High Evolutionary and Psycho Man were must haves for me. They're both contenders for my top 10 this year. On the other hand Sue's head sculpt is a contender for worst ever. I hope that every FF wave isn't gonna be saddled with the entire FF. That'll severely limit the number of other FF characters we get each year. I'd very much like to see Mole Man, Diablo, Wizard, Red Ghost, Annihilus etc. But more than anything I'd like spikey Thing and She Thing. They're a must for me.
Ya know, I love Robo and the Fwoosh because of how positive it always is. If he doesn’t like a figure, he doesn’t throw it at a wall and yell about how much it sucks, while Robo just voices his complaints and goes on with the review. This is also why I like Shartimus, Xmanny, MCU collector, etc.
Collectors are paying top dollar for mediocre products, and they have every right in the world to voice their displeasure at being ripped off. You enjoy paid shills like these because you and they are part of the problem. Full stop.
I took the retro hair and put it on the Super Skrull wave headsculpt for mine, looks sooooo much better, and like, that actual head is bigger than the retro headsculpt, so the hair doesn't feel as massive on the Super Skrull wave headsculpt.
I wouldn't even call Sue's head a 'throwback': I'm dead positive the whole design is taken from Adam Hughes' art from the cover of 2019's Invisible Woman mini-series, issue #1
I'm a long-time fan but wasn't planning on watching this one since I'm mainly a SW fan, but I'm glad I had my UA-cam on autoplay. Had several much needed laughs from this one. Thanks Robo! :D
I love scientist Reed. Great addition. Psycho Man is a bananas design translated perfectly into plastic. Sue is an atrocity they should visit The Hague for creating. Thing is fine, but the original Walgreens exclusive had the best paint by far. This November I'm thankful for the High Evolutionary who we've needed for a while. Now I want the mutates from the Savage Land that included the more animal-like version of Toad. May 2022 be the year of Toad!
This version of the thing from a few years ago is one of the best figures hasbro has ever made. I don’t have any reason to buy another but I’m glad they released it again.
Excelentes figuras, deberían sacar más! Y hay muchos personajes tales como el Dr. Doom, Klaw, el Hombre Molécula, el Hombre Topo, Anahalius, Blaastar, Super Skrull, el Mago, el Trampas, y muchos más!
I was amazed to see these figures release here in the UK already. Currently I've only picked up Psycho Man since I like his design and looks amazing next to the recent Kang figure (never heard of the character before it was announced though minus Veebs' wish list). I want to get the main team but I already have the Super Skrull wave versions, and whilst I prefer these classic looks I'm trying to cut my spending down a bit so I think I'll give it some time, see if they go on sale eventually. The High Evolutionary looks cool, no attachment to him but the detail combined with the marbleized plastic makes it look so much like Alex Ross art, to me at least. That and Reed gives me hope for a Doctor Connors figure with that lab coat, it'll never happen but I'd love more non-powered characters from Spider-Man's universe in figure form (Aunt May, Harry Osborn etc.)
@@OmarAhmed-sq7cr I was against it because I did a custom paint job on the Thing from that set which I'm really proud of, but seeing that ultra modern team standing between my classic Avengers and Jim Lee X-Men is eating away at me. I finally put a few Marvel Legends up on eBay so I'm leaning towards selling them and buying these ones.
Not sure if anyone else had this problem but after swapping Mr Fantastic's arms and hands a few times, the peg in the right non power hand came straight out. I guess Reed is so Fantastic that the joint wanted to emulate his power :P
Same thing happened to me on the left, I just put a needle through the peg and through the ends of the plastic and glued on either side, it works pretty well but I'm still really careful with it
You're right, man - the Avengers annual with the Evolutionary War was very cool. I think it was the randomness of the ad-hoc, one-off team (Jocasta and other b-tier characters that didn't get any real comic action in mid-1980's). Marvel annuals used to be awesome.
Robo,I feel the next time you start going over the articulation, you should have some good old fashion square dance fiddling playing in the background. 😆
I noticed that Hasbro is using for the toy card design from the animated series of The Fantastic 4 and Spider-Man which Toy Biz used back in the 1990s.
I’ve been so on the fence about picking up the thing, only bc I don’t wanna just get one of the fanatic four, maybe I’ll get him and a hulk to pose together
Thing - Never saw the OG Walgreens Thing. Still looks cool. Nabbed the re-release, tho, which is fine for me, don't NEED this new one. "Oh my Sweet Aunt Petunia!"face! LOL Reed - Lab Coat is all new, I believe? Need another rem.arm figure to make Banner or Pym, etc. Needed stretch arms, maybe a stretch torso? (Now I need a Roy Hinkley!) Sue - Seen her, passed on Karen/Debbie face. Needed more invisible accys. Johnny - Same. just not feeling him. Maybe head swap with extra Reed body?? Psycho - Got him this past week. Did not open him, yet. Looks Nice, tho. I can't help thinking he might have been better as a slightly larger BAF? Herbert - FINALLY!! I'm still surprised as many minor characters we got in 5" ToyBiz, we NEVER got him! This is Wyndham's FIRST action figure! I tried to custom him in 90s with a spare IM, but....meh, even for me. Toy shop told me these are shipping 6/case, so one full wave, no extras, so there's that. Target getting solid cases is NOT helping, either.
Now Robo, you already know that there are two modern costumes left to produce. The white costume run from the FF run when Spider-Man took Johnny’s place and it is another reason to use three of the four molds and yet another Spider-Man. And that will lead to breaking out the ant man mold and possibly a build a dragon man build a figure and then the final FF costume the red and black in there 2015 run just before they went away for two years. And in that run the final Dr Doom rerelease of the infamous Doom. Yes Walgreens had it but now for a general release. And that will round out the five major FF costumes and get five different mold uses making hasbro a happy chappy . And smiling all the way to the 75% profit bank👍
Hopefully they won't be as hard to find as the first FF wave from Walgreens. I was able to get the black and blue suit FF but The Thing didn't come with those extra hands, that's really what I'm looking for.
The gray in Reed's hair goes higher in this figure because the other one is of the younger Reed from the 60s and this is an older Reed from the 80s. Yeah, that must be it. 😗
Good luck finding a Reed and Grimm with better painted heads. I've seen 6 Reeds out in stores and they all look like the one I got in the mail from Target, just like your Reed. Grimm I've never seen in a store, but mine looks very much like yours just a bit worse. It appears that Hasbro used the same paint set up as the previous F4 releases and made no attempt to improve them.
I picked Invisible Woman up for about six bucks today at target, and I think the face looks pretty good. I think I’m going to reuse it as Cover Girl in G.I. Joe…
only thing with Thing is I dunno why they bothered to put any short sculpt on the legs. He has the underwear look so it would be done right to just have all rock legs, id think
Robo, did you get the Dr Doom figure from the same series? I believe it was released much earlier than these...it may have been a separate "test the waters" figure??
I will never, ever get tired of Bright White.
my favourite Fwoosh Joke Bright White 😆
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Robo, and everyone in the comments!
And a happy Thanksgiving to you too
The new sue hair fits on the super scrull baf wave sues head sculpt very nicely and is easy to do... looks so much better
Even though it was a tiny bigger the Walgreens Sue head works great as well. I swapped over the hair onto that without issue.
Now there needs to be a Psycho Man opposite character called Carisma Man with Courage, Confidence, and Love. Thanks for the idea Robo!
3:08 why can I see Ben being into opera and would totally be in character for him to break into song.
High Evolutionary and Psycho Man were must haves for me. They're both contenders for my top 10 this year. On the other hand Sue's head sculpt is a contender for worst ever.

If they do Red Ghost then I'd be up for his Super apes. They'd look amazing.
Need the frightful four as well.
@@bri55118 Absolutely.

lmao the Watcher peeking in from the top left. Great review as always!
I randomly find myself checking to see if my legends can kick their own butt now thanks to you.
If you do the hair swap, please do a video on it. I would love to see how that is done, and really would like to see that hair on a better face.
I took the retro hair and put it on the Super Skrull wave headsculpt for mine, looks sooooo much better, and like, that actual head is bigger than the retro headsculpt, so the hair doesn't feel as massive on the Super Skrull wave headsculpt.
Absolutely THE GREATEST reviewer.
Now I'm going to be having nightmares of Mister Fantastic chasing after me with his stretchy fingers shouting "tickle-tickle fight".
Happy ThanksGiving from Florida ROBO. GOD BLESS
I wouldn't even call Sue's head a 'throwback': I'm dead positive the whole design is taken from Adam Hughes' art from the cover of 2019's Invisible Woman mini-series, issue #1
Holy shit, you're right! That's spot on what it is.
@@direktFF Now if only it actually looked pretty, like Adam Hughes art...
Once you find a replacement for the invisible woman. Could you show it off in the next play day.
I'm a long-time fan but wasn't planning on watching this one since I'm mainly a SW fan, but I'm glad I had my UA-cam on autoplay.

Robo I love your reference to 'mmmm'
Happy T Day. That's hilarious, I loved that issue as a kid. Just got my Hercules a few weeks ago. Have a great day.
It's just a constant tickle party when Reed's around 😂
I just got thing holy crap he is heavy in the package
This version of the thing from a few years ago is one of the best figures hasbro has ever made. I don’t have any reason to buy another but I’m glad they released it again.
If you have an extra Skrull BAF Sue, you can tear the hair off that and swap it with this Sue, it looks REALLY good.
LOVE THE WATCHER JUST KEEPING AN EYE ON THE REVIEW !
Would love to see Sue with her super short Byrne hair
Excelentes figuras, deberían sacar más! Y hay muchos personajes tales como el Dr. Doom, Klaw, el Hombre Molécula, el Hombre Topo, Anahalius, Blaastar, Super Skrull, el Mago, el Trampas, y muchos más!
Great overview! You really “kneed” it!
Top left!… freaked me out for a moment!… and I love it! Like when you find it!
... “does 90 to much brick there”. Another great video
Happy thanks giving fwoosh great review

You could sell the superskrull versions and buy these. But I respect that.

That Avengers Annual was also one of my favs as a kid too!
Love these! I have 2 of each (one for in package and one for out of package). Can't wait for the flame off Johnny and the invisible Sue!
Another great review! Looking forward to seeing what solution you come up with for the Sue figure.
I died laughing when he said tickle tickle fight 😂
I might only get the Thing one to customize into a Zombie Thing for a Marvel Zombies display
The Walgreens Fantastic Four... ESPECIALLY the Thing..are by FAR the BEST Marvel Legends Fantastic Four team..
PERIOD!
Your videos never fail to make me happy. I love them and i always learn something from every video too. ❤
I would love to see how you take the hair off of Sue's head without ripping up the plastic. I've been wondering how to do that for a long time now.
Robo, you are the norm in an abnormal time. I salute you sir.
We need a new F4 She-Hulk and a stretchy body Mr. Fantastic...or at least Hasbro Pulse should sell bendy parts.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone hope you have a wonderful day and be safe out there
oh yeah it's always a Great when Robo uploaded a new Video LET'S GO!!!
Great review!! Thanks for this. I'll stick with my Walgreens though.
Love the tickle fight intro.
Great review! Thanks!
I just order the thing, great review Robo!
now that i look at it invisible womans head isnt that bad so now i have my fantastic 4
Glad to have ya back my friend =)
Yay a new upload can’t wait for the part 2 video of all the pulse exclusives
"I loves me some metal studs"19:57 ,Well we know now what he's into.

I swapped the hair on the new Sue with original Sue head. Soooo much better.
These are the costumes from the issue where they give Spider-Man the bombastic bag man suit with the kick me sign
Can’t wait to get these next to galactus!
Sue's head sculpt falls somewhere inbetween Renee Zellweger's super hot "Empire Records" days and her current mid-life..... look.
Thing - Never saw the OG Walgreens Thing. Still looks cool.
Nabbed the re-release, tho, which is fine for me, don't NEED this new one.

Might try a lady Jae head since you can already remove top of the head for the hat look
think you should try an am swap with the Ronan BAF wave Reed with the new one.
Happy Thanksgiving Robo 🦃🦃
Where does the stretched Mr. Fantastic come from? Just curious
I’ve been trying to find an old sue head to swap out on this one, but I can’t find one 🙁
I’m going to get the sue, reed, the thing, and powered down Johnny figures.

Can you switch the chest of the new and stretch Reed?

Hello nice video
Psycho man is the long Lost brother of Mongul.
Just picked up psycho man for £7.99
