Christian Horner, Team Principal Of Oracle Red Bull Racing: How To Manage A Winning F1 Team - Авто та транспорт
What a fabulous interview! You can see and feel why Horner is such a high performance leader, his view and capacity to respond is extremely snappy, a truly F1 Team player!
For a while there, I believe up until this year Christian was the longest serving but also the youngest team principal, quite the achievement.
One of the better interviews I've tuned in to so far. Interviewer asking all the right questions while pushing the boundary ever so slightly and Horner exhibiting his knack of replying respectfully. Truly enjoyed viewing this!
Sara: Can this ever be an electric vehicle? 🤔
Christian: No. ❤️
Sara: Never? 😮
Christian: It shouldn’t be. ❤️
I hope F1 brings back V10 or V8
❤
Hopefully once they are fully carbon neutral they do bring back the V10. That was peak F1
🙏
19:10 by 95% he definitely means lance stroll is the only one there not solely bcuz of his talent 😂
He didn’t even have to think about the math that’s how you know he had it chambered ready to go
Historically, Stroll is much better than most paying drivers....Latifi and Mazepin two recent examples.....This year, Logan Sargent is clearly less good, and I would compare Stroll favorably to a few others as well (Tsunoda, Hulk, Zhou)...unfortunately driver competency is very hard to compare across different teams/cars, so this whole discussion can only be subjective.
Lando is a paid driver too. But he has the talent to back it.
@@yodaisgod2Lando is there purely on talent he will probably be the most wanted driver in f1 when his contract is up
@@MrOasis316 he’s talented enough driver that it vastly overshadows what his dad has paid McLaren for him to be there. Unlike Stroll and Latifi.
This was a surprisingly good interview, no silly questions and really on point, better than I expected, cheers.
What are you talking about, this lady was only interested in money.WTF
@@enismarukik521 😂😂 I have no idea what interview you’re watching lol
She asked the questions needed to understand the entire role of Principal, CEO, and Marketer.
CNBC’s F1 content has been amazing.
Theyre absolutely better than sky
Amazing questions, good job! They really made Christian give us a deeper insight into the business and day to day side of F1.
Good interview, if not a lil late...Silverstone was in July. Fascinating to see the team that seems to have the most fun, being so dominant this season. Even with the field being so close! Kudos to Red Bull for getting it right!
His vocabulary is top-notch. Also, bring honey badger. We want to see more shoey.
"success is all about winning"
Brilliant Christian. Knows his business on a scale of responding as if he knew exactly what was coming to him.
“95% of the grid are there on talent” he definitely means stroll with that other 5% 😂
Failed driver to the youngest principal that led fizzy drinks company to multiple f1 titles. now he even made the fizzy drinks company a pu manufacturer with ford.People forget merc’s 8year title run was due to them lobbying and oushing for regs change since they joined and developing their turbo hybrid pu’s two years before anyone else, they always had more power year by year, they could thus increase downforce and aid grip not worrying too much about deg.redbull had to deal with lackluster pu’s but still had the best chasis on the grid all those years, thats how they scraped all their 10 or so wins during 14-20,redbull had the best technical teams and cost cap is now showing how truly talented and ahead they are, very likely even if someone closes and topples them they will still have enough of a car that is a contender for the title and is within 1-5secs total race time difference to the benchmark car.they’re likely to have this advantage going into next regs starting 26.christian deserves much more credit for creating an absolute titanic powerhouse that is so sustainable that it might keep on reaping success on the foundations he laid when he leaves
Keeping adrian newey in his team, that is his key to manage his winning team
The only reason.
This aged well 😅😅😅
great interview on both ends, i’m always amazed at horner’s ability during interviews
Great interview. Christian is a great ambassador for RedBull and F1
When the entire grid laughed off Honda, he saw otherwise. When he saw a young Max, he signed him. Brilliant foresight man.
It is Helmut Marko who's the talent scout and discovered Max, not Christian.
found lol max was gonna be found regardless@@neuronmind
He’s incredible at his job. Red Bull are actually so good they are now taking part in two races each week, the one they will win and the other race involving the rest! And it’s set to continue next year!
One of the better interviews I have seen (with Christian and many others) so my compliments. Today I learned something, rather than hearing the same old stuff and that is down to the interviewer.
Was not expecting this level of quality interview on F1 from an American broadcaster. Shocked by the intelligent questions. Well done!
Wth is wrong with an American broadcaster? Not sensationalist or speculative enough for you British?
Christian Horner : The BEST team principal in F1. The man who has led his team to 7 drivers championships and 6 constructors championships beating the major car manufacturers like Ferrari and Mercedes on their way. Also - he was the man to finally shut up Toxic Toto Wolff and Crybaby Lewis Hamilton 😅
Everyone in F1 is a hypocrite, Horner is the same too. He was crying about Mercedes for 8 years straight.
@@xxtetsukuroxx4879exactly he is the biggest cry baby
Best team Principle and Max is one of a kind !! Congrats RBR for all the success!
wonderful insightful interview. Kudos to the interviewer, brilliant set of questions and follow on questions to answers.
A lot of this is word for word exactly what he has said on Drive to Survive.
Why change what works?
“95% of the grid is there on talent” hmmmm I wonder who that last 5% is 😂😂
Stroll
Zhou
@@aslamnurfikri7640 funny thing is Lance scored double the points of Russell in 2016 ,the year before he entered F1 ,but he never got the hype George did ,partly cause he wasn't British
ME....i run around in the tracks after they close it for the night.
18:57 a swing at the Strolls 😂😂😂😂😂 he can’t help it
That was a fantastic interview. Now to watch the one with Toto.
love for this man @CNBC Great Interview!!
One of the top F1 interviews with Christian. Where you can see that someone has prepared themselves. Great job! Interesting questions 👍
She did a really good job interviewing Christian
A good interviewer listens to the responses and draws out more information, it seems this interviewer has a pre prepared list of questions she is being fed. A lot of questions are left unanswered
It's an interview, not an interrogation
THIS is how you make an interview... great job
Thanks, I really needed to know how to manage a winning f1 team
Excellent interview 😊
Thks capiten menezer allwayss sukses that's work hard and making money a alott 💪💪💪 godluck for the team
Love his leadership style!!
Great interview, f1 is a big business and it’s run that way. I love it
Spectacular questions!!!
Sara Eisen asked all of the right questions with no fluff. Straight to what is important. Fantastic interview
Great interview - good questions and great answers!
Let's bring back Watkins Glen!!
95% of the grid is there because of the talent, this means 19/20 drivers so a nice way to show Lance Stroll the truth😂
Oracle Red Bull has the best in race strategy in he sport, it won them more races than the cars or drivers because other teams ie Ferrari is fundamentally the worst. AMG are good strategist as well.
18:55 95% of the grid is there based purely on talent. That 19 out of 20 drivers.. I wonder who the ONE driver is…
CUE THE LANCE STROLL MONACO MEME
"95% of the grid is purely on talent", 19/20 --> 1/20 = Lance Stroll
Great questions
Christian is a real beast. Red Bull are probably the sharpest race team and with Newey making the car and Christian running the team, they are a force to be reckoned with. Max is ok too ;).
"Success is all about winning."
Success is all about winning
Cnbc making a better interview compared to skyf1
Just have a verstappen.

It's very simple - Horner is the best ever F1 manager because he is the only manager (axept Enzo Ferrari), who was also a racing driver.. That's why he knows best what the driver needs in each moment and that's why he does always the best to supply his drivers the best car
Great interview
Great interview ❤
This is interesting ! 😊
95% of the drivers in F1 purely on talent... the other 5% being Lance Stroll.
Yea, and do you who know Lance Stroll beat Lewis Hamilton in the Las Vegas GP.
Yeah stroll gained ten places in two laps
The guy who just went 19th to 5th? Get a grip you nob
Came here to look fro this comment. Did not have to scroll down that much!
Lance actually deserves to be in F1. He beat Alonso and been on pole. Is he champion material idk, but definitely a good mid field driver. He’s better than Mazespin and Latifi for sure.
cool vid
5:52 Yoovidhya*
Those drivers 100% got there on talent, but it took a fortune plus their talent before they ever saw a paycheck. There is no way to make it cheaper. I have been a part of a karting team for a few years now on the national level, and it takes a small fortune to compete at the top. You can certainly compete at a local club level on a reasonable budget, but that is as far as it will take you.
We had Vegas GP and they're talking about Brit GP😂
How did you become #1?
Getting Adrian Newey on staff.
Top interview girl! You've got it!
Presumably the 5% who are not there on talent is Lance Stroll 😂
Answer, keep Adrian Newey happy. :)
Most based Christian Horner interview
I'm trying to sound young. How am I doing?
Keep practising on your memes.
This video took a really long time to edit together for some reason.
First of all, you need have a Honda engine!!! That's the 1, other things are 0 after the 1!!!
Christian got Ginger spice.. Beck got Posh spice - not sure why that didnt come up - do they hang out??
Two Fire sign women, Leo and Aries + a Scorpio and a Taurus man...sadly, completely incompatible couples, how do they really get along behind closed doors? These relationships seem more like business deals rather than romantic partnerships. The money? 🤷♀️ I would have to lose my heart and find love a silly thing to want or need. 🥺
He yawned at one point 😂😂
This was great! And of course, he is married to a Spice Girl! All for fun!
Sounds like a tutorial for Toto Wolff
“a competitive american driver”. logan sargeant watching this: 👁️👄👁️
You stuck out the Mercedes years admirably. Enjoy this period thoroughly for it will also not last.
Please god don’t get rid of imola for a 4th USA race
Another race in a parking lot
If they want more races I wouldn't be opposed to rotating races in and out of the calender.
But if you look at the size of the US and the amount of races vs the amount of races in Europe I can't get mad at a 4th US GP as long as they do it right.
If they build a great circuit somewhere in the US why would it be bad?
In the end it's all about how they do it, ,not so much if they do it.
Some questions he doesn't really answer ... Great manipulator - therefore a great manager.
ARE YOU SUPERSTITIOUS, NO JUST A LITLE STITIOUS 😂
The Ferrari column.
18:00 women drivers. JUST LOL
DOUBLE SENSATIONAL HERE! SENSATIONAL INTERVIEWER LADY! SENSATIONAL INTERVIEW PARTNER! Informing & entertaining! Best super greetings to Elvis Land from Red Bull Land! HAPPY-HEALTHINESS!
Step 1: hire Adrian Newey
Step 2: leave your pregnant girlfriend for a Spice Girl
Step 3: never hold the favored driver on the team accountable for anything
Step 4: win
BEST INTERVIEW IN F1. KUDOS TO THE LADIE.
horner said 95% on the grid are purely on talent , so 20 drivers ,means 5% = one driver, so whos the guy not purely on talent ?
Stroll 😂
Redbull, you should redo this interview with a better interviewer
"95% are there on pure talent ", that is 19 drivers, so my question who is that one driver that ain't talented but he is in formula one
Stroll
build a very fast car
The lady has a bad attitude! Not really a pleasant person to talk to, Christian made the interview he had the right answers and attitude
Interviewer knew very little about f1 :/
hahahah coincidence? 18:45 he says "95% of the grid is there on talent". 95% of 20 is 19. oh so hard to guess who that 1 could be
Is it that hard to get an interviewer that has a clue about Formula 1? Good initial questions but the follow ups were weak. A lot of missed opportunities to press/expand on topics. 100% reliance on the producer, 0% interviewer savvy.
Cnbc 😃
How the mighty have fallen
I'd love to see what Sara looks like without makeup. She looks stunning at the moment. To gestures in her face or really amazing! If she's that confident without makeup, then she is quite a woman.
She is quite the stunner ❤
Wtf?
she wont sleep with you simp
how much was Masi paid?
With ToTo being the richest of the 20 principles, I‘d say NOT A CENT.
how much coping do you need?
Money is talking now. I will never forget Carloz in Las Vegas and that stupid FIA gave him a extra 10 seconds punisment. This year the FIA sucks!
Summary of all the interview is “Money, Money and Money”.
At least Toto Wolf try to talk about other part of the sports!
Why 2 races in Italy?! Seriously! And then u talk about having more race in US?! So the only conclusion of this double standard is Money.
As Luiz said right after Corona opening : Money is the Lord!
the dangling feet ! cant concentrate
95% of 20 = 19
Guess the one on the grid not on talent 😂
Ignore intent. Contest everything out of your favor and accept every opportunity in your favor, even at the expense of integrity. Toss aside honor and encourage recklessness. Treat your drivers like they're expendable. 😡
😂😂 loosen up, you might sleep better 😂
How to cheat to beat the competition by Cheating
Referring to Red Bull as an energy beverage is completely false delusion, with a zero percent health presence. I would be on my hind legs applauding the sport & operations if it involved 100% authenticity. My favorite soft drink is orange & my favorite 'sport-color' yet it doesn't involve advertising, stardom or misrepresentations. Its all about carrots🌄
