Thank you so much for this video. Your footage was easy to understand and so was your talk; about the problems this little sucker cause. Now I know how to fix my buddys Voyager, with similar symptoms and problems. Keep up with this kind of videos.👍
Thank you very much for the video and good info , worked like a charm for me . If not for your informative video , I would have taken it in to a repair shop . Saved me moola , thank you.
This happened to my '03 Grand Caravan last year. It started with an intermittent misfire and speedometer needle going crazy. Not long after it threw a P0720 code, the transmission would not shift out of first gear. I then replaced the output shaft speed sensor, and it was fine for almost a year. Then it happened again, so I simply cleared the code with a scan tool and the transmission resumed to normal operations. That lasted about two weeks. Then after I'd clear the code, it would come back within 10 minutes of driving. *** Some threads I've read indicate that the connector itself may be the problem. It's under the battery (and subject to corrosive acid) and the wires come in at such a sharp angle that they can actually break inside the insulation. I ordered another sensor (they're only $20) and also ordered a Standard F65001 connector for about $25. I got to mine by removing the battery and the battery tray and removing one bolt from the cooling system reservoir so I could move it to the side. That might be the better bet if you're going to replace the connector too because it's much easier access to the harness - just trim back about 4-5" of the tape, splice the new connector in, and tape it up really good. I should know by this weekend if this fixes it once and for all.
@@Brandon-21MN It did not. It ended up being the damn alternator! The vehicle would need to be jumped after it sat for a few weeks, but no other indication that it was a charging system problem. I threw a reman from Rock Auto on there and it runs like a champ.
@@kevinyoung6067 oh damn well thanks I've had some people tell me this so i threw a good junkyard oem Denso one on and it didn't fix yet hope I get mine fixed soon 🙏
Great video you go girl I’m a female trying to research everything too straight forward and trying to save another money I like that I own a 2006 dodge magnum which threw a p0700 code as well as p0404 egr along with secondary low voltage system meaning low battery voltage so check my battery hasn’t given me any issues starting unless I leave my door open and forget interior lights anyway watched some videos and next morning wiggled electrical connectors and started it cel lights were off but still really hesitating rom at 40mph when between 1.5 and 2.0 really bad mild jerking or like cruise control switch turning on and off activating a vacuum and deactivating really strange afraid to do more damage but I’m stuck at moment
I have an 08 Toyota Sequoia with sluggish transmission and hiccups while shifting like you mentioned I just purchased the output sensor and will be replacing tomorrow. Will let you know if that fixes it. For reference I have P0894 and C1201 codes
Yup, rebuilt my '11 kia sportage tranny with new friction discs. Didn't work. Replaced all the solenoids. Same problems. Changed to Valvoline SP4 full synthetic. Same problems. Now the 0731 gear ratio error pops up and slips on 1st gear and it looks like it was just the speed sensors all along. It can't be the friction plates. I just replaced them. MAN! I just ordered new speed sensors on Amazon and will arrive next week and I will finally see what happens. You live and learn I gue$$. I was thinking of taking apart the manifold body and maybe rebuilding that, but, nah for now.
make sure you change tranny filter mopar fluids only and speed sensors mine still have a lill thump from time to time after all change with solenoid pack but it dont stall anymore and left me stranded
