I was lucky enough that I got the full luthier shop and showroom tour by Ed Roman himself when they were in Connecticut. I got a chance to play one of the actual Jay Frogs and there is something very special about having that guitar in your hands. I’ve heard mixed things about Ed but he was very cool to me. Chris Woods makes an amazing version too, but if I’m spending 5k+, I’m going for a Suhr koa or maybe a Scala.

I have exactly the same but it’s not Padauk. Mine is 1992 same truss road trying rebuilt it. But if anyone can tell me what’s the size of height adjustment screw for the pick ups. My N4 has a lot of battle scar but I would not change it for a bit. Lots of memories. Yes I am not selling it no matter the price offered.

Bought a few guitars lately. Fender Mexico had sharp fret ends, Tremolo arm of Ibanez Prestige keeps falling off, FGN had a backbow in the neck...those aren't entry level...I wonder if there is ANY quality control at ANY of the guitar makers out there today. Seems not.

hi i must say i owned both esp grey truckster and ltd grey there where hardly no differences besides the weight the esp was 4.2 kilo and the ltd 3.4 kg so thats why i ditched and sold the esp bodyshape hardware the same even the bridge from gotoh tone pro bla bla ... this guitar is a killer and korea did a better job imo this is just awesome i love the reliced style and it rips

Even with upgrades, $1700.00 is too much. Look at the Kramer Baretta Vintage . $700.00. Has nice stuff.

I paid $700.00 for an ESP Kamikaze. Wasn't first gen. I had both. The LTD played so well that I wouldn't swap it with the hundred dollar bills req'd.

Blown away yet again..amazing. Do all the production N2's have the same body size as the N4? I have a 1991/1992 N2 but I've never had the chance to match it up with an N4. I left school in 1991 and I used to always dream of a Washburn Nuno model and my parents bought me an N2 a few years after. Still my favorite guitar

Why do you think they stopped doing the wheel? I remember them calling it out in an old guitar mag add, but you almost never see them on N4s.
