      I’m kind of backlogged right now with a bunch of film that I need to edit, I have two or three really good Striper videos coming out in the near future. Thanks for watching 🤝

    Cold weather fishing
    Sometimes they play with it
    Maybe tail slap then comeback and inhale

      Yeah I noticed if they striked it, they would come back for in seconds later

    I fished this entire summer live lining spots and caught so many stripers (2 keepers). I use a sabiki rig in the creeks with Fish Bite bloodworms. I can catch 20 spots in an hour. Best Season I ever had in Cape May.

    Just reel lol that’s all you have to do don’t open bail it either cause if the swallow it even with a inline circle hook you will still gut hook them

    • @609Fishing
      @609Fishing  Рік тому +1

      So I ended up going out a week later and had a way higher hook up ratio just reeling . It’s just a learning curve honestly, so used to setting the hook.

      @@609Fishing ya took me a lil bit also I also been using a 5/0 had no problems even with larger spot hook ups where good to my largest was 41 at the point last year lol be perch and blackfish till March if I do anything till then lol

    Are you fising channels between two bays or focusing on a feeder channel going into a bay from the main channel? Do the summer time deep holes work in December or do the fish use different deep holes?

    • @609Fishing
      @609Fishing  Рік тому +1

      Honestly, I think everything has to do with temperature and tide. That day the water was much colder, and the fish were more stacked up in deeper holes. But I also found fish on flats, if I was fishing, shallow or areas, I would just be fishing in a split shot rather than a half ounce sinker or even just a hook free lining them. I should have a video coming out in the next few weeks that was absolute insanity, jigging for stripers.

    I have more luck sweeping circle hooks to the side, like you would a topwater.

      Yeah, it’s like a cheat code. I wouldn’t of used them if I didn’t have a gift card to the local bait store 😂 they are almost as expensive as eggs 🥚 🤣
