You can do some cool things with a 360 cam. What i've always wanted to do is the back scorpion tail type mount with a 360 mounted in the rear of a 5 inch.

Yo Ed, you my brother that just how I feel. I have a question, Shooting at night on the insta360 x3 any recommendation, setting wise? or you have a video on your channel I will watch it. Only here to support my brother 100%
The X series is straight up trash at night. If you are going to do it, I would switch to 24 fps, shutter at 1/50, white balance locked at 4500K or 3500K depending on your tone preference, and most importantly auto ISO but with a limit up to ISO 800 max. The insta360 Ace Pro has a night mode feature and that camera shines at night, or the DJI Action 4 with night mode enabled. Hope this helps.

No problem 👍 I use the X2 on my Onyx RCR bike and will be using the X4 now. I think it’s a great choice for Moto vlog, you would need a mic however.
It seems i can see a line in the video around 5:50 i think the mounting position may have the top lens directed at the sun vs the bottom one being at the opposing angle. (no sun) Then, when it combines the videos from each lens it becomes noticeable. making the line im seeing.

I have the X3 and love it, and bought now the X4. Going to send it back - as the difference is minimal if at all. I don't see a difference in the video quality or image quality. Also with the 8k, the video will be grainy and zooming in is out of the question.
The X3 is a big update over the X2 - but the X4 is just marginal. The only differences I like are that you can take a photo with a hand gesture and that it's somehow faster (still far from being fast - it still takes a while to save photos and videos and be ready for the next one).
So it's going back. All those millions of videos that came on one day are from influencers that got it for free. So wait until the real reviews from real users come.
I think if I was an owner of the X3, I would still buy the X4 for the improved dynamic range, larger screen and the true 4K export in ME Mode.
Thanks for the unbiased review. Is it possible to have an output from insta360 X4 without the distortion like the videos taken on osmo pocket 3 ? Or is the distortion comes with the 360 lens teritory and it's an obligation to have a fisheye view with the distortion?
Hey There! Yes, it is possible. You can either use a single lens or if in 360 mode make sure your angle is set to dewarp.
Came here for the x4...leaving wanting the osmo 😂. Wondering if you got the Ray-Bans to pair with the X4
Pocket 3 is so good! I am going to test soon. I did test the DJI Mic and it binds really easy.

Congrats on getting the new Insta360 X4, it seems like a solid upgrade, considering that it offers 8k video and many other new features and upgrades. I look forward to seeing more reviews of it when you receive all your accessories. And on a side note Insta360 just upgraded their desktop app to make it easier to edit your videos in post. Hey there great video!! Mine has gotten extremely hot while transferring files to my computer. Other than that I have had no other issues other than I cannot find the premium lens guards and the battery last a very long time!
I ordered the premium lens guard directly from insta360. Why is your camera getting hot? I take out the microsd card and transfer via a usb card reader.
@@MrEddieNunez I guess that would be the better solution to remove the SD and use a reader to transfer. They are currently sold out of the premium lens guards. I ordered this a.m. from Alliexpress, though!
they make 1/4 inch thread attachable tripod legs you could add to that existing selfie stick btw
Yes I saw, but I needed a new stick anyways and the tripod only was $5 less i believe.

@MrEddieNunez Thank you again. I was trying to pass some tourist and my arm bumped into a pole. Just as I took off the rubber lens cap. The lens broke the camera fall.
