This movie is pure Hollywood fantasy, hon-even Julia Roberts doesn't look like this first thing in the morning. In the real world, you have your *own* beauty-and it doesn't depend on being a size 6.

That specific diet will not do much for every obese person anyway. Dieting usually comes with its own health implications and you can't just randomly pull one out the air, without taking into account very important factors first. I understand your only trying to help, but it's also psychological usually and is their choice and has to be done correctly with them fully participating.

That's why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, you never know who they might be. Used to work in retail(clothing),every time a certain older lady came in the manager would say I dont want to deal with her. So, I did. She was nice,she might have spent alot of $$ or none at all. It didnt matter,word of mouth w/ negativity spreads faster than being nice. And its called Respect for the customer and the elderly. Had a Pastor and her sister,mom come in later in the evening(they were from NJ). All very nice and helped them,suggested this and that. The Pastor ended up buying alot,not only for herself,but Mom/Sister too. Applied for a CC,saved some $$. The sister came out and offered me a 50.00 bill for being so nice. Unfortunately we couldnt except gifts or $$. And it was pleasure to help them. I believe what goes around , comes around.Karma? Nope,its just called showing kindness and respect w/out wanting or expecting something in return.

This dress might be my favorite in the movie. Costume designer Marilyn Vance says: "I had gold and black lace, and I tried out different under colours - black, nude, gold - before deciding on black. I cut out the neckline to fall on the shoulders, as this opened out the neckline, which was more flattering on Julia’s narrow shoulders. I also made a bolero to go with the dress, and while she didn’t wear it in the scene, you can see it on the chair. They copied it in the garment district, and I wish I had a dollar for every copy they sold.”
You can barely see the dress in that lighting and it looks like she draped an old lace remnant around her neck. The other outfits were all outstanding imo.
