You’re such a good mama ❤ I love how intentional you are with what you do with your kids. They are lucky to have you and will always remember the little moments of magic you created for them!
That’s awesome about the car! To be totally transparent I cringe at the brand new SUVs knowing people are paying almost $1k/month, when I see a mom driving an older vehicle I always think “now that person has good finances. 😎” congrats!
Please let go of that embarrassment about the car. You bought a nice one that will serve your family well. Cars are not the important things in the big picture of life!
Repping a 1999 Suburban that used to be owned by the local fire department so it is RED, but no payment is 🤌🏼 I was listening to the podcast and got to the part where you talked about the new car and giggled.
I bake a double batch of sourdough about once a week! One loaf stays on the counter and we usually eat it within 2-3 days, the other loaf I pre slice and then put in the freezer. Whenever you want a slice you just pull it out and pop it in the toaster on defrost and it tastes fresh every time 👏🏼 I know you said new recipes intimidate you but this sourdough one is my tried and true if you ever want to try a different one !! ❤️ Double batch (two loaves): 180 grams Starter 770 grams Water 1040 grams Flour (I usually do about 200 grams of that bread flour, the rest all purpose) 24 grams Salt
Sourdough tip! I will make 2-3 loaves and then stick them in the fridge and then I pull them out and bake them as needed. 2-3 usually lasts us a week-ish. That way you get lots of loaves but only have to put the work in once a week. If you are going to let it sit in the fridge for more than 24 hours, I suggest just putting some plastic wrap (lightly) over the top just to keep the crust from getting too thick.
I really love that you were so honest about getting an “older car”. I have to buy a car within the next 3 months and the only ones that will fit our budget are older three rows. Makes me so nervous to buy one after having the worst experience with a car ever.. but I’m hoping at least having a small payment or fully paid off older car will help ease the anxiety a bit! As a smaller content creator myself I find it challenging not to feel embarrassed about what life can truly look like. Especially during this inflation! Thanks for your honesty! 🤍👏🏽
Did you get a circuit joy extra bundle or buy everything separate? Are you going to try shirts/heat press? I’m trying to budget & figure out everything I need.
Thank you for normalizing buying a car you can actually afford. I think the majority of people who buy new cannot actually afford it. Let’s make smart decisions for our families!
NOT everyone is driving brand new SUVs. Everyone on *social media* is driving brand new SUVs. It’s honestly so refreshing to see someone be more relatable. Also I googled your car after the podcast episode and I think it’s so cute?!? If you acted excited about it I wouldn’t have blinked an eye and you would’ve blended in with all the other fancy moms. But we all feel this way sometimes. 😘😊
My husband and I have been trying for baby #3 for almost a year now. I hope we get pregnant at the same time again! 😂 I have June 2020 and March 2022 babies. Also having the same conversation with my husband about a new car! So funny how similar things are right now ❤
I feel you do a great job with your videos surrounding your kids. You don’t show them a ton but and nothing personal that would be embarrassing or too intimate. If you never showed your kids again it would be perfectly fine because I watch for YOU. I like seeing tidbits about everyone’s kids because I’m a mom and it’s fun but that’s not why I’m here 😊
The climate can TOTALLY change your ratios a little bit! I live in Utah and I swear my summer starter is totally different from the winter one 😅 I tend to like my sourdough doughs just a tad wet, but if it’s really gooey I would for sure add a little more flour! It’s so forgiving anyways!
Your doing great with the kids/ work and don’t feel bad about getting an older car it’s a smart decision financially, and new cars are way over priced now not a good time to get something new yet
I've been fighting an internal battle of buying a new car or not I have a 2016 two row car cross over and feel sorry for myself and my dream telluride. We don't know how much debt and what people sacrifice for a new car. My husband had to get one a while back. My coworker told me the moments that that extra income create and the things and freedom you have without a car note are irreplaceable. I will probably put 40% down for my dream car and unfortunately right now is not the moment. You did the right thing and those are NICE cars.
Im thinking you may be pregnant already! Bigger car and Nathaniel asking you how your stomach was feeling... 👀. Could be wrong haha. Also older cars are the way to go with little kids! Thats what we do too
I have a Tesla suv and as much as I love it I wish I didn’t have a car payment. That’s amazing that you won’t have one!! Sounds like you got an amazing deal! 🤎

Thank you so much Hayley 😭

I love the BTS of content creating and this video feels very different than your others. Love it!
I am so glad!! I always am afraid it’s boring 🤣

I have and couldn’t agree more🤎 just sharing honest initial thoughts

Also- I live in southern Utah so I’m also dealing with the sticky dough. I have been doing longer times between stretch and folds and less water
This is so helpful thank you!!!
I bake three loaves once a week. It works great! And then I'll do some fun recipes in between as time allows.
Okay this sounds totally doable!!
Love that u wear ur hair up more often 😁 suits you sooo well, you look pretty when ur hair is up 🌸
So I’ve made like 6 loaves at once before, cut them and freeze them & you can just put slices in the toaster and have bread for weeks!
Why haven’t j thought about this 🤣
GENIUS
The only issue is that I only have 2 Dutch ovens! The sandwich bread loaves work good too tho
I tried your bread bowl idea this week! Low maintenance I liked it
The little hand appearing during your family prayers at the end 🥹 so happy for you all. 🩷🤗

Ahhh of course girl, seriously couldn’t relate more!! Excited for you to find one that is perfect for your situation 🤎

My husband and I talk about this all the time!! Like how are people affording these cars 😅

Where did you get your jeans and top?!! I’d love to get some 🥰 also, you’re doing a great job mama

Hello from India 🇮🇳
First!
That’s so cute, my three year old son also says “yesterday” (actually ‘esterday’) for any day prior too hahah 🤍
I have a Tesla suv and as much as I love it I wish I didn’t have a car payment. That’s amazing that you won’t have one!! Sounds like you got an amazing deal! 🤎
