Striped Bass (Rockfish) Fishing the Chesapeake Bay - Live Lining Spot

It's my favorite season! Fall around here means Rockfish! This day Max, Daddy, Ryan, and I headed out of my brothers boat. The goal was to catch spot to live line. This is some of our favorite ways to catch these beautiful fall Striped Bass. I casted lures most of the day. We all had a blast catching fish all day. We landed tons of catfish. Some MONSTER Blue Cats and some nice Rockfish.

Awesome video Kurt! You know I love to see you and Max fishing with your Dad! That was a really nice catfish! Those stripers are always fun! Here in Colorado, we have hybrid fish, stripper crossed with white bass called wipers. They are by far the hardest fighting fish I've ever hooked! Max, I love your boat!

I hate hearing (rockfish) when I think of that name the last species I think of is striped bass, I think black seabass, tog, ling, cod, porgy, etc. I fish rocks basically every time I go and never once caught a striper off the rocks lol. I know it’s a Maryland thing to call em that, idk why it bothers me hahahaha love your content tho Kurt keep up the great work
