October 11th, 2020 Eldora Tacoma

Sunday October 11th a team from Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery spent the afternoon and evening on Caribou Trail just before it reaches Eldora, CO recovering a Tacoma that had gone off the edge of the trail.
This kind of recovery is done by alternating winching from 2 vehicles using redirected lines from trees higher up, creating a pendulum, which pulls the vehicle very carefully back onto the trail.
Video is 5x speed to show the progress more rapidly.
Pendulum recoveries are time consuming to rig, but all in all relatively easy operations to pull off.
