The one improvement I could think of for the Stryfe is to make two battery trays. One on each side that each hold 2 AA batteries. The reason behind this is so that the weight of the batteries is balanced, making an almost perfect blaster slightly more comfortable to use.

I got a big brain idea, get a 50 round drum in the regulator, attach the tri-strike attachments and then have loads of 22 round banana mags in gear, along with spare demolisher missles and spare mega darts
Feel like noting some stuff: The Stryfe recently got an upgrade. If you buy it now, it has a green stripe on the left side and a black battery door. Amazon has a Demolisher you can buy by itself, with the original Demolisher stock. There’s now a Recon MKIII. It’s basically just a Recon MKII but with green accenting instead of that weird orange. It comes with a Regulator stock with green accenting, a green shield, and a proximity barrel.
The recon mkII was probably my first mag fed blaster. I had it since I was a child and one day it primed and wouldn't discharge. Well a tip to anyone else that has this problem: take off the stock, hold it in your hand and whack the top of it. It literally fixed the problem.

The Modulus ECS-10 remains one of my favorite blasters of all time, probably because it was my first flywheel blaster. The tacticoolness helps too though. Also, these days, you can buy Modulus blasters without any of the accessories for only $12, which is just ridiculously cheap for a flywheel blaster.
When it comes to nerf, I have an Evader as my flywheel primary, and for springer-only games I use a tri-strike with the retaliator attachments (the stock actually fits me nicely) and a bare retaliator as my secondary. I am considering upgrading the spring in my tri-strike and painting it so that the retaliator attachments actually match the colors of the blaster

The idea of the shadow would be really cool with "Bolt Action" due to the idea that you can essentially make it more like a WWII style Bolt Rifle. Then get a Talon Mag fed pistol either with hammer action or a slide along the whole top side just to keep with the LARP.
I would definitely use the ion fire as a pistol, because although it doesn't shoot as fast as everything else, it fires a lot farther that the secondaries or even primaries such as: modulus ecs 10 demolisher Ghost ops evader 10/10 recommendation (as a pistol)
He makes everything look small. I recently got the modulus demolisher and I was shocked at how big everything actually was. I had no clue that the torch was the size of my hand
I'm honestly bigger for the modulus ecs 10 rather than the stryfe. The modulus always treated me like a good friend and gave me a fantastic grip for my off hand.
I still have a Modulus ECS-10 since maybe 6 years, only thing I changed on it is the stock, which I also bent (plastic don’t like pressure at all xD) and replaced it with a Retaliator stock, which feels pretty good with it, and I’m actually happy that you say it’s similar to a Stryfe since I didn’t even know how good it was then and that I’m technically in the meta with this blaster :D
if youre worried about the cramped grip area with tri-strike stock, i've found that with my evader rifle, since the stock attachment point is extended behind the grip, that it is less cramped.
Fun fact: the tri-strike was my first blaster. I got it at like 5 or somethin and it was super big for me! If I held it straight up from the handle, the barrel would go like 9 inches above my head
It is my first blaster too, got it when i was 7 or 8, yea it was a bit big and the missile launcher was a bit too hard to shoot effectively, but it will always have a special place in my heart
The regulator has a delay because its feeding mechanism is a dart long conveyer belt with a nub which just pushes it into the fly wheels. so sometimes it’s already in the back so it pushes it out fast. Otherwise it can take a while. So if you put in in three round burst you can sometimes half pull the trigger and it will shoot one and the nub will be in the back. Not very easy or consistent tho

I guess that would be cool, not only would balance be better, but it would be more symmetrical. However then you would have to deal with two screws.
The Modulus line gave us one of the best stocks from Nerf: the Mediator stock. I use it all the time.

16:38 on a stryfe with no optic you can fire the stock if the primary goes down so no need to take it off without attachments, same with demolisher

The idea of the shadow would be really cool with "Bolt Action" due to the idea that you can essentially make it more like a WWII style Bolt Rifle. Then get a Talon Mag fed pistol either with hammer action or a slide along the whole top side just to keep with the LARP.
I would definitely use the ion fire as a pistol, because although it doesn't shoot as fast as everything else, it fires a lot farther that the secondaries or even primaries such as:

I'm honestly bigger for the modulus ecs 10 rather than the stryfe. The modulus always treated me like a good friend and gave me a fantastic grip for my off hand.
I think it would be pretty cool if they did a solid color version of the Evader

I still have a Modulus ECS-10 since maybe 6 years, only thing I changed on it is the stock, which I also bent (plastic don’t like pressure at all xD) and replaced it with a Retaliator stock, which feels pretty good with it, and I’m actually happy that you say it’s similar to a Stryfe since I didn’t even know how good it was then and that I’m technically in the meta with this blaster :D
Only if Longstrike had a bottom tactical rail in the place where you can put a bayonet...

if youre worried about the cramped grip area with tri-strike stock, i've found that with my evader rifle, since the stock attachment point is extended behind the grip, that it is less cramped.

You should do a series overview of all the dart zone blasters
Fun fact: the tri-strike was my first blaster. I got it at like 5 or somethin and it was super big for me! If I held it straight up from the handle, the barrel would go like 9 inches above my head
It is my first blaster too, got it when i was 7 or 8, yea it was a bit big and the missile launcher was a bit too hard to shoot effectively, but it will always have a special place in my heart
The regulator has a delay because its feeding mechanism is a dart long conveyer belt with a nub which just pushes it into the fly wheels. so sometimes it’s already in the back so it pushes it out fast. Otherwise it can take a while. So if you put in in three round burst you can sometimes half pull the trigger and it will shoot one and the nub will be in the back. Not very easy or consistent tho
