Thanks for the video.. now you showed exactly what I explained to the service advisor.. friggin idiot told me that I didn't know about my truck .drove 48 miles hwy speeds 70mph no problem .parked Vehicle for about 30-40 min.restarted Vehicle would not shift out of 2nd on a hot engine after stopping .Engine would not reave even though I had my foot to the floor. For those interested. I believe the socket size is a 25mm metric but a 1" standard depth 12 point socket works. It's just a little loose but does the job.
Thank You! Just got the part today and looking to replace it once I'm off work, this video really helps me out a lot! Running a 98 grand Cherokee and excited to get her back on the road.
I've seen alot of videos and your good at this! Keep up the good work, seriously!!
I noticed you waited until the vehicle stop chiming to crank the car. Is that how we're supposed to be cranking cars? I just stick my key in and go. Just had to replace a fuel pump too so when I seen you pause before you crank I'm thinking maybe that's what I need to start doing

Well I hate to tell you brother but I just changed both sensors in my Dakota and its the opposite. The output sensor will not seat all the way, bout the length of that little nose in front. But it will seat in the back.

Yes I’ve heard it’s the right way to start the vehicle in the older 2000s models
The fuel pump primes when you fist turn to the on position, for a few seconds
What was the truck doing that you knew it was bad besides the engine light being on?
Mine would act like it was in limp mode. Not going anywhere. Rpm 4-5. Thought I needed a trans.
