Victorias tweet: My husband says “It should actually be Old Goosepimples Arm. ‘Goose bumps’ is an Americanism.”
So that’s our pillow talk sorted for the weekend.
ha ha, sounds correct.
I love watching Victoria argue back to Greg and try to win back points. Her intellect is phenomenal. To turn it over to try and argue about Goose bumps is wonderful.
You could try The Big Fat Quiz of the Year. It has the usual suspects and is hosted by Jimmy Carr.
The first series of Taskmaster NZ is back on UA-cam, definitely worth a watch.
Towards the end of the year you might enjoy checking out The Big Fat Quiz of the Year. And then they usually also do The Big Fat Quiz of Everything right after the New Year.
Never knew Morgana before this, but she is quickly becoming my spirit animal.
Mine is Victoria
I know that the sentence "Morgana is made of sex" doesn't make any sense, but yet somehow it does
@@robvanriot At times she looks old, but strangely, it works for her. She's crazy sexy.
Morganna was in "Toast Of London" thats the only place i have seen her. I'm sure she has done tons more, and she clearly has, but if you can snip hair from Vic Reeves, you are doing something right.
@@robvanriot yeah, it sorta does, she goes there......
Just like Taskmaster NZ series 2, the cast is everything. All the best series have a great set of contestants, they don't have to be the best known, they just have to blend and work well. This series is right up there with the best of them.
I recommend the norwegian version of taskmaster, you can find it on youtube with subtitles and it's damn good.
I approve. Norway did a good job capturing the spirit of TM. Versions with English subtitles are available :)
I'll third that! 'Kongen Befaler' really is good and feels like old school Taskmaster. Boy are Norwegians good with power tools!
Fourthed! "Kongen Befaler" makes the Norwegians look very silly. It's great!
Yes, it's amazing! Of all the foreign language versions, it's the best.
Champion of Champions is coiming out soon too!
Thank You for sharing. I have been able to watch every season but I can’t find all of season 12. Glad I found you. Willow from Las Vegas 😄
You are so welcome!
Alan mentioning Wem and Greg's favourite wine, Greg's eyes lit up like a kid a Christmas
Wow, that was a quick turnaround! I watched the episode before bed and woke up to find this.
I would have won the goosebumps challenge in one second.
I can intentionally shiver and give myself goosebumps any time I want.
Loved this episode - but I'm really gutted that the series is nearing an end.
40 small wrapped gifts. What`s in them?, well you have to win to find out.
Did anyone notice the "Duck me " comment from Greg at the end?
The soldier is Ed...the pianist on the Horne Section.
Is that his name?
People of "ASMR" get "tingles" basically we can get goosebumps on command just by thinking about what gave us the tingles and goose bumps "rushing" like a song, or situation that triggered it in the past. We can turn it on and off.
Suggestion: Considering that you seem to have forgotten entirely about the early seasons you watched (what with not remembering any of the contestants when they appear on other shows), just rewatch series 2, 4, 5 or 7 😁
I can’t remember any of the earlier series either. I wish they’d reuse some of the same tasks. I’ve not been that impressed with some of the tasks this series.
Oooh yes! That would be fun!
@@travelwell6049 I think this series has been disappointing overall
@@oisquidyx this has been my favourite post covid series
@@neil_9000 I preferred the Mike Wozniak series
Probably my favorite episode of the season, if not ever.
I do think Ol' Goosebumps Arm was hard done by in this episode. It may be blatantly unfair, but it's funny!
QI to fill in the gap? WILTY, Taskmaster and QI. The tri-factor.
I think you mean the trifecta.
why not try no more jockeys! It's a little game show thingy by Tim Key (season 1), Mark Watson (season 5), and little Alex Horne! All episodes are on their UA-cam channel. It really is quite hilarious
Another great episode. Would be pretty fun playing the walking backwards game at home. Was thinking you might be able to do a DIY / fisher price version of that game yourselves using 2 phones, video calling and a bit of skilled crafting!
I think all they did is pair a GoPro to a mobile as well and use the GoPro app for the display. So your version wouldn't be so far off anyway.
I would have kicked butt at the goosebumps task. How I can give myself goosebumps:
1) Remember being cold.
2) Think about being in pain in sensitive extremities (breaking fingers or toes or feet or hands).
3) Listen to someone with a powerful voice singing an emotional song.
But, yeah, I can give myself goosebumps in about 3 seconds flat by doing any one of those things. And then I do a full body shiver/tremor, and voila.
For the goosebumps task I’d’ve got Alex to tear apart some polystyrene. Gets me every time.
For me, it's fingernails on a chalkboard. Instant goosebumps!
No word of a lie I've always been able to get goosebumps on command, just think about biting into an ice lolly and boom like a plucked goose
Just watched the final episode...without giving anything away....the final task is the best thing on this series...I was nearly on the floor...crying lol.
The 2nd Champions Of Champions will be on before the new year!
Neil, "that's harsh" is Doc's line.
Cheating a little? Is that like a tiny bit pregnant?
Your channel is awesome u always have great insight 👍 keep it up 🤠🇨🇦🍻👋⭐
Thank you so so much! :)
Can’t believe no one listened to music for goosebumps
I would have just watched Germany 1-5 England. The commentary gets me every time.
The contestants for the next series have already been announced so hopefully it won't be to long of a wait
Check out the Swedish or Norwegian Taskmaster series. They're subtitled now
David Mitchell will probably not be on Taskmaster, because he's leading "Outsiders" (show really similar to Taskmaster).
Yes, it is totally a taskmaster rip off. Still funny, but I fast forward lot of it. Jamal Maddix in the hide and seek scene was genius, I laughed so much!
The Norwegian TM is quite good, the Swedish and Finnish versions are Ok (guest format is different) but I couldn't get on with the Spanish version.
Taskmaster TOC 2 is due up soon
There's a really odd contraption that you look through like the goggles they are wearing but all it does is swap your left and right eyes... It's the most strangest thing you can do without hallucinogens.
It's really too strange to explain but a round object like a ball isn't round anymore it's an opposite of a sphere. My brain is hurting just trying to talk about it. it's like 3d objects are like negative 3d.
Like way Alan put thought into first task,Alex feeling awkward blow down neck
Victoria trending old goosebumps arm ,one fav epoisode but love last game better if not team game poor Alan need I say more
You should watch taskmaster nz season one. I’ve tried finding American taskmaster it’s really difficult I couldn’t find it.
Ah, there you are old goose bump arm, up yours Greg 😜
I think Victoria should have called Alan ... :D
I think it was harsh not allowing ol' goosebumps arm! VCM had a point by saying that if a book title would've counted, then her visual interpretation should have.
Also, although not her fault for using the sight advantage, Morgana was significantly faster in a time trial for it, and, dare I say, it was less entertaining!!
Like you, so sad that there's only one episode left! 😢
I *still* haven't managed to clap in time with you at the beginning
I'd call someone and mute whilst I was doing the odder tasks.
You should definitely do New Zealand season 1. I think it’s better than season 2.
Definitely worth a watch. 4 great contestants and some excellent tasks. And Paul's brother too.
I totally disagree with the idea that it's better than NZ 2, but it's sure as hell better than USA.
It's extremely unfortunate that Morgana got blindfolded incorrectly, but this has happened, to my recollection, twice before, where a contestant got an unfair advantage through no fault of their own. Al Murray paying off Alex when he said he wouldn't do so in Series 3, and Kerry Godliman getting the "draw a big circle" task when it happened to be snowing outside in Series 7. Ultimately, the precedent is set that you can't penalize a contestant for something outside of their control that happened to work in their favor, it's not their job to handicap themselves in the name of fairness. It's not outside the realm of possibility for Alan, Guz, or Desiree to have a dramatic comeback in the finale, but it's absolutely Morgana's golden head to lose.
Earlier this series, Goosebump Arm asked Alex about the definition of a "sand bridge", and Alex essentially said that it has to be identifiable as "the sand bridge". I think the same applies to goosebumps. The book is identifiable as Goosebumps, and what she drew on her arm would sooner be identifiable as psoriasis.
I share your experiences of secondhand discomfort while watching TV. I know I often find myself muting through scenes of excessive awkwardness on some shows, though your solution of getting yourself put on hold was nothing short of sublime.
13:48 the back of your nape would be redundant no?
If you like Guz Khan, then you should check out 'Man like Mobeen', it's a sitcom, and it's brilliant.
I like guz, but man like mobeen is terrible
@@oisquidyx Respectfully you are wrong.
@@pilgrimageintothepast6086 in your opinion, just like I think it’s shit
You still have around 8 series of taskmaster you could react to, you would be missing out on some great moments if you do not like the pistachio éclair.
Also the only good thing on taskmaster US is Freddie also known as the guy who played Charlie Bucket in the 2005 Charlie in the chocolate factory movie.
Ooh, is that mini TV thing a blade runner prop?
The screen just over his left shoulder? That's a replica PIP-Boy from the Fallout game series.
Watching this, I had only one question. At what point in her life has Victoria learned the term 'VAR'?
Only thing I didn't like about this episode was the only person that could really challenge desiree was Morgana and they got put on the same team so could never of won
Do you mean could always have won. If the two people you deem to be the best players are together then of course they will win. 🤷🏽♀️
@@travelwell6049 What i think they mean is as Morgana was the only person in a position to overtake Desiree at the end, as soon as they were on the same team in the final task Desiree had effectively won the episode. Morgana had no chance to win as her score for the task would always be the same as Desirees.
40 things on a towell, joints or shots??
You can watch the Norwegian Taskmaster, it's subtitled well and is rather decent
I can highly recommend taskmaster norway (no i dont speak norwegian either, it doesnt matter, the subtitles are good), its the second best taskmaster according to my totaly impartial and clearly true list:
5 Points Taskmaster UK
4 Points Taskmaster norway +1 Special point because health and safety does not seem to be a thing in norway :P
3 Points Taskmaster NZ
2 Points Taskmaster Finnland
1 Point Taskmaster Sweden (Lord Davies would be dissapointed)
No points because its existance is quite rightly denied and shall not be mentioned.....caugh caugh us...
This was Alan's lowest scoring episode of the whole series, and I think the harsh scoring of the live task has taken him out of the running to win it. An eight point gap isn't insurmountable but it would rely on Morgana having an utterly terrible performance in the finale, and I dont see that happening as she has consistantly scored well the whole series - coming second in six episodes and winning one.
I loved Alan’s entry to the prize task. I thought Oh FINALLY someone’s worked out how to play it. Shame the other tasks brought down the scores for the episode.
Please react to the other series , you have plenty to choose from and the new year shows should be the next champion of champions series 6 to 10
Even if ole goosebumps arm get 5, it won't make any difference.
old chicken pox arm...just sayin
I hated the telephone task so much I skipped it when it came out. I just loathe that sort of cringe comedy so much that it makes me ill.
I think this is one of the weakest seasons so far, I love a few of the contestants but the studio shows aren’t as funny as usual and morgana has her odd funny moment but overall isn’t great, especially when she is so cocky half of the time. I love Alan, guz and Victoria and Desiree is fine, but overall it’s been very disappointing
