I don't often comment on videos but really love your channel. This may seem silly, but I really want to thank you for showing the reality of living off of only two electric outlets. It really helped me feel less alone in my extension cord filled house. I've been living like this the past year and while it is comical much of the time and gets the job done, it's also inconvenient and a reminded of how abnormal my life is at the moment. I purchased a semi off grid small cabin to turn into my home around the same time that you got your property. I also have an older large dog as well :) and had a lot of shit hit the fan as far as unforeseen issues with the house as well. It has been really nice watching your channel and feeling a bit like I'm not alone in this, especially on all the messy chaotic challenges that come up. And it's inspiring to see you work within a budget and find ways to still get the "bougie" touches over time. It helps me keep up hope that while I am on a super slow timeline due to a tiny budget because I am disabled by my mental health struggles, it doesn't mean that in time the good things won't happen. It'll get there and all the elbow grease helps in the long run. I appreciate your tenacity, your values, and the honor you bring to what you do. You're a really good person Max and that shines through in your videos. You bring such a loving honorable presence to youtube and I really appreciate that about you and your content. Thank you for helping me feel less alone in all the struggles that come up and the oddities we live with to get by until we can get them right in due time.

My big dog, just slightly larger than Occy, is turning 15 in about 6 weeks! He's half blind, half deaf, and can't stand up by himself. He has always been way less active than Occy is, but he's doing well. I see many years for Occy.

I actually laughed out loud at the quick little musical… da dum.. when you *almost* hit the light vs. head count for the second time. I often watch videos from other channels on 1.5 or even 2x speed. But it’s the moments of subtle humor you slip in that always keep me watching all your videos on normal speed so I don’t miss them.

Doesnt work on huntsman or wolf spiders. Even the pest sprays dont work on them.

Hey Max, how come you don’t have screens on the doors and windows to keep out the creepy bugs and other little creatures? They’re easy to make and where you live there’s so many hairy creeping ‘things’ I’d want to keep them out. Love your channel friend.

Started watching for van life content but now your channel is my go to for relaxing and calming down whether you and Occy are in the van or not.

It's great seeing how you've given Occy the wonderful reward for his golden years of a permanent home- after he'd spent his entire life faithfully and patiently being the best 'van dog' possible! Also, I've never forgotten how great it was seeing that him reunite with you after nearly a year of being on separate continents due to the worldwide affliction- with him JUST as eager to reunite with you and not having the slightest amnesia or resentment for the unavoidable separation!

Green is an excellent color choice. You can always add different colors with artwork, pillows etc… You did an amazing job.

Bloody love the projector! What a game changer. However, l'd be spending my time watching where spider went. Actually, l'd be showing him the door. Whenever l work 9n a project l always wonder what l'm going to stuff up so re the cushion fabric, welcone to my world. The house is looking beyond awesome and well worth the work!

I really like how the seating nook turned out. The dark green fabric against the white is amazing. And the rebuilt kitchen storage was brilliant! What a great idea to reuse an existing piece for storage. As always give that lovely Occy a few extra cuddles and keep one for yourself. Happy Easter! 💜🐰🐣
