**To get koolaid out of your hair.** Boil about 6-8 cups of water and add 1/2 cup of baking soda. Dip your hair in it and leave it in for 10-20 min. 2nd method Add 1 cup baking soda and add conditioner like the video. Put it into your dyed hair and leave it in for 30 minutes to an hour then wash it with HOT water. The dye should come right out
Thank u for this vid. None I found as informative as this one. I tried green last night with a smidge water n conditioner and left my hair wrapped for an hour to find I horribly failed all dolor came out and had a huge green mess in the tub this morning (tub clogged lol). I'm going to get blue today to try my hair again with this method.
To be honest I haven't tried it on dark hair. I would make sure you put a lot more kook aid in and get the. Okie darker than your desired color though. You're probably going to have to go with a darker color like dark blue, red, or purple for it to work any way. Good luck
My hair is dark brown and I used black cherry kool aid (4 packets boiled in 2 cups of water) to do it. I dip dyed it. I did not do the conditioner method, and it worked fine.
I am sorry about that. On a PC the music is super low compared to the regular audio. I will consider not putting it in or I will figure out how to change that for tablets.
Yes it can. You boil the water and add the Kool aid. Let it boil for about 2 minutes. Then let it cool a little bit. After its cooled a smidge, put it in a cup or something you can soak your hair in. I left my daughter's hair for about an hour. Red tips. It stayed in her hair for almost a year, it must've been at least 8 months. She wants her entire head done now, not just the tips, so I'm hoping the conditioner will work too, seeing as we can't dunk her whole head in scalding hot water lol
I'm sorry but you talk way to much. Also, why didn't you show us what it looked like after it dried? How do we know it actually works? Other wise, great video
Depending on how long you leave the mixture in your hair it can stay from a week to two months. It also depends on your hair color and what color you want to put in it.
thats cool because my friend and i have been looking for helpful vids cause' we are doing it this weekend!
My friend boiled the kool aid in water and it dyed her hair permanently
I enjoyed your video. Very informative & your voice is "easy on the ears." You should start a podcast or something!!
Are you not showing it washed out or the end result did u wash with shampoo or did you leave the conditioner in and dry.....

Does this method work on dark brown hair or does the dip dye only work on dark brown hair

You can't use conditioner that's too watery. Been doing it for a couple years too, just tried with vo5 twice and it failed. There's nothing

My hair is dark brown and I used black cherry kool aid (4 packets boiled in 2 cups of water) to do it.

Wats better water or conditioner
Water lasts longer, Conditioner makes your hair softer in the process.
Please consider not putting music to the videos, you're super hard to hear, and i have the kindle rifht by my ears
I am sorry about that. On a PC the music is super low compared to the regular audio. I will consider not putting it in or I will figure out how to change that for tablets.

How long did you leave it in?

I think that you can boil Kool-Aid and then dip you hair in it ;p But I never tried it
Yes you can. I'm going to make a video on how to do it that way too.
Did you cool the water first?
You can boil it in water and then mix ut with conditioner
Piper Hanson: Yes, just rinse it out.
Rita Rosa: It depends on how long you leave it in your hair before rinsing it out. The longer you leave it in the lobger it will stay.
To Jordan Adams comment: it wont be permanent eventually it'll come out
can you use different conditioner colored than white
Wats better water or conditioner
conditioner it keeps your hair mousturized unlike water which leaves it dry
This is Carisa, water leaves it dryer but lasts longer.
*****
This is Carisa again, Riana you have to let the water completely cool before you put your hair in.
