I think being involved with children is a privilege. Everything starts when they're young and guiding them in the right direction is crucial. Nothing better than playing music appropriate for their age and sending the message on how to have pure fun dancing to fun music without peer pressure. The dj has a mic, voice and is influential to children because in their eyes the dj is the coolest person in the room. Very important role for a dj and you nailed it. Great dj and great group of kids. Thank you for doing right by the kids and making them happy as can be. Makes us dads proud. Peace
My speakers already have bolts that are loosened by an Allen Key. I undo the bolt, put my light on top and then put the bolt back in with a washer and tighten it down.
Loving the way you mounted the Wash FX they are so Bright that when we put them below the Speakers they Blind Everyone LOL what size Screw did you use to mount them and can you send a link to amazon or home depo etc thanks also the headphone holder is Dope...
Thanks! The screw is actually on my speaker. My EV EKX’s come with “fly points” and I just use an Allen key to loosen the screw and then put the light on top of the speaker and screw it back in. It’s a very easy process. I will say, not all speakers have these fly points and cannot mount a light to the top.
Since they are 15 inch subs, they can’t hit the lower frequencies and get that deep bump that a lot of DJs like. For my weddings and corporate events, they are perfect and are more portable. They give off more of a “punchy” bass rather than a “boomy” bass. When I purchased my second sub, I did notice a difference in the amount of bass in the room. I recommend getting a second 15 inch if you can.
@@DJ-BRY yeah I have one that does the job. Want to add a second soon. I know I’d like to go 18” but I like to keep my setup on the smaller side as I do events myself. This EKX 15 is perfect size and weight and actually one with my 2 qsc 12.2’s it sounds great. Just curious how 2 sounded bs one thanks for the reply
@@djromantics518 finally hit the 2nd one. Depends on the venue. One venue I played sounded better coupled in front of the booth the other was a smaller venue band sounded better one on each side with the tops on on poles. Nice clean punchy sound.
At events with high school/middle school kids I get it requested about 90% of the time if I don’t play it before then. I agree that I have had it requested at a few weddings and was thrown off by it. It does well though! They always make sure to specify that they want “WOP” and not “WAP” lol 😂

Thank you for the compliment. I really do appreciate it!
Those kids were feeling it.
Nice work.
Thank you!
School dances are very challenging, but you did an amazing job.
Thank you! I appreciate it.
They jump or they talk :D It is what is at schools, but it's rewarding experience for sure !
Could we know the songs that you used ? My kids will be having a birthday party (7th grader) pretty sure they would love those songs too ;) thank you
Good job!! Thanks for sharing.👍

Killed it mate. Killed it 🔥

Can you post the link for your light bar and those battery powered up lights, love your set up so simple but that’s the way to go though
They are from a company in China called Both Lighting. Look them up on Instagram or Facebook. DJ Rick Web on UA-cam is a vendor for them.
I'll like to have your playlist
how do you set up aNd run your wash fx?
I use the ADJ Airstream DMX app to control my lights. I will setup a video on how I program my lights soon.
Great job.. thanks for sharing. Hey.. how do you keep the lights steady on the speaker? What bracket do you use?

Nice video bro! Thanks for sharing
I have an upcoming gig next week for Christmas party, so I got idea from you hehe
Good job bro.. what uplights are you using?
They are the S4 up lights from Both Lighting in China. Cheaper than the big name brands plus they have wireless DMX compatibility. Loving them so far.
@@DJ-BRY nice .. can you post a link where to buy? Did you get it from ali baba?
You can buy them through DJ Rick Web or by emailing the company at this email address.... sales010@bothlighting.com
@@DJ-BRY ok thanks
Does that second sub really make it bump? I have 1 right now. Gonna grab a second soon. I figured the 2 side by side would be a big difference

if you pair them properly you'll get an addition 3db on top of what they both put out naturally. its great to pair

@@michaelr6016 youll always find venues that make it harder to place your subs in front due to space restriction, but you'll always get 3db louder ;)
In fact I realise that this is not that different in 🇫🇷 with young people ! Good job !!
Is “Wop” a trend right now? I had my last 2 weddings request it lol

@@DJ-BRY Lmao yeah. The last one I had, she walked up and made sure she specified it was j dash
That song is a dud in California. At all events. Now WAP is a banger here tho
