Wall cabinet makeover | creating a boho layered look and raised stencil with Chalk Mineral Paint

Even small projects like this can be transformed into something unique but functional for your home. My mum found this in a charity shop and my first impressions were not great. The piece had a white, glossy factory finish and the panel was plastic. But with the correct prep this was absolutely able to be painted into a boho style finish with layered Chalk Mineral Paints to enhance the existing detail and a raised stencil to give it a more interesting look.

I actually have one almost exactly like this that I've had for years, I paid $3 for it at a garage sale for my daughter and when she no longer wanted it in her room, it went into storage where it still sits. Now I know what to do with it! Love this!
