It's because of the European Union, think about how much taxes and border cost they'd have. It's sadly just a smart business idea, so just f us european people.
Loads of reasons sadly, shipping and logistics is awful dealing with the eu

Yay I finally won't have to pay ridiculous amounts for PC stamped cards. Always felt so dirty giving in to the price gouging the US sellers did to international sales.
It would be nice if all of the Pokémon Centers worldwide all carried the same things. Why does only the UK or Canada Pokémon Centers have certain promo cards that can only be purchased on the UK/Canadian website?
Great news. Can’t wait for Europe to have a Pokemon center. The language barriers might be the main reason why we don’t have one yet, with Spain having Spanish cards, germany having German cards and France having French cards. I vote for The Netherlands 😅
We get English cards anyway, I definitely wouldn't mind
not like anyone in (at least) spain gets cards in spanish anyways

The debacle surrounding the Grey Felt Hat was because the Pokemon centre were stupid enough to make it one per item instead of one per order. That was their own stuff up

Are the many South African fans of Pokémon? I thought apart from Antarctica the only continent that doesn’t have big Pokémon tournaments such as Regionals and International Championships is Africa. I also thought that South Africa has many English speaking residents so maybe that would be the next country to get a Pokémon Centre if there are many Pokémon fans in that country

Anyways. They have a PokéMon Center in Europe, just not the mainland.
UK isn’t part of the European Union. That means that you need to pay a whole lot of extras if you order anything from the UK. That makes buying from the UK pokemon center rather pointless as you’ll be severely overpaying for anything you want to get.
@@lindabroer8995 I am not sure why you are writing me this. I use to buy my Pokémon stuff from there until they left the union. A real shame.

Pokemon company needs to realize that the UK is no longer part of the EU. We need a EU Pokemon Center! It is rather annoying to get anything from the UK. We want a Pokemon center too.

europe speaks many different languages not the same as opening an english speaking site.
First
There's too many different languages and shipping would be a nightmare for a European Pokémon Center. There's 24 official languages in Europe. Imagine stocking everything a Pokémon Center carries, but x24 in volume. Next they'll make a move for a Pokemon Center China.
Not all countries have cards in their countries language though. In NL we just get English cards nowadays. Shipping shouldn’t be an obstacle either. Plenty of EU companies ship to every country within the EU borders.
