    Each time you gesture to add another color/shape I say "Stop. It is perfect!" Then you go forward and I change my mind to say "How could it be without what was just accomplished?" I love your techniques and this finished work is gorgeous!

    Wow! Love the application of multiple layers relying mostly on the gel plate and the brayers. Beautiful outcome.

    I like the painterly effects you're able to get through this process. Thanks for sharing this (and the Alice in Winter music, as well).

    That is sooo beautiful! I had so many questions as you were painting it. Why use Open acrylics; what are you cleaning your gel plate with; did you change your mind on the lower waterfall; what kind of paper are you using… the music is beautiful and it would be so nice and helpful if you shared your process… thanks for sharing!

      I’m (slowly) putting together a class that will be available online that will answer all of these questions!

    • @merkilegur
      @merkilegur Рік тому +1

      These were my exact questions too! I now wonder if the waterfall was either scraped for more greenscape or to lighten that area so it popped more? Either way this is a stunning piece.

    Thank you so much for this beautiful landscape and new ways to enhance the beauty created with the Gelli plate. Is it possible for you to let me know the playlist that accompanied this video of two years ago? The music really complimented the work.

    Your work is amazing I love it as it in timelapse I just wanna ask one question do you wait very long between layers or do you just keep printing fairly quickly? . Keep doing these lovely videos. Be great if you could talk in a couple of them.🙏💕

    • @HeartstoneArt
      @HeartstoneArt  6 місяців тому +1

      Thanks! I layer quickly. I’m using very thin layers of paint so they dry fast enough that by the time the next layer is ready to print, I don’t need to wait.

    Can someone explain me - why not do it directly on the paper? Thank you

    • @HeartstoneArt
      @HeartstoneArt  2 місяці тому

      The results directly on paper would be very different. There’s an element of letting go of control when you monoprint that you are not able to do when you paint directly.
      Also, it’s fun.

    A delightful piece - but not a tutorial I grasped. Most of the time I didn't know what you were doing and/or why; how many different prints you were pulling - and/or over-printing - and whether there was a plan you were following. Sadly my interest waned and I just skipped to the finished result halfway through.

    • @HeartstoneArt
      @HeartstoneArt  Рік тому +3

      It’s not a tutorial. It’s a demonstration. I’m sorry you feel you’re owed an explanation.
