Lovely home you have created. So warm and cozy. Great touch on the windows...too bad you couldn’t make them removable for easier cleaning. Keep the fantastic ideas coming!
Super excited I found your channel! I have super large windows in a ranch style home and was looking for ways to add some architectural interest to them to get a more craftsman style feel!😍❤... can't wait to get it started!
This was great thank you. Do you think I could do the outside of my windows also? Or would the weather get to it I wonder? It would be for my garden room 😊
I suggest you paint the side of your fridge white to match your cabinets. I did this in my kitchen and it has lightened it up as well as causes it to blend better into the kitchen.
Looks amazing, LOVING the trim around your window ...Will you be putting a white tie up curtain on the window ? You could just get a tension poll as to not cover-up the gorgeous trim ????
Oh I SO wanted to show video from the outside!! Maybe I can in my stories over on Instagram to give people an idea...yes you can slightly see glue but it dries clear.
Ooops..wasn't done replying! It dries clear but it's not super noticeable. I will try to share the outside on my blog at some point so people can see!:)
So I'm watching this video for the 3rd time because I'm going to stain wood railing the same as your window. When I mixed up the stain formula it's coming out more of a grey and I don't see that in your window frame. Does it pull more grey and the camera is deceiving?
Hello Andrea! I'm new to your channel and have fallen in love with your decorating style! I was hoping you could share with me where your kitchen light fixtures are from. Thanks!
Just FYI to everyone, tape long term on a window will damage it! Please look up other peoples experience before you do this with tape, because it could decrease your homes value! Especially if you just put in new windows! However the look is really gorgeous!
These are called muntins. Nothing at all French about it. Looks good, though. All windows should have muntins. Depending upon the age of the home, there are specific numbers of muntins that go in windows. 18th century, for example, often has 12 over 12. Most homes these days have 8 over 8 or 6 over 6. Craftsman style homes have muntins on the upper sash only. It's generally 3 over 1 or 6 over 1. Another example is Tudor revival, which often has diamond shaped muntins. Often, when people put new windows in (which you should never do if your windows are original to the house), they don't take the muntin arrangement into account, and it ruins the looks of the house.
Given your sons, has your husband considered getting his tattoos removed? There might be someone in your/your father’s church/denomination that might offer a discount.
vivaldi, Are you making a judgment call on tattoos? I don't care for them, but it is a personal choice and obviously this man likes tattoos. Let's keep the comments to the decor ideas and not pick on someone.
This is like when my wife finds a "super simple" project but for some reason I'm always the one who does the work.
Lol
😅🤣😂love it woman after my own heart
Absolutely love the addition of trim to make windows look like they have panes. Can't wait to try it. Thanks!
Thanks. And we thank the guy who actually did it.
Very nice, Andrea! This looks relatively easy, and you give nice easy to follow instructions. Windows look wonderful. ❤️
Thank you Cindy!! :)
I love this idea so much! Are you still able to open the window?
Just so beautiful. I love your home. Its so beautiful and warm and cozy. You and your husband are super talented. Great tips thank you. Tfs
Oh my goodness thank you so very much! :)

Love this! Your home is so sweet and inviting! Love it!
Thank you so much Jennifer! :)
Just what I’m looking for!
I would have done horizontals the entire way across the window. the verticles will help hold them in place.
Thanks so much for sharing this! I will be doing this today and can’t wait!
that is a good hack!!! especially if you have those black metal frames they put in all the city buildings... Thanks!!!!
What a cool idea..I am going to do this on my kitchen windows..keep the ideas and inspiration coming..thanks much 🌸 🌼
Aww yay!! That makes me so happy! :)

Beautiful. You have a lovely cottage home.
Looks fantastic!!!
Thank you!! :)

They look great! Love your home it’s so beautiful. New to your channel, I have been really enjoying all you share.
Oh thank you Tammy! That means so much! :)
Hi Andrea, I just found this video. Can you use a paint brush for the sealer glue so that it hides the glue? My windows are lower
Such a clever idea. Love the trim and stone wall also. 😍
Thank you so very much!! :)
Just love your ideas, and your home.
Do they get super dusty and require a lot of cleaning? Just curious since it isn’t “in” the window.
How are they holding up? Thank you!

Yes!! I am trying to convince my husband that we need to do this hehe...but I totally agree! I'd love to hide the fridge somehow! :)
Cute! What makes this "French"?
These are permanently installed? Doesn’t bother you when it’s time to clean the windows?
What have you used for your kitchen walls? is that a wallpaper?
Does it let you open the window properly?
Exactly what I've been looking for! Do you think this would work okay with sliding windows?
Oh good!! Yes I think it should! :)
Looks amazing, LOVING the trim around your window ...Will you be putting a white tie up curtain on the window ? You could just get a tension poll as to not cover-up the gorgeous trim ????
How does this look from the outside? Can you see the ‘glue’? I love this!

I like the before
Exactly what I need to do but here is the caveat ~ I want to use a different colour ~ so I’d have to paint the metal frame ~ how??

Nice.
What stone did you use ? I love it
Great idea!

Can you get that quick seal in clear?
Up or video SKIPPED over “ how to attach the horizontal snd vertical pieces together? Where snd how do they join and what do you use to join them?
Oops never mind I see you used quick seal
What you made are called muntins.
Yes, thank you so much! :)
