I'm so hopeful for the Applin deck. Everything has low HP which is kind of spooky in a Dragapult/Munkidori meta but being able to search multiple times in a turn can set up some really cool plays and double attacks interact really well with tools like Maximum Belt. Maybe I'm coping but I think this may see more success than the average rogue deck.
The ability to search out 1-4 cards with thwackey gives it legs! You could search out 3 cards: Arven(switch+maximum belt), iron valiant, and future booster capsule, and take out dragapult in 1 turn.
@@ryleyos4250 Kieran plus Max Belt/Defiance Band also knocks out Dragapult. The match up still seems sketchy for the bench snipe so I'm looking at the build with a 2-2 Rabsca line as a baseline
@cooperdinapoli2570 putting in rabsca feels bad though. It doesn't guarantee a better matchup, nor is it really worth. It's better to just take the L there and smash the other decks
Plus that's 4 spaces wasted, that could be put to better use for extra consistency and what not, and it's a waste of Ultra balls, because you'd rather Ultra Ball for Thwackey or Dipplin everytime in comparison.
I really like the cornerstone mask ogerpon which can't be atkd by pokemon with abilities, is a tera pokemon, oh and hits through anything when it atks because it ignores effects. That pokemon alone will destroy so much of the meta that relies so much on pokemon with abilities. But I willput together an applin thwackey deck this weekend, I saw the potential there immediately upon opening my prerelease box.

I had noticed that Fezandipiti's attack works like Shining Aria Gardevoir's, but it is a basic Pokemon but has 120 HP. It can use Bravery Charm for more HP. Would that be viable in a Gardevoir ex deck?
I just started playing during paldean fates. Made a deck right before rotation that is useless now so I made Lugia and of course it bricks and wasn’t as strong as expected unless you get the perfect draws. Love Dragapult, my fave pseudo legend so here’s hoping it plays well for me
That festival lead was annoying at prerelease.

I'm not to eager to play this game, but to collect, Pokémon is still outstanding.
Good list but ogrepon and sandy shocks both bring equal value just at different points in the game, and greninja lists should all be running either tm evo or hyper aroma
I'm wanting to play a pure ogerpon deck, using Oger's Mask to switch to different attackers. How well do you think that will perform? I'm excited to do testing.

I want to know what I can do for Glaceon. I want to use this new card because she's my fav. I feel like I could make her use the attack to make them put something else in the active.
I like the pidgeot greninja build, may build it. Pidgeot is definitely still my favorite pokemon.

It’s possible to do a Xatu and Pidgeot ex in Dragapult
Luxray ex is a possibility. Not sure how it can overcome Dragapult ex just yet 🤔.

Nobody likes this set. I am the only one made prerelease here in Genova. NOBODY LIKES OGERPON MASKS. Terrible set but for him every set is BEST SET 🤡
It has alright playables, my prerelease tournament was fun enough. I liked Ogerpon in the games so pulling a full art mask was awesome, plus my fave artist Osare did the IR for Tatsu. My point being: different people can appreciate different things. While this channel does tend to exaggerate, it’s no reason to be a bit grumpy about a card game we all love. Hope you have success in your future games 🔝🙏🏽
