This is the first groom that I feel totally comfortable with having him there. He loves her sincerely and his face shows it every time he looks at her. I am very happy for them, actually all teary eyed. She looked fabulous in all the dresses. My favourite was no. 2.

yeah i don't understand what happened. he talked about putting her in a fuller skirt to make her shoulders and bust more proportioned and she looked fantastic in it, and then they went back to an even tighter skirt and with spaghetti straps that were practically cutting her shoulders off. the added off the shoulder bits on the second dress looked natural and complemented her shape, on the final dress it looked lumpy and awkward. she didn't look comfortable at all in the 3rd dress.

I love how Gok picks dresses that are under $2,000 even though he's told there is no budget. He's really after the bride's best interest instead of how much commission will be made. He also has the most beautiful dresses. Alot better than the other shows.
Generally in the UK, it’s not about the commission at all. Gok is a stylist with a big portfolio of tv work, and the consultants on the show are paid a decent salary, so it really is all about the bride, not just the sale x
Also in the UK there are loads and loads of stunning dresses for under £2000 much more than on say yes to the dress US (I had my own wedding dress designed and made for me and it didn't cost much more than £2000 and it had loads of swarovski crystals dotted all over it and the veil, which is the biggest reason why it cost that much)
@@emily.letsendbslintheuk554 there's lots of really gorgeous dresses under $2000 in the US as well, you just won't find them at a massive specialty salon in NYC like kleinfeld's. ;)

I couldn't agree more, that's why he is one of my favorites from SYTTD shows. He always makes brides look & feel beautiful inside & outside.

I thought the second dress was lovely on her but Gok knows how to dress a bride to make her feel her very best inside and out. Such a great guy.
I liked the bottom of the second dress more but the top of the 3rd dress.

I've said it in many videos, but Gok is part stylist, part magician, part psychologist, part sensitive, and part old soul. His aura changes people's perceptions. His wisdom and insight into every bride is unfailing. It's like he sees each person's insecurities within the first few minutes he meets them. Then he weaves them into beauty in the mirror, somehow, so they are the same person physically, but an entirely different person walking out of his shop.
The husband loving every dress is so cute! When I walked down the aile, my husband started to cry and smile, which I've never seen him smile and cry like that. I was smiling ear to ear on that day. It was a small wedding. The first dress I picked and tried on, I just got that feeling that it was the one. My husband said alll that day, how beautiful I looked.

How much do we love this Groom? He's positively brilliantly supportive & lovely! U can tell that they have a very special bond! He's definitely in it for the long haul & he's so grateful to have her in his life which comes thru in so many ways! She looked so beautiful...way to go Gok!!!

It is beautiful that the Groom says "what WE went through". The 3 dresses were beautiful but wow dress 2 was perfect.
After I met my husband, we learned that my temporary but already years long, very painful, mysterious back problem was actually a permanent disability. You can imagine the grief and the fear. This man's love for his wife reminds me of my husband's love for me through that and into our lives together now. Several years later, my husband became mysteriously very ill, and, after over two years of tests and procedures, was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. It was now my turn to use what I've learned as a disabled person to help him through his crisis and into this new way of being. People who love each other take care of each other. That's what we do.
Gok never makes anyone feel "small". He's such a loving soul & really seems to enjoy what he's doing. I would fly over from America to work with him if the opportunity ever arose ❤
With all she's been through, she deserves a wonderful life from now on.

Love so much about this one. The groom isn't there for himself, he's there for her. Not to control and pick, but to see her get "that glint in the eye". That they don't take advantage of the "no limit budget". And when they did the reveal on the third one - didn't think they could top the second but boy did they. And how they took her slowly through her comfort levels to get to that one.
What a wonderful couple. And a wonderful blended family. The smile on Stephen's face when he looks at Lisa is beautiful.

Exactly! It’s like Gok hears, “no budget,” and genuinely thinks, “ok, that restriction is removed,” (rather than, “aha! That’s the target now!”). It’s on the same level to him as a bride saying, “no limit to which fabric,” or, “no limit to type of neckline.” He genuinely wants the brides to feel beautiful.
