i am a amblulance driver in the netherlands it such nice work you have something new everyday
thank you for saving lifes.!
pfff that scream during the cpr part gave me chills to the bone and tears in my eyes.
trust me, i've been on the other side of the screen, but without the happy ending. pray to god you're not on that side. whatever chills you're feeling right now are amplified by a lot. plus the sheer feeling of helplessness and or lack of control.
also, make sure NOT to put important things off for too long. once the reaper decides "nah i dont like you today", whatever you put off to help your family will never be done. unfortunate it took the death of my father to figure that one out though...
Its really respectfull to see how you react on this video. I am a volunteer by the red cross in the Netherlands.
There is a radio station here in the Netherlands that organizes a resuscitation day once a year. That's a day when everyone can learn the basic skills of CPR! This is because the radio DJ of that station is also a police officer and he came up with the story that he had not been able to change clothes that day because he came to the studio after resuscitation. Then they talked about it in the studio and then they came up with the idea of organizing an annual resuscitation day! It is so important that you can perform CPR immediately and certainly until the emergency services arrive to take over.
In tears. I can't bare these overwhelming emotions and i'm so so so happy he came back.
Heroes.
broo..!!!!
i live right around the corner of this hospital...
ive been in an ambulance once when i had broken my foot.
olso i need to draw blood every 3 months or so, so i know this hospital pretty well. hahaha
greetings from The Netherlands.
in the Netherlands we have set up a nice system. that is called Heartbeatnow (HartslagNu) which means that you can follow a course and then sign up as a volunteer. if someone in your area has a cardiac arrest, you will be called up via a special app and/or SMS to go to a specific address and then apply CPR. you may also need to pick up a defibrillator from a nearby location. and then go to where that person is. In this way, approximately 5 to 10 volunteers are called on to provide assistance if necessary. this increases the chance of survival. usually the volunteers are there before the ambulance etc. then when the ambulance arrives the volunteers will deal with family friends etc. this course has to be repeated every 2 years.
in the netherlands its not done to film a victim of violence/medical issues for entertainment/private use. you can even get a fine for it. this is because the family/friends might see their loved ones in pain/death on the internet before they get the news from authorities.
well it's a no-go indeed but usually the emergency services here get permission, it also depends on the call, and how bad it is
I had to do CPR twice in my life, its a big impact for all involved. It feels good to help, bit its mentally hard. Still got my jacket with the blood of one man i helped. Glad he made it.
Beautiful to see good people in this world.
My sister and I were upstairs untill the paramedic came to us telling my father didn't pull thru. It didn't work for us but learning CPR can always help, you never know.
I have seen my mother perform CPR on my dad and that was the reason I have learned to hopefully help someone else
USA EMT is dfferent than Dutch. EMT are not registered specialized nurses. In the USA is a "scoop and go" policy. EMT's do not diagnoze and bring the patient as fast as possible to the hospital.
In Holland we are registered nurses, we specialized in ICU and CCU care and fter that education we do the Ambulance education. So we have at least 8 years of specialized nursing education.
We, as ambulance nurse, do diagnose and treat at the location without doctors around. Only when a patient is stabilzed we drive to the hospital. Sometimes we need 2 ambulances, per example for a CPR. 2 nurses will be busy wih the patient, the empty ambulance drives behind them.
This is why we have so much with us, also with 100's of medication. In the USA this is not the case. Only standard stuff (drugoverdose, CPR etc)
Best job in the world :)
My wife works with RAVU (the Ambu service for the province of Utrecht) in the Netherlands as an Ambulance team coordinator ❤ My god these guys and girls are the best of the best and true heroes in our society! So sad to see how much aggression they face today in their work 😢 I have a mandatory every 2 year CPR course via the company I work at... it's scary as f... but knowing that you could make a difference makes me very proud as one of many Dutchies ✌️
HXC Would you like to see the riot police one they did? it's so epic! they went along with them for a couple of soccer matches. good 40 minutes of epic enjoyment. if you like I can translate it, in a couple weeks I have some days off :)
Sure, that would be fun. When you have subtitled it (preferably on the video) you can add it to our list bit.ly/RequestHXC and mention it in the list that we have discussed it! Cheers and good luck with the subtitling!
I love to see your real emotions, thank you let see our heroes in the Netherlands .
In Rotterdam, if resuscitation is required, a second ambulance, the fire brigade and the police are sent as standard
it's illegal here (the Netherlands) to film people that are in medical emergencies. cause news travels fast and the family might find out about it through social media or something. also privacy has something to do with it. if they would have filmed it they would possibly get in a lot of trouble. i'm a former firetruck driver and it's very difficult to do our jobs effective when people keep bothering wanting to film everything. i've had several people arrested because they made my work impossible and that would result in possible danger for my co workers. hope loads of people learn from these kind of clips and stop bothering emergency personel who are doing their jobs.
Klopt maar bij dit soort videos als dumpers enzo dan geven de slachtoffers, nabestaanden als die er zijn altijd toestemming voordat het uitgezonden word. Omstanders die filmen zijn inderdaad wel illegaal als ze dat online zetten.
Its not illegal but for sure disrespectfull
Uhm, it's NOT illegal. Out on the public roads/streets one is allowed to film whatever you like, even people and even people in a medical emergency as long as you maintain a respectfull distance to the victim or emergency personnel. It's sharing of those images with whomever that is the problem here (Portrait Rights). But I consider it extremely disrespectfull in general and even more disrespectfull to do that with an average phone. I consider it a slightly different story with a dedicated videocamera. Not only does it stand out more that you could be dealing with a professional (who usually have a better idea of when they are invading someone elses' personal space), most models also can't share the images with the whole world on just the touch of a button as they usually don't feature an internet connection.
here in the netherlands there are many citizens who are resuscitation aid workers. these civilians can be called up via an app to start CPR until the ambulance arrives... many people have a CPR certificate. this way we can help each other.
CPR is a very simple procedure, especially with the portable equipment that is available (at least in the Netherlands). The only thing that can be difficult is keeping a deep and steady rhythm, it is truly exhausting. I agree with you it should be standard procedure to teach.
Gracias x este pequeño homenaje al día a día de todos los sanitarios, entre los cuales me incluyo. Muchas gracias.🥰
I love you man i follow you for some time now and you have a good heart keep it up greetings from the Netherlands
so as someone that has their first aid. or in dutch EHBO. we also have a system that when there is a cpr call to the emergency services there will be around 20 people that are registered first aid holders called up to assist. so most likely we will get there before the ambulance. ive had to offer cpr 3 times since ive gotten my first aid last year and ive never regretted getting it. trying to become a ambulance driver at the moment
How serieus we taking it when its cpr is incredible.
yo man, if you like this kind of thing... maybe a tip to watch is the Ambulance UK series... sometimes its pretty intense and gives a good look behind the scenes as well... you dont have to do a reaction or anything, but it just might be interesting to watch for yourself :)
Brings back a lot of bad memory's 🥺 a bad fall down the stairs . And my son had convulsions and couldn't breathe. I had to clear his mouth and in the mean time I called 112. I could stabilize him and I told them he sufferd brain damage. It took them 8 minutes to arrive with a ambulance a trauma helicopter and two police cars . I am very proud of our emergency service . Within 15 min we arrived at the hospital by ambulance and the trauma specialist from the helicopter . So I am a proud mom .🙏❤️❤️ No bills . Universel healthcare .❤️❤️
Very interesting!
Woot woot from my hometown Barendrecht
My good old friend is also living in Thailand. He is there for years now with his Thai wife and children. He whas on a scooter and BANG. Ambulance came and he whas in coma. It took the Ambulance a while before he whas in the hospital. Now.... he is for the rest of his life unemployed.
Important part of training . . !!!
Kinda ironic that I'm having chest pain the day I finished these subtitles. Have had them before, it will pass again
Oh No Inge...don't like hearing that. Take care of yourself. But thanks for taking the time for the subtitling and Mirjam for the request.
Hope you feel better soon Inge! Thanks again for all you do :)
@@suzettebakelaar thanks and no worries. It will go away. Has been checked multiple times, but of course nothing has been found.
@@HighlyCombustibleReacts glad I could help Highly. I will be oké.
Oei, beterschap. 🙏
Bro you’re even watching Dumpert filmt je werkplek, if they have captions please do a video reaction to Dumpert films je werkplek politie (police ride along) its pretty damn intense
Cluckhead my boy
I once remember when my neighbor had issues and passed out when no one was home, i was gonna visit him that day soI knew he was home but he didn’t respond to the doorbell so I called 112 (Dutch 911) and apparently he had a heart attack, luckily he survived (this was 4 years ago) sadly he passed away 1 year ago.
If your wondering Dumpert made a video simular to this one at the police and firefighters
Maybe nice to know that a lot of schools here starting tound age 10 teach kids how to help with emergency cpr
Mirjam sorry for the delay 😏
not a heartattack, but after multiple epileptic insults, after an lunginfection, after heart rythem disfuncion, an accident.... wanna know more??? i think i had 13 times that the ambulance had to come. i'm also allergic fot latex, it makes me choke. my lungs fill up with fluid and i can drown
Hi HXC, how are you doing? It seems like you have an issue with your under jaw. Do you use medicaments? It looks likes you are tranquilised.
I do have an issue with my lower jaw :) It does a lot of popping in and out of alignment. It does cause me pain, but no medication. You also may be seeing mint leaves that I have in my mouth instead of chewing tobacco (which I used to do quite often). The only tranquilizer I use is weed. But I live in California so it's not an issue :)
@@HighlyCombustibleReacts i hope it is gonna be better soon.
Thanks for the vids.
Don't forget,... it's free.
or at most your own risk (400 ish euro a year)
Its not allowed to film and post it on the internet only with permission
so much poverty in America because of medical costs. in my eyes America is a third world country, sorry
Blablabla, en Nederland is fantastisch toch? We zorgen goed voor onze burgers en vooral ouderen toch?🙈
