Spot On ! I did buy a JJN Gold Glory and was worried about the finish but it came perfect,Heavy, with a Fat 50s neck,I was pleased,I feel like I got lucky.I have a couple of Les Pauls,But My favorite is an Epiphone 2002 Korean made black custom, has the Gibson trussrod cover. I love that Guitar. It`s not the only one I have,Great video. Love the old Korean made stuff.
I LOVED your “Greeny” Video! I myself had a GREAT experience with my 2020 50’s Epi Les Paul. QC was Fabulous! BUT I had suspicions about the “Greeny”. At $1600 after tax- theres NO EXCUSE for them cheapin out. I have had to Return 3 different Fenders for fret leveling and electronics issues. TOTALLY unnaceptable. I’ve found great QC with Schecter and PRS. That 90’s looks cool btw. Cheers
The Koreans really upped their game as the 90s progressed, what they build nowadays is world class, there's a reason they tend to be pricier than what's coming out of indonesia and china...and that greeny is absurdly overpriced
I don't know why people were giving you shit in your last video - it's obviously your opinion (with evidence). I was really grateful for your video. I had saved some money up and was debating whether to get the Epiphone Greeny or the Epiphone Noel Gallagher Riviera (which is 9 ton here in the UK, compared to the Epiphone Greeny's crazy price of £1,500) but I decided on the Player Plus MIM Fender Telecaster and a 50W Boss Katana which, combined, were still cheaper than the Greeny - even with a Marshall Bluesbreaker reissue pedal thrown in for good measure. I had already decided on my purchase before watching your first video, but it sure as hell made me even happier with my choice but, to be honest, a little disappointed, because I could've saved up for the Greeny if it was worth it but by the look of it in your video, you'd probably be better buying a Chibson Greeny and putting Greenybuckers in them, and replacing the pots and hardware... not that I'm telling people to buy a Chibson, I'm just saying the quality of the builds are actually really impressive (although the sound of those guitars definitely needs work done). Much appreciated mate, thanks. You've earned a new sub. Rock on, brother.
I have a Epi 1960 Tribute Plus that has become my go-to guitar, out of the nine guitars that I own. Only cost $700. I give it to Gibson, they know exactly how to milk guitarists. And now they are pushing up the prices of Epi's (i.e. Explorer, put a "collab with Gibson" sticker on it and magically the price doubles). PT Barnum has a great quote about fools and their money that comes to mind. 😄
I have a Custom Pro Black Back Ltd Edition I bought new in 2014. It's frigging awesome and will be with me for ever

I just got a 2000 Epiphone Les Paul made in Korea at the Saein factory. It's a beautifully made guitar.
In the 80s I had Korean made Zapp Les paul copy. Remember it being pretty good.
