I'm a 65 years old living in Brabant and I've never done drugs, never saw drugs nor criminals. But I do sometimes in the winter see those rooftops of houses where there should've been snow and where there isn't any because they're growing drugs on the attic. The police uses drones and helicopters to find those houses. No snow marks the spot 😂

Alcohol is ook drugs. Maar hier kun je beter wiet zeggen want daar gaat het over niet alle georganiseerde misdaad en milieuschade die geassocieerd wordt met en veroorzaakt door alle andere drugs. Beetje vertekend beeld anders want al die andere kklijers ruik je alleen maar maar ontdooien het dak niet.

tell the police everything you know about who is involved in criminal behaviour. then and only then you can be proud to be Brabantse. believe me, al the other provinces look down on you, but you lack of self-reflection will probably be interpreted as "they are jealous", or "what do they know".

Most people in The Netherlands don’t have a gun, so shooting up signs for fun is rare here… so if you see such a sign, it’s usually a message.
Btw, I live in Brabant and it’s sadly not all fun and games, about a year ago, the police uncovered a torture shed (literally a shipping container that was made sound proof and that had some disturbing shit in it) in a town that’s about a 10 minute drive from my home. It doesn’t make me feel very safe to live here.

It's because provinces other then North and South-Holland are being neglected. Research has shown that the other provinces are structurally disadvantaged. Yet Noord-Brabant is the province which brings in the most money for the state treasury. Also by far most of the enovation comes from Noord-Brabant. It's an absolute disgrace that those arrogant politicians dont care about us. The drug problem is one of the problems because all the government wants is to close down police stations and cut down on police officers in our province. I think it would be fair if they lower the tax rates for us for many years to come. I know my comment is a bit on a serious note, but it's the underlying problem Arjan Lubach totally skips. Ah well what can I say he's a Frisian, a totally normal Fireljepping, Skutjesieling Frisian that want their own language lol
No, its not. It is. But not with this problem. Brabant is between Antwerp and Rotterdam and that is seriously the problem.
At school, children are already being approached to become a drugscourier in Eindhoven. No government can do a thing about that.

@@Thunterise MKB (middle and small businesses) bring in most money. Brabant has most of them. Also South-Holland and mainly Rotterdam is mainly what they call a transit region or storage and logistical region. Theres not much "maak industrie" or "build industry/fabrication industry" as there is in Noord-Brabant. Most of the things that are being made are flowers in Het Westland

Be a bit more worried! The agro-industry has taken over almost all farms, most of the farmhouses have been sold to rich from the cities as villa with paddock and room for a swimming pool. But those who do not have an attractive house, but sold their land, are struggling. An empty barn (like for 20.000 pigs) becomes a valuable asset.
Arjen Lubach does have another show right now. Its called avondshow met lubach. I thaught you have reacted on that show aswell. But i think he must invite you for the next season.

Its brave that the 5 come forward. Peter r de vries, crimereporter, protected a key witness, was just on tv, rtl boulevard in Amsterdam, walked to his car and got shot in the head. Whole the country was in shock , he died that week. But he knew there was a bullet for him one day.. his kids keep his work going on. Its good to see this , humor is good, we will not live in fear. 😊
you might enjoy Arjen Lubach's video about De Canon van Nederland. It has a song in it without subs so you'd have to find the separate video they uploaded of the song with subtitles. That one has brought me a smile quite a few times.

He doesn’t say Brabant is bad. He is just addressing the real drug criminality in Brabant. It’s a problem, especially of the chemical waste issue. Yes Brabant is beautiful but don’t silence this problem because you’re a Brabander.

We have some troubles in (Tilburg) yes, but it's has it's ups and downs.. the most criminals are walking around in police uniforms.. 😂

I agree, it's still safer than American cities, but there are also a big discrepancy when regarding number of inhabitants. This might make the situation more or less severe though, would like to know though

tell the police everything you know about criminals in your environment so they can be arrested. you're a west-brabander so you know criminals! but as you are a west-brabander you probably don't care and will to tell the police. so you and your friends can keep buying drugs and give the criminals an income.
The only drug problem is that it's made illegal. Alcohol is the worst drug out there.
