hp / 700Nm Stage2. 🦾
How do you feel this stacks up against the M340? Which do you prefer?
I made a whole video on that! ua-cam.com/video/cYCrxjs7Ucs/v-deo.htmlsi=rDP65XALalDyZoAT
I find it really weird that this is a FWD-biased AWD car because most AWD sports cars are RWD-biased… It really does not make any sense to me why they would do that as a rwd bias would not only make the car even more fun but improve performance too…
Also, I’d 100% get one if they offered it with an actual manual and/or a true RWD drivetrain.
Yeah that's my biggest complaint with it. I think it would drive even better with a RWD biased system. Be interesting to have a manual. But the DCT really lets you experience the speed of this car much better. The M2 in a manual sounds like the car you'd like then
ua-cam.com/video/ItiFiS6vdiY/v-deo.html
Well didn’t u do a vs with the m2 and said u preferred the M2?
ua-cam.com/video/ItiFiS6vdiY/v-deo.html
Yeah here's that video. I personally like 2 door cars better. So if this was my specific car, I'd rather have the M2. But this is my wife's car and she loves sedans. And looking at what sporty sedans are on the market. The RS3 is a blast and the most fun to drive sedan on the market for this price. The M3 Comp is the best sedan in my mind, but it's also $95k. So the RS3 has a ton to offer for the price.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I know a shame the m3 or m4 sick… but ruined by insane pricing
Just wait til tunes come out.
Yeah that will be cool!
Roll raced one in my stock 23 Supra and crushed it. They are good off the line tho
Oh cool. Well this and the Supra have the same HP. Is yours tuned? They should be pretty similar from a roll
Yea you must have gotten the hit on that one bud
Needs black badges👍
Yeah I'm thinking of doing that to the rear. I'll leave the front chrome so you can still see it tho
@@BrosFOURRSpeed do front as well😃
Nahh. You can't see the front logo in black. There's already too much black in the front bumper lol
Prefer this over the supra?
Personally no. I like the Supra more since I prefer two door cars. Love the tight handling with the Supra and the manual. But for a sedan, this is about as good as it gets! I love the extra power and grip in the RS3, along with the refinements. Here's my video comparing a Supra to it.
ua-cam.com/video/fQehZcOObIg/v-deo.html
Very nearly sounds like your Lambo.
Yeah it has a very similar tone! Will be cool once we do a downpipe how similar they sound!
Just needs a few 'roids like Tren, D-bal, Anavar, Test. LoL - Then it would be "not natty".
Interesting
No manual? Nooooooooo
Get the M2 then. Very comparable car but offer the stick. The DCT is super snappy tho and lets you experience all the power
considering my experience with Audi and their horrible reliability, I would go for an Elantra N line over this
That car isn't even on the same level tho. Thats a fun car, but not even close. What Audis have you owned? This is our 6 the Audi and the have all been rock solid
Why not get the N over the N line
@@19hundoc47 right, any of those over these
@BrosFOURRSpeed first an audi A4... terrible!! heavy as hell. Also an Audi Q8.. better to drive than the A4 (not saying much there), but very expensive to insure and maintain, more than our BMW X6 that was miles better. my brother had an earlier RS7... a hoot to drive but it would continously have mechanical defects to fix, including once that the alternator went bust and left him stranded in the middle of a highway. the piece had to be imported from Germany, took 8 weeks and was like $8000 to fix. The insurance paid for the Part but no compensation for the 8 weeks the car was down. That and other stories from friends regarding other Audis.
