This was the best presentation of this TaylorMade model of all I have seen. Your questions were so good! And Tomo’s answers were extremely clear and full of information. Being fitted while interviewing the designer of these drivers was incredibly smart. Just fantastic.
Wow Hannah want to thank you for the extremely relevant test - no rush, no un-relatable swings… great prompting to get the designer to reveal both the design keys and hints for fine tuning and shaft selection. Like the other subscribers, really looking forward to you comparing the Ping 10K, the Cally Smoke, and TM QI10 !!
Additionally Hannah, this video is the best explanation of different types on drivers heads and shaft combination. Wish others would take the time to asked the same type of questions you did and also go to the designer and manufacturer to get the answers directly.
Went for a fitting yesterday and came away with the QI10 standard with the Ventus Blue shaft, I was well pleased with the results, the Max didn't perform as well for me. I'm 71 years old and had very similar results to you, my carry was average 220/30 and total was 250/60
Flush show! Just goes to show anyone with good mechanics can fit into any driver with the right shaft combination. Great test, would be awesome to see all the numbers of the three heads and shaft together.
You make some great fitting videos and a great comparisons for some of us mortal males who are mid high handicappers. You have great speed and consistency. Shows just how bigger and stronger isnt always better especially in golf. Thanks Hannah😊
What a fantastic fitting video Hannah. I also had a fitting for the Qi10 Max yesterday which went really well and I now eagerly await delivery of my new driver so that I can get ready for the new season.
Coming out of Stealth 2 Max (same model) ordered Qi10 (Designer Series; full black out) with Ventus Blue TR 5S shaft and the 9g TSS weight ordered this a.m.. The Stealth 2 was by far the best driver I'd hit since the Ping G10. Anyone that has golfed for some years knows that (G10) was the QI10 of the early 2000's. The Stealth 2 Finally supplanted the SIM2 Max that was "point click and shoot" for me since it's release. Thank you Hannah for a fantastic video, that guy was a fountain of knowledge!!! Thanks to TM too, for keeping us in cutting edge KILLER equipment!!
How impressive was your swing. The clubs look incredible and matched with the swing provide great information for the average golfer. Thanks for all the videos.!!!
Just ordered my QI10 MAX after a driver fitting. I can't wait to receive it and try it in the simulator (winter here) until spring arrives. I have to say, you have such a great swing! 🙂
Very good 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I play off 6 and I’m 62 . I normally hit 60% of my fairways with a swing speed of 105mph but I’m still opting for the Max as it really is forgiving. The Fujikura Ventus TR shaft is somewhere between a stiff and x stiff shaft which is perfect for my swing speed. Thank you for an insightful video 👌🏻
You hit that impressively well Hannah in all its guises. As you say the Max was fantastically forgiving and long in your hands. Think you made an interesting comment on the grip and is something I am toying with
Fantastic video! So informative having Tomo right there. Just bought the standard Qi10 with the Kaili Blue 70 shaft and am absolutely crushing it straight as an arrow. Had an original Stealth and the Qi10 just blows it out of the water.
Brilliant driver! I’ve tested the Max and the standard head. Preferred the look of the standard head but you can’t ignore the consistency and forgiveness of the Max head
Yes very interesting and informative for those stat tech swingers who look intensely at the numbers and not necessarally their shot shape and how it feels off the club. I pay attention to the numbers less so than instinctual feel and ball flight and trajectory dynamics as I am a scratch low amateur but want instinctual feel built into my game. This is a fantastic review for women and girls but also for the club male golfer. Hannah does a wonderful job and asks the right questions. Her passion for the game and promoting correct swing thoughts and great golf vibes is really impressive. Well done Hannah. I pay attention to you alot now and hopefully you will inspire more young girls and women into the game. We really need them in this wonderful game of ours!!😊
Wow thank you so much that means a lot! I’m always trying to get the best information for the viewers and love inspiring more women to play and work in golf!!
That was awesome! It answered all the questions that I had about the differences in models. 1. How did they manage to make a "larger" head but still only 460cc? (carving out non-critical mass in the rear) 2. How much shallower is the face if they increased the head length at the same volume? (the faces are the same) 3. How does the "larger" head affect the aerodynamics, ie club speed ? (wind-tunnel testing is my assumption). Carbon Fiber, titanium, aero; Formula 1 meets TaylorMade). Nobody knows more than Tomo; right from the source; brilliant! Thank You! You made my decision so much easier. 'Time for me to look at shafts. :)
Really enjoyed that, very informative listening to Tomo Bystedt explaining everything and also watching your fitting. Nice to be able to relate to someone who has around the same swing speed and carry distance as myself, which helps in my opinion me make informed decisions / choices
Brilliant presentation Hannah I’m in for a fitting with TM tomorrow for a QI Max this has really been an interesting video to watch thank you. Much appreciated 👍😀
I've seen hundreds of these equipment videos. This is the ONLY ONE that directly interacted with a VP of engineering, the guy who makes all the decisions. How did you get this interview? Hannah, you're a doll.😺
Thanks for the great review Hannah! I will be looking at drivers this year, and your swing speed, spin an and launch are so similar to mine, your reviews mean so much more to me. Will be looking forward to more review as more clubs launch for 2024.
Hi Hannah, I got fitted the week before they came out, I play off 11 and just coming back from a 10 year hiatus, 57 now but can still hit them reasonably long, love your video very insightful, I tried all three, I went for the regular head, mainly for the spin results and ball speed, the max for me just didn’t feel right, I was probably a little intimidated by the LS knowing it is aimed at the better golfer, I was really interested to see how such a great golfer as you are, you were getting really good results from all 3. So far results at my club have been great, Arcoss is telling me I’m gaining shots on my drives and my handicap has come down by 3 in the past few weeks. Happy days, hopefully on target for getting back into single figures again.
Hannah as an 64 year old 'low' hcp I swing it the around the same speed94-96 mph. I love the techie part, especially about gripsize, shaftweight, headweight, grip weight aso. There is a Midsize LT grip (Less Taper like golfpride MC4+ so thicker in the lower hand) from Winn that's around 42 gram like your normally fitted undersized. Or remove some weight in the head or add weight in the but to adjust swingweight.
Great review Hannah! You got a great fitting ! I hit the LS today with 60g Diamana and was hitting it great. I put up the video on my page. I love this new driver.
Very insightful video......was on the fence with TM but this video has me seriously considering one of their drivers. Well done Hannah and well done Tomo!
Watched the Qi10 video after reading a comment in your PXG video. Not sure you were sold on this driver either. 🤔. I'm curious to see which one ends up in the bag for 2024. Looking forward for the head to head video.
I have been anxious for the reviews of the 2024 drivers to come out. I appreciate all of the reviews but they seem to rave about the LS versions of drivers as that is what’s best for them. I don’t have their speed, so I really enjoy your reviews because I have similar SS. However, I’m definitely not as consistent. Great insight on effects of grip weight and different shafts for different heads. I’m curious as to which model you chose and how it stacks up to whatever AI Smoke driver you preferred and its setup. Looking forward to future content. Keep doing what you’re doing.
LS versions do tend to go abit further but generally aren’t the full package for all golfers! sometimes an ego thing people want to play the ‘tour’ model
Hi Hannah. Great Video. My Question. The Ventus blue. Regular or stiff. Velocore or Taylormade OEM. I ask because i have the same swing speed as you and would order the Qi10 MAX.
Hi Hannah what a fasinating fitting this is! You can certain smash it down the fairway and pretty consistantly straight too. As a shall we say senior 70 plus golfer just returning to the game I would love to get anywhere near 200yards + it would be interesting if you could do a video on drivers for senior higher handicap drivers and irons. By the way are you still using the putter you did the fitting for and is it working? all the very best for 2024.
Reason many do not subscribe is it's a pain to log in via TV remotes. This was such a great review however I persisted with it. (It's a lot easier via a Computer, tablet etc but I tend to watch on the TV app.) Looking forward to you comparing the new offerings. You're Club speed is closer to mine, your consistency is better, mine was very good un til I broke my collar bone now one arm is shorter then the other I need that 10K. (Ping or tM!)
Great video H, these Qi drivers are looking like the club that's going to top the chart this year.. Maybe, hard to know at the moment but the ball isn’t changing for 8 years so for someone who plays frequently they would wear one out from this year by then
was the blue ventus (6?) the velcore? R or S? we have similar speed and local fitter said ventus velcore blue 6 R is ideal for me... may need a battle f the 10ks? Ping vs that one?
I really couldn't tell from fitting with all the compliments and him saying your numbers with LS was perfect... No more pull hooks with LS lol.... BUT by now you are already in your driver you like. Enjoy!@@nationalclubgolfer
To me the LS Model looks the best. Most review I've seen for better players there isn't much of a difference in performance between the heads. So much tech built into these new drivers.
I don’t think TM has made a decent driver since the original SIM, ironically that’s when KPS purchased TM from Adidas, they kept it for 4 years and sold it on to a Korean investment firm Centroid for $1.7BN a massive profit. Common denominator between KPS and Centroid is they are profit incentivised and short term profit at that. So the annual release policy suits the short termism and asset stripping works by reducing quality R&D. Net result, you get the truly dreadful Stealth, Qi10 yet to be assessed, albeit that the LS version is Stealth in wolfs clothing. TM are now so bad that their playing staff struggle to use the equipment, if Rory can’t use the equipment with any consistency, what chance do we have. all that said, great review of the Qi10 by you, very informative and you really stripe it, frankly you would hit any driver well. Stumbled upon your channel, I enjoyed this so have subscribed, lots of catching up to do.
The Taylor Made heads going back to the SIM all look like near carbon copys of each other. If you got rid of the different colors and the logos and asked random golfers which was which, I'd bet a LOT of people wouldn't be able to tell which is which between the SIM, the Stealth, or the 10K
The top of this club actually looks a lot different to the last few and the shaping of the Max model is very different. I think the low spin models look similar.
This was the best presentation of this TaylorMade model of all I have seen. Your questions were so good! And Tomo’s answers were extremely clear and full of information. Being fitted while interviewing the designer of these drivers was incredibly smart. Just fantastic.
wow amazing thank you!!
