Dude, I’ve been sewing for years, and a thing you don’t realize is that those cushions will become thinner over time. They will also become a little bit less comfortable in that way as well. The fact that you started out a little extra thick will only help you in the long run.

However, they started their channel in Mexico so they only captured Mexico to Argentina I believe if I remember correctly. I don't often comment on videos but really love your channel. This may seem silly, but I really want to thank you for showing the reality of living off of only two electric outlets. It really helped me feel less alone in my extension cord filled house. I've been living like this the past year and while it is comical much of the time and gets the job done, it's also inconvenient and a reminded of how abnormal my life is at the moment. I purchased a semi off grid small cabin to turn into my home around the same time that you got your property. I also have an older large dog as well :) and had a lot of shit hit the fan as far as unforeseen issues with the house as well. It has been really nice watching your channel and feeling a bit like I'm not alone in this, especially on all the messy chaotic challenges that come up. And it's inspiring to see you work within a budget and find ways to still get the "bougie" touches over time. It helps me keep up hope that while I am on a super slow timeline due to a tiny budget because I am disabled by my mental health struggles, it doesn't mean that in time the good things won't happen. It'll get there and all the elbow grease helps in the long run. I appreciate your tenacity, your values, and the honor you bring to what you do. You're a really good person Max and that shines through in your videos. You bring such a loving honorable presence to youtube and I really appreciate that about you and your content. Thank you for helping me feel less alone in all the struggles that come up and the oddities we live with to get by until we can get them right in due time.

They should've warned you about napped fabric....but trust me, you'll never do that again...and even better, you didn't sew those cushions with the nap going in opposite directions because things would not have been as easily corrected. Saying all that, knowing how to sew is something everyone should learn. You already understand mitered corners and measurements so you're halfway there learning to sew. Finally, you will discover that as you get older, the higher the seat, the easier to get up and sit down. Your parents will appreciate the height. Trust me, I know about these things. LOL Take care of Occy; he's getting old and needs a set of stairs to get up and down your bed and the couch so his knees don't give out.
I really like how the seating nook turned out. The dark green fabric against the white is amazing. And the rebuilt kitchen storage was brilliant! What a great idea to reuse an existing piece for storage. As always give that lovely Occy a few extra cuddles and keep one for yourself. Happy Easter! 💜🐰🐣
I hope you take comfort that you DID make your home more homey in time for the monsoon season so that you and Occy didn't have be stircrazy with ONLY the van's space to putter around in. It's great seeing how you've given Occy the wonderful reward for his golden years of a permanent home- after he'd spent his entire life faithfully and patiently being the best 'van dog' possible! Also, I've never forgotten how great it was seeing that him reunite with you after nearly a year of being on separate continents due to the worldwide affliction- with him JUST as eager to reunite with you and not having the slightest amnesia or resentment for the unavoidable separation! Heh. Last summer we installed a large pair of gates on a farmstead. On one side of the gate was a hinged panel for foot access, but it terminates at a large treen, followed by very dense mix of willow, spruce and poplar, and on the other side a matching fixed panel that spans the drainage ditch and fills the gap to similar trees. Not fort knox at all, but bloody inconvenient to push through, that’s for sure.

My big dog, just slightly larger than Occy, is turning 15 in about 6 weeks! He's half blind, half deaf, and can't stand up by himself. He has always been way less active than Occy is, but he's doing well. I see many years for Occy.

You might want to get a GPS tracker for him. If he gets confused and wonders off, you might be able to find him through the tracker.

I suggested that a while back, would help ease the pain when Occy does eventually depart.😢
A younger dog would want to play when Occy wants to relax. I think he would be upset that his best friend didnt find his company enough.
Max has said in the past that he wants to travel overseas again. He decided to settle in one place for Occy's last years.

Bloody love the projector! What a game changer. However, l'd be spending my time watching where spider went. Actually, l'd be showing him the door. Whenever l work 9n a project l always wonder what l'm going to stuff up so re the cushion fabric, welcone to my world. The house is looking beyond awesome and well worth the work!

Hey Max, how come you don’t have screens on the doors and windows to keep out the creepy bugs and other little creatures? They’re easy to make and where you live there’s so many hairy creeping ‘things’ I’d want to keep them out. Love your channel friend.

They should've warned you about napped fabric....but trust me, you'll never do that again...and even better, you didn't sew those cushions with the nap going in opposite directions because things would not have been as easily corrected. Saying all that, knowing how to sew is something everyone should learn. You already understand mitered corners and measurements so you're halfway there learning to sew. Finally, you will discover that as you get older, the higher the seat, the easier to get up and sit down. Your parents will appreciate the height. Trust me, I know about these things. LOL Take care of Occy; he's getting old and needs a set of stairs to get up and down your bed and the couch so his knees don't give out.
I really like how the seating nook turned out. The dark green fabric against the white is amazing. And the rebuilt kitchen storage was brilliant! What a great idea to reuse an existing piece for storage. As always give that lovely Occy a few extra cuddles and keep one for yourself. Happy Easter! 💜🐰🐣

It's great seeing how you've given Occy the wonderful reward for his golden years of a permanent home- after he'd spent his entire life faithfully and patiently being the best 'van dog' possible! Also, I've never forgotten how great it was seeing that him reunite with you after nearly a year of being on separate continents due to the worldwide affliction- with him JUST as eager to reunite with you and not having the slightest amnesia or resentment for the unavoidable separation!

Heh. Last summer we installed a large pair of gates on a farmstead. On one side of the gate was a hinged panel for foot access, but it terminates at a large treen, followed by very dense mix of willow, spruce and poplar, and on the other side a matching fixed panel that spans the drainage ditch and fills the gap to similar trees. Not fort knox at all, but bloody inconvenient to push through, that’s for sure.
So happy to see Occy is doing so well at this age. It made me cry because i had to let go of my ow best furry friend Gijs 48 hours ago. He was only 9.

My big dog, just slightly larger than Occy, is turning 15 in about 6 weeks! He's half blind, half deaf, and can't stand up by himself. He has always been way less active than Occy is, but he's doing well. I see many years for Occy.
