AYYYYY THE SISTERS ARE BACK!!! That perfume comment got me shook! I think the reason why black women are not in perfume commercials, because perfumes have been commercially constructed as a way to attract the opposite sex. And because black women are not considered as attracted to then be able to be attractive and attract the opposite sex is opposed in the commercial industry. It's really sad! What a great topic girls, so glad you girls are back x

    Glad you ladies are back.
    Just wanted to add.
Rochelle and her husband have stated before they don't feel the need to speak to their children about racial issues which angered people as to why is she fronting a doc about an issue regarding black women.
Claudette was 15 & pregnant with a white man's baby, ain't no way society was about to make her face a movement.

I remember the uproar in regards to that. I completely forgot to mention it as it’s very important in understanding why people were so against her doing the documentary
I didn’t know this information about Claudette so that’s very interesting!
Thanks for giving more information on both issues and for watching ❤️

As always, you girls are speaking the truth! And your content, as always is top-class and amazing. A great kick-off to the new season.
2 things that I'd like to contribute in regards to today's episode:
    - In our community (the black community), everyone needs to stop seeing one another as rivals and instead see them as fellow brothers/sisters. Also, in our community, people need to learn that when it comes to being all-pro for seeing black people win and helping them win, you cannot have one day of bigging up people of your own race, and then the next day, be dragging your own people across the dirt and talking down on your people. It's half-hearted energy. Just as you guys perfectly said in the video, one day it's talking about George Floyd and BLM, the next day, you're calling all kinds of harsh names to your own people. It's not cool at all and allows division to remain in our community.
    - Dark-skinned women and black women in general are the most undervalued and less appreciated people on this planet. It's time for the world, organisations, and companies to step up their game and show them more love, value and appreciation. Not sit back and let everyone else do the work.

Everything you’ve said is SPOT ON, wow, so well articulated! We really have to be FOR our people and do so sincerely. It’s the wishy washy, degrading behaviour that hinders our progression and does nothing for our community. It starts within ourselves and then around us. Thank you so much for your support & kind words, we appreciate it so much 🥺❤️ God bless you - Ashley

Yeah and she’s the only one black model that’s being promoted which is the problem, can only be space for 1 black girl, but many whites and light skins

Colourism myth - black boys and girls were asked which doll was prettier - a darker toned doll or white tone doll. Guess who said what. Black boys resisted the idea that one was prettier but the black girls tended to choose the white. ua-cam.com/video/i20d11fGz-0/v-deo.html

Caribbean blacks DON’T bleach their babies, may be Jamaicans. Where I’m from we’re proud to be black.

we were speaking in a very general sense because it does exist but I'm happy where you're from everyone's proud to be black & we wish that was the case for everyone!

Colourism is an issue for everyone who has been colonised by racist white supremacist white people. Skin bleaching is an issue across the African diaspora

I wish people who make such claims back it up with evidence. I am of half Dominican and I don’t know anyone from my island that bleach their skin or their children.
