I love this channel. Do what ever you want. I would watch anything you guy's do. Some reason its relaxing and you guy's seem straight up so carry n doing what you do. From cold country Canada.
Hello There, I have been watching your channel for some time now and really am impressed with how much you have accomplished with what you had to work with. Please include your woodworking shop as I’m a 50+ year woodworker and enjoy shop time every day. I retired a few years ago and love the time in my shop. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing your wood shop. Best Regards Fred Thomas in Skokie IL.
Would love to your workshop projects. Have been a carpenter for over 50 years and still learning new ideas, trick's and different ways of doing things from watching others working on their own projects,
I love this channel, YES I also would love to see more of the full operations. The mill IS awesome, I know that is a lot that goes into producing lumber from the source to finished and out the door or to the woodworking shop.
Hello Mark. I am from Toronto CANADA. There are 2 world systems of temperature measurement, Celsius and Fahrenheit. It would be most helpful for non-Americans to have you state your local temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees! Andrew PS: I love your channel!!!
Appreciate your mechanical sympathy Mark. So many people just push the button, unaware of the consequences of starting cold machinery. Great channel, best wishes from Cumbria, England. Looking forward to the workshop vids.
Love watching your videos. For those cold mornings, get yourself a metal garbage can lid and a bag of charcoal. Light up the charcoal and when the flames go out, push the lid under the bus motor to warm it up. An old trucker told me that years ago.
I like the ugly log of the month idea! And it would be nice to see you in the cabinet shop. However, I do like seeing you and THE Eddie Horvath sawing logs. I look forward weekly to seeing new content! Thank you for your channel.
Mark and Eddie you guys do what makes the best deal for you, we would be interested i think on just about anything you guys come up with, Saw like you really mean it lol, love the videos and there are very few of you guys left doing this size operation now a days.
I like seeing cabinet making. Specially liked the exploding things! Go for it guys! Make things bang! Love this channel. And I love seeing pretty outcomes! Not sure where I got the "exploding things" from but I do like them. Cheers guys, and cut some nice lumber! .... maybe I'm on the wrong channel.... nope, wanna see wood cut into bits....
I’ll watch you build cabinets. I like wood so whether it’s growin or harvestin or millin, or usin, I’m on board. Regular sized man-glitter is good too. Tell TEH I said hi. 😎👍👏
Morning Mark & THE , when you start the ol bus motor & its frigging cold , hold a couple of sheets of newspaper on the rad , helps warm her up a bit quicker , stops the cold wind from the fan as well , great watchin the videos , regards Pete
Hi Mark - it would be great to mix it up with some cabinetry videos. Precision woodworking is awesome when one takes slabs of wood and makes functional beautiful objects. Especially with the mill - you can take a tree and turn it into furniture or cabinets from scratch! That's very appealing to many of us, I'd wager.
Hello Mark & Eddie , your going to have one hell of a truck bed very strong looking forward to seeing it . Yes it would be interesting to see some finished wood . Well stay warm take care see ya on the next
These two Ugly Old Oaks produce some of the nicest wood I've had seen in a while, I've worked in the woods for about 35 years, until I had my Stroke. B
I love to hear a cold diesel crank and warm up. Down here in Miss-sippi we use propane tractors to pull our diesels off in winter time. We don't really know what cold is. I love to watch you saw. Come runnin, go runnin, just a matter of perspective. That ole log looks like it wants to escape! Bus Motor Specialty Sawing.
14.9 so far and YES, lets go into a warm shop for a change! You could hear the governor kick a little when the knots came through the saw. Good firewood but the blocks and 4-by heavies will be a help. Good sawing, Pal and T.H.E. is stronger than he knows. And that was the right place for the fire barrel. And it seems a 2-cycle will start better when you let them sit for a bit between tries. Maybe it lets the air in the cylinder heat up a bit.So stay warm and will waiting! GBWYall!
@@markgalicic7788 Me TOO! It's got to be in GOOD shape. It's snowed about an inch but it'll be gone soon. Cheryl built a fire so it's warm inside. Thanks, Buddy and yall remain calm. And T.H.E. too!
I bet when someone get a 2"x 4" from You , It is really a 2" x 4" and not a 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 like you get from the lumber yard . Love all of Your videos and love it because the content is clean with no cussing or immoral comments . Keep up the good work .
Love to see some woodshop activities. Really like the mill and how it's come together a little at a time, keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing another side of what you do
Great ideas Mark, like all your output. Can I suggest some of that car window darkening film on your windows to the yard behind. It should cut the reflextion off your cabin glass to the saw.
Woodshop , Wait ------ What ??? Not Just A Yes , But A Hell Yes !!! I Think We Saw Your Shop In The Dunk Chair Video I'm Not Complaining But I Can No Longer See The Saw Dust Exiting The Dust Thrower ... Can The Eddie See That From His Station ? You Guys Are Great 99 Thumbs Up
Enjoyed the video Mark & Eddie and the new introduction. I would enjoy seeing some videos of your wood shop and see what your working on. Eddie must be going to burn those slabs. Nothing like some good oak slabs for firewood. He's not throwing them on the slab pile. Yes I'd like to see how all your controls work in the cab. Wow, a laser would be nice. You will have to video Eddies truck bed he's building. Meadows Mill Manufacturing facility is just 30 minutes from me in North Wilkesboro North Carolina. Thanks for taking the time to produce the videos. Y'all take care and God bless.
ide love to see your woodworking videos as I am a disabled woodworker of 20years plus doing it I am addicted to wood working I love crafting furniture and wooden items with my hands I would love to show you some of my work take care
that wood that you called ugly would be PERFECT fit for the furniture i build as hobby. Sadly you life pretty much on the other side of the world. Love to watch your video thou. With the casual talking and stuff is really nice towatch and listen to
Hi Mark, thanks for another great video. (Do wish you could you could do something about the glare in the camera though!). Regarding a video from the wood shop, that sounds great, would hope it would be an additional video to the already sawing video. P.S. I f you want to start making videos everyday, we will all be very happy!
Hi Mark from Cornwall UK . I'd love to see what you turn a lot of that into , have done cabinet making in my past along with other construction trades and still do on a part time basis . Much of my skills I learnt the hard way with mistakes and practice and made most things from kitchens through to furniture and from roofs to gates so would look forward to see what you do in your part of the world . Great mill by the way and enjoy your videos .
Brilliant i learn something each time, what teamwork.ED like me looked at the belts looks like they need adjusting as they have bedded in.Iy would be lovely to see you using the lumber to make things especially as the weather deteriorates after all we don't a poor frozen Ed outside.
Just a FYI guys. For starting that 6-71 Detroit on those extra cold mornings, go down to your Detroit Diesel dealership and buy a package of starting fluid pills. The guy at the counter will know what you're wanting. Lol. They look kinda sorta like a big vitamin E gel tab. But you take 1 pill before starting the motor and put it in that funky oil cup on the intake just before the blower. If you look inside that cup, you'll see a sharpened tube in the bottom of the cup. It pierces the gel tab when you press down on the lid to close up the cup. Then start the motor. That cup drips the starting fluid into the intake that will get the motor started & keep it running. Works pretty good.
good to see cabinet work. As for the glare, I think you can take the windows off and shim them at a vertical angle that will eliminate the glare and reflections.
Could use your help, have a big Desk to Build with a 4ft by 8ft. top, live edge with a River and a road on it, can do that part well it is the Base I am going to need help on. Also 7 or 20 deg. this Florida boy would stay in the house, thanks for another good Vid., and stay warm.
Mark we had a mill one time that was so good that a man come by and bought by some logs by and we cut 1000' ft 1/8" verner I always like to see a good mill cut.
I like to see more, Just watching logs get cut can get boring. I love to learn more about both of your talents. I understand you don want everything but if you make quality work maybe we buy the cabinets
I am curious, at 7 degrees, all your wood is frozen through. Do you have to do anything different cutting frozen logs from say logs on a 90 degree summer day?
I am new and going back to see all the fun things that you have done. Enjoy your videos.
Welcome aboard!
