Each time you gesture to add another color/shape I say "Stop. It is perfect!" Then you go forward and I change my mind to say "How could it be without what was just accomplished?" I love your techniques and this finished work is gorgeous!
This is exceptional--so nice to see videos that elevate the techniques to fine art, really stretching the plate's potential. Thank You for the inspiration!
That is sooo beautiful! I had so many questions as you were painting it. Why use Open acrylics; what are you cleaning your gel plate with; did you change your mind on the lower waterfall; what kind of paper are you using… the music is beautiful and it would be so nice and helpful if you shared your process… thanks for sharing!
These were my exact questions too! I now wonder if the waterfall was either scraped for more greenscape or to lighten that area so it popped more? Either way this is a stunning piece.
Thank you so much for this beautiful landscape and new ways to enhance the beauty created with the Gelli plate. Is it possible for you to let me know the playlist that accompanied this video of two years ago? The music really complimented the work.
Your work is amazing I love it as it in timelapse I just wanna ask one question do you wait very long between layers or do you just keep printing fairly quickly? . Keep doing these lovely videos. Be great if you could talk in a couple of them.🙏💕
Thanks! I layer quickly. I’m using very thin layers of paint so they dry fast enough that by the time the next layer is ready to print, I don’t need to wait.
lovely. your process is fascinating.. I have to admit that as you neared the end I worried that it would be overworked, and yet, it would be just another good touch. ❤What paper did you use, and please tell us what music is playing.
Bonjour! J’utilise du papier aquarelle. canson XL ou Strathmore fonctionnent bien si vous n'avez pas accès à Blick Art Supplies (j'utilise leur propre papier de marque). S'il vous plaît excusez mon pauvre français!
I’m so sorry, I have archived the source for this video and can’t find the music exactly. It’s by Alice in Winter through Soundstripe, but I think you can find some of their work here on UA-cam.
The results directly on paper would be very different. There’s an element of letting go of control when you monoprint that you are not able to do when you paint directly. Also, it’s fun.
A delightful piece - but not a tutorial I grasped. Most of the time I didn't know what you were doing and/or why; how many different prints you were pulling - and/or over-printing - and whether there was a plan you were following. Sadly my interest waned and I just skipped to the finished result halfway through.

Lol! Thank you.

How kind of you to say so - thank you!
Absolutely mesmerizing!! Music is fabulous too! :)
Wow! Love the application of multiple layers relying mostly on the gel plate and the brayers. Beautiful outcome.
Thank you!
Fabulous demonstration! Beautiful print!
Thank you!
I am amazed by your intuitive use of the brayer to create this beautiful landscape!
😀. Thank you!
OMG!!!!! So beautiful. Inspiring
Thank you so much, Esther!
Thank you for re inspiring me on the magic 🪄 of monotypes ❤📱🙏
You are very welcome!
Thank you for uploading this demonstration. It was a masterclass in showing what can be achieved.
Hermoso trabajo... Gracias por compartirlo
Prego
Amazing! Music is nice too!
Thank you!
Fantastic demo with great music to create curiosity and mystery! Great final result. Thank you. C
Thank you, Carol!
I like the painterly effects you're able to get through this process. Thanks for sharing this (and the Alice in Winter music, as well).
Thank you!
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
Beautiful ❤
Thank you!
While watching I was thinking bring in some blue/green and you did! Magical and beautiful!
Thanks, Beverly!

I’m (slowly) putting together a class that will be available online that will answer all of these questions!
These were my exact questions too! I now wonder if the waterfall was either scraped for more greenscape or to lighten that area so it popped more? Either way this is a stunning piece.
Absolute gorgeous
Thank you!
stunning
Thank you

Thank you! I can’t recall exact track names, but the music is by Alice in Winter. It’s stunning, isn’t it?
Beautiful work.
Thank you!
Amazing!!!
Thank you!
Gorgeous work
Thanks, Michele!

What a wonderful picture, I like it. Greetings from Austria (Europe)
Thank you, Kari!
Excelent!
Thank you!
I enjoyed watching this, but, I need to know what song is being played at the 8:18 mark? With the piano and cello or violin. Thanks!
I see you found it! It is a stunning piece, isn’t it?
Just wonderful Carolyn, so peaceful to watch. What is the liquid in the small tipped plastic bottle. Blessings from Australia
It’s paint! 😀
Beautiful!
Thank you
What is the liquid with which you wipe the paint off Gelli so quickly.
Just water.
One more question - how do you frame these?
I sell them unframed!
Beautiful work and technique. Liked and subscribed!
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your process. So well done! Curious what you are using to clean your plate off with?
Thank you. I just use water in a spray bottle for cleaning during the process.
lovely. your process is fascinating.. I have to admit that as you neared the end I worried that it would be overworked, and yet, it would be just another good touch. ❤What paper did you use, and please tell us what music is playing.
Thanks! The paper is in the video description. The music is by Alice in Winter - it’s gorgeous, isn’t it?
What kind of inks/paints did you use? This piece is gorgeous.
Thank you! I usually use Golden’s open acrylics, but I think I used Folk Art’s acrylic paint for this one.
Thanks! Materials are listed in the video description.
What is the solution in the spray bottle??
It’s just water.
@@HeartstoneArt thanks so much!
Very beautiful. I love the process, but I feel I missed something when you were working off screen. Thank you.
I’m so very sorry. I only have one camera and these were never intended to be instructional videos.
Bonjour du Québec! Quel est la sorte de papier???

@@HeartstoneArt Thank you. No need to respond to my comment at top! Got it! I've subscribed and look forward to being inspired.
Can someone explain me - why not do it directly on the paper? Thank you
The results directly on paper would be very different. There’s an element of letting go of control when you monoprint that you are not able to do when you paint directly.
Also, it’s fun.
PENTURE ACRYLIQUE??
Oui
Roughly from 2:14 to 3:14 nothing happens.
Hmmm - I’ll take a look. Thank you
The result was not stuning, but interesting technique. thank you for sharing
Thanks for the comment.
The music was miserable, had to turn it off.
Your loss 🤷🏻♀️
@@HeartstoneArt ....LOL
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰

It’s not a tutorial. It’s a demonstration. I’m sorry you feel you’re owed an explanation.
So much off camera action at the beginning
My apologies
