It's a shame that no matter how many times I repeat it in a video, or address things as specifically as I can, people still don't understand the main premise of this video. Here's a quick summary for everyone saying the same thing. - Not ONCE did I say this set is stronger than a Necron's Set w/ and Ender Dragon or Diamond Heads. What I DID SAY was that this is a completely UNFAIR TEST, because you're comparing a 100M coin setup to an almost 1B coin setup. Of course the Necron's set is going to win if it's 10x the cost, it was designed to be that way. - No, pet locking is NOT a problem with this armour set. The only difference with Necron's Armour and Frozen Blaze is with Necron's Armour you can choose to have more EHP in return for more damage, or you can have more damage in return for more EHP. That flexibility is a plus side for Necron's Armour, but Frozen Blaze has BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. If you didn't get the memo, I was literally pointing out that Frozen Blaze is the all round set that does everything well, but it's not the best at everything. - Any comment relating to higher catacombs level or near maxed gameplay is also completely irrelevant. I am not comparing this armour set to the BEST OF THE BEST, I was looking at it from a perspective of someone who is most likely going to be upgrading from Superior/Shadow Assassin, and wants to get into F7. Yes a Wither Skeleton pet will do more DPS over time, though the one shot capability of the Blaze Pet is still extremely comparable, and once again, you get significantly more EHP with a slight sacrifice in damage. If you can't even survive with a Wither Skeleton, you'll be needing to use a Baby Yeti ANYWAYS and you'll be doing less damage than Frozen Blaze to begin with. - Frozen Blaze breaking things like soul eater, ice spray, etc can all be countered by middle clicking any of the armour pieces. This will disable the full set bonus, and will allow you to play with all of those features, bug free. The full set bonus can be helpful AFTER CLEARING however, as you can kill bats without even hitting them when collecting secrets. - You can also use different helmets if you really want to. If you're rich enough for a Warden's Helmet, Diamond Head, etc, you can still continue with your Frozen Blaze set and Blaze Pet. I wouldn't really advise it at this point because as I said, if you have the money for these items just go with Necron. But because I'm getting repetitive comments telling me that you can't, you can, try it for yourself. - For the people saying you can't do Enderman Slayer with this armour, can you do Enderman Slayer in 3/4 Necron, Tarantula Helmet and a Wither Skeleton? No, of course not. You'd HAVE to spend the extra hundreds of millions on a Wither Blade, Healing Wand, Final Destination, Katanas to even get close, and with all of this gear you're comparing the 100M coin Frozen Blaze to an almost 1B coin Necron Set once again. It's not a fair test, people are comparing things that aren't comparable, and I don't understand why it's so difficult to understand that it just wasn't the point of the video. I might just refrain from making future armour videos because clearly this community is too ignorant to even be open to new suggestions. Hopefully this clarifies any confusion in the video, though it's not like I didn't say most of this stuff already.

Just a couple things i wanted to point out that i know myself that wasnt included in the video fb helmet can always be switched to something else like gold, diamond or warden helm. Fb ability makes ice spray and soul eater not work but you can turn off full set bonus with middleclicking one of the pieces. Fb also has slightly more speed. Fb full set bonus is nice for killing bats.
I agree with this video 90% and the other 10% is caused by Diana's mythological ritual event. To actually get good mobs and drops it will require a griffin pet instead of blaze pet, therefore heckron armor is still useful in some cases Does not matter though since you can one hit everything with Aspect Of The Jerry and a Jerry Pet
Istg if I get any comments saying that it's not good based off of swavy's tests, I will throw a chair at a wall And complaints about pet locking. You are pet locked to a baby yeti if you need EHP, the same way you are pet locked to a damage pet if you need damage. Blaze Pet is both an EHP and damage pet, therefore being pet locked to it is technically better, since it serves 2 purposes. I'll have a full video regarding this topic in a future video. Just stop spamming my comments with the same stuff, I beg.
No like actually necron is better in those departments if you use the right pet for example: tiger pet is way more dps than frozen blaze e drag is way more critchance yeti is way more ehp and black cat is way more speed
Not trying to devalue the test but as far as I know frozen blaze would have killed necron out of dungeons if you had also used the tarantula helmet with it as it’s still better against fb helmet

I used to be a FB user when I first started doing F7, I got the cata 29 req to use it back when F6 was the highest floor. I used it as a bers until I got handle then switched to hypemage, I only bought necron armor like 5 months after F7s release.

hidden perk of Frozen Blaze is the ability to passively kill mobs while gaining resources. I’ve been using this mechanic long before Frozen Blaze was ever considered meta to grind combat xp from spawned enderman
@@PGDreemurr no it wasnt afk. basically what i did was go onto the outside of the end onto one of the spikes, look downwards, and spam ender pearls. soon there would be a horde of enderman, and slowly the frozen blaze armor would kill them without ever needing to stop spamming pearls
god damnit. We really need mining fortune to apply to ice. SEVERAL HOURS of ice farming net me a whopping 3 enchanted packed ice. and I'm only a little under half way to frozen scythe at this point thanks to buying ice during jerry diaz perk. FB is 4 fucking stacks of the stuff. RIP Ironmen.

I know this video is kinda old and this comment probably isn't even relevant, but the Blaze pet's epic version also gives the same buff to Blaze Armor as the leg version, and it's under 30m for the epic version at a decent level. Ofc the third perk for hot potato books only applies with the leg Blaze pet but I just thought it was worth pointing out.
ModernSoldier I bought 9 starred FB Set and its way better then my necron with Edrag set in dungeons and petlock isnt a problem because you got Defense and DMG at the same time with necron you need to swap pets always thats kinda bad
While you did make some valid points, it is only 10%~ damage increase for a 30% ehp decrease if you use yeti, and at least for where many people are it doesnt make sense to switch from necron to FB to only then switch back to necron for end game, with warden helm and edrag and all that. @@ModernSoldier the sets locked to a blaze pet if it wants to be good, and when the pet cost more than pets that are better, sets that are better, with swappable pieces from different sets, it makes it hard to work around the price and unadaptibilty of the set. Still great video though very well done.
Just saying this set gets stronger the higher your cata level is since your acient reforge gets boosted from the 40% blaze pet. And to add on you always use a dia helm(gold helm if poor) and this helmet gives ALOT of eHP cuz the Blaze pet dubbles the HPB and FPB and they get dubbled in the dungeon again.
@@ModernSoldier also didnt hypixel said that they want to update the nether to a combat is with stronger mobs than enderman slayer? So this is also a huge plus for FB with the pet cut the pet boosts your stats by 20%.

Frozen blaze actually gives better ehp than necron/edrag at higher cata lvl, while only doing slightly less damage. And, there are things like soul eater to boost your damage in higher floors. Not to mention, frozen blaze is WAY cheaper than necron/edrag.
good video but for some reason you didnt test dmg with lion pet. its a bit broke. rn, and it would have almost doubled ur dmg with necron. it works on arrows too, and for one shotting things its really important
People with Necron would use Ender-Dragon pets though. Using a Dragon pet, it will absolutely SHRED Frozen Blaze armor with a blaze pet in BOTH EHP, Damage, Overall stats. Even in M6 if you were to petlock yourself to a Blaze pet with Frozen Blaze, Necron with Dragon pet will still deal more damage than it guaranteed. And if you weren't using Dragon pet then you'd just end up using a Golden Dragon pet anyway.

How does this armor compare to necrons when you are only using an epic blaze pet? Is the difference huge? Also I am Cata 20 rn and I would o ly use it until I hit 24 cus then I can use necrons so it would just be a temporary solution, is it even worth getting fb or should I just use sa in that case?
This is only my opinion If you’re deciding about whether to get necron or fb If you can afford either of them that means you must have invested quite a lot of time in skyblock and will probably spend more time in the future. Picking Necron would be best for you, eventually you will have to change your helmet and pet to something better, not to mention the boss head is clearly better than fb in dungeon. If you’re someone who usually plays sb for 5-10 hours a day get Necron but if you’re just there to collect minion and rarely play get frozen blaze
I can agree fb is a good set tho Necron is way better for stuff like slayers and dungeons especially f7 and m7 when it comes out because of the 10% damage reduced per piece, about slayers most people use a baby yeti for enderman or edrag which would ruin the point of fb. Oh and diana too, keep up the good work
If you can afford necron armor you probably have cookie buff too then you can just get auto pet rules and the do when entering combat spawn a blaze pet and then you can just you any pet you like
@meowBlitz yeah I realized that by trying it. Still wish they had stuff to get you to nether armor that didn't require dungeons, but I don't even play anymore so it doesn't matter much.
@@Nsix4 yeah dungeons changed so much of skyblock, its basically a necessity to have a hyperion for nether as RCM just overpowers melee by a long shot :( But FB is a very great option to get into playing f7 and grind that hyperion!

Tbh FB is better than Necron + Edrag for archers in dungeons outside of F7 - you get 30% more EHP and lose 3-5% of damage. I own both Necron + Edrag and FB, and I use FB in mm with Terminator. However, I'd say FB isn't a budget version of Necron because you should buy FB only if you already have Necron. There is no reason to buy FB if you don't have gear for F7 and overworld. And it's actually better to buy FB for mm instead of edrag if you don't grind ender slayers.
well with a head necron is better because if u cant survive with a wither skelly u need a teti and that makes it better cause you are not pet locked and if u are endgame necron is better in and utside but nice vid anyways
If same reforges, modifiers and enchants, yes, fb with even epic blaze will be better than full necron with epic edrag. Necron is only better with gdrag or leg edrag anyways. Yes. You can run master floors with fb and epic, let alone legemdary

Ok, so I just got myself frozen blaze and I find myself dealing less damage and whenever I left click a mob a circle of smoke comes. I also have maxed strong dragon and the dragon works better out of dungeons. I haven’t tried dungeons yet but is frozen blaze meant for dungeons? I spent 50M on this and I really don’t want to waste it.

only reason necron isnt hard petlocked is out of dungeons if you want a pet thatll give you magic find while still having good damage and ehp necron can mostly do that where as fb does it worse as far as j kjow
i have both of these sets, wanted to give my two cents in my tests, necron was only better once you got to an edrag. with other common pets, such as wither skeleton and tiger, necron actually is extremely close to frozen blaze. so, if you don't have an edrag, just get 3/4th fb with a blaze pet, please. it's so much cheaper, and can carry you up to about m3/m4, at which time it's probably time to get a gdrag/edrag 😂
No you don't, this is stuff that I tested with the dungeon tests I had to cut out. And really? A diamond head? You're comparing a 100M set to a 200M HELMET? The full set w/ that helmet is almost 300M in total (without a pet, basically a billion with an e drag), it not only is completely unfair but it's also incredibly unreasonable.
@@akshayreddy4071 For your first point, auto pet rules exist, the only times I can think of where the base stats of fb wouldn't be enough is the void septuple or maybe t5 rev minibosses. For your second point, you should be more than capable of doing the rare griffin mobs with fbs base stats, idk about epic, and you would want to have stronger gear regardless for leg griffin mobs. Your third point is the only really valid point you have.

ModernSoldier I bought 9 starred FB Set and its way better then my necron with Edrag set in dungeons and petlock isnt a problem because you got Defense and DMG at the same time with necron you need to swap pets always thats kinda bad

While you did make some valid points, it is only 10%~ damage increase for a 30% ehp decrease if you use yeti, and at least for where many people are it doesnt make sense to switch from necron to FB to only then switch back to necron for end game, with warden helm and edrag and all that. Good video tho
It's never worth it to switch, but it's worth to keep in mind if you haven't already purchased
@@ModernSoldier the sets locked to a blaze pet if it wants to be good, and when the pet cost more than pets that are better, sets that are better, with swappable pieces from different sets, it makes it hard to work around the price and unadaptibilty of the set. Still great video though very well done.
Just saying this set gets stronger the higher your cata level is since your acient reforge gets boosted from the 40% blaze pet.
And to add on you always use a dia helm(gold helm if poor) and this helmet gives ALOT of eHP cuz the Blaze pet dubbles the HPB and FPB and they get dubbled in the dungeon again.

@@ModernSoldier also didnt hypixel said that they want to update the nether to a combat is with stronger mobs than enderman slayer? So this is also a huge plus for FB with the pet cut the pet boosts your stats by 20%.
Just like with necron u can ditch the helmet in dugons for a Diamond or golden head for moar dmg

Frozen blaze actually gives better ehp than necron/edrag at higher cata lvl, while only doing slightly less damage. And, there are things like soul eater to boost your damage in higher floors. Not to mention, frozen blaze is WAY cheaper than necron/edrag.
it also changed from max of 500 dmg bonus for blaze collection to 700!
good video but for some reason you didnt test dmg with lion pet. its a bit broke. rn, and it would have almost doubled ur dmg with necron. it works on arrows too, and for one shotting things its really important
it doesnt work with bows tho it buffs first strike u can’t put that on a bow

lion is only that good because of the first strike buff and after that first hit its around the same as frozen blaze

People with Necron would use Ender-Dragon pets though. Using a Dragon pet, it will absolutely SHRED Frozen Blaze armor with a blaze pet in BOTH EHP, Damage, Overall stats. Even in M6 if you were to petlock yourself to a Blaze pet with Frozen Blaze, Necron with Dragon pet will still deal more damage than it guaranteed. And if you weren't using Dragon pet then you'd just end up using a Golden Dragon pet anyway.

Not ONCE did I say this set is stronger than a Necron's Set w/ and Ender Dragon or Diamond Heads. What I DID SAY was that this is a completely UNFAIR TEST, because you're comparing a 100M coin setup to an almost 1B coin setup. Of course the Necron's set is going to win if it's 10x the cost, it was designed to be that way.
How does this armor compare to necrons when you are only using an epic blaze pet? Is the difference huge? Also I am Cata 20 rn and I would o ly use it until I hit 24 cus then I can use necrons so it would just be a temporary solution, is it even worth getting fb or should I just use sa in that case?

If you’re deciding about whether to get necron or fb
If you can afford either of them that means you must have invested quite a lot of time in skyblock and will probably spend more time in the future. Picking Necron would be best for you, eventually you will have to change your helmet and pet to something better, not to mention the boss head is clearly better than fb in dungeon.
If you’re someone who usually plays sb for 5-10 hours a day get Necron but if you’re just there to collect minion and rarely play get frozen blaze

Necron is way better for stuff like slayers and dungeons especially f7 and m7 when it comes out because of the 10% damage reduced per piece, about slayers most people use a baby yeti for enderman or edrag which would ruin the point of fb.

If you can afford necron armor you probably have cookie buff too then you can just get auto pet rules and the do when entering combat spawn a blaze pet and then you can just you any pet you like
The cost in coins may be the same, but frozen blaze having no dungeons requirement is priceless.

But FB is a very great option to get into playing f7 and grind that hyperion!

Necron + Yeti is just too goated
Tbh FB is better than Necron + Edrag for archers in dungeons outside of F7 - you get 30% more EHP and lose 3-5% of damage. I own both Necron + Edrag and FB, and I use FB in mm with Terminator. However, I'd say FB isn't a budget version of Necron because you should buy FB only if you already have Necron. There is no reason to buy FB if you don't have gear for F7 and overworld. And it's actually better to buy FB for mm instead of edrag if you don't grind ender slayers.
This was the last straw. I am sick of hearing about freezing heating armour.

If same reforges, modifiers and enchants, yes, fb with even epic blaze will be better than full necron with epic edrag. Necron is only better with gdrag or leg edrag anyways.

There is no problem with switching the FB helm to a warden helm, and Even with an enderdragon pet you have STILL less ehp in necron.

Ok, so I just got myself frozen blaze and I find myself dealing less damage and whenever I left click a mob a circle of smoke comes. I also have maxed strong dragon and the dragon works better out of dungeons. I haven’t tried dungeons yet but is frozen blaze meant for dungeons? I spent 50M on this and I really don’t want to waste it.

in my tests, necron was only better once you got to an edrag. with other common pets, such as wither skeleton and tiger, necron actually is extremely close to frozen blaze. so, if you don't have an edrag, just get 3/4th fb with a blaze pet, please. it's so much cheaper, and can carry you up to about m3/m4, at which time it's probably time to get a gdrag/edrag 😂

@@akshayreddy4071 For your first point, auto pet rules exist, the only times I can think of where the base stats of fb wouldn't be enough is the void septuple or maybe t5 rev minibosses. For your second point, you should be more than capable of doing the rare griffin mobs with fbs base stats, idk about epic, and you would want to have stronger gear regardless for leg griffin mobs. Your third point is the only really valid point you have.
and griffin pet isn't that good for actually dmg and expensive because its need upgrade stone
