You made a really good point not to spend too much on budgeting tools if you want to save more money. I did exactly that. I bought 2 beautiful binders from the Aesthetic Dollar during her imperfect sales for a deep discount, and 2 set of those blank PVC envelopes. I used the label maker to make labels for all my envelopes. That’s pretty much it. Didn’t spend a lot. Nice setup 👍

For the pest control thing, having more natural predators (like snakes/lizards) is better. They will take care of mice and insects.
