New Form of Karate: Fortalesa Combat Karate of Curaçao

After practicing and teaching multiple martial arts over several decades, Sensei Raul de Windt has created a new form of Karate that focuses on self-esteem and self-defense on a foundation of Christianity.
"Fortalesa" means strength in Papiamentu, the language of Curaçao, a former Dutch colony in the Caribbean. Specifically, it refers to "I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13)
